This Christian nonfiction memoir documents a young couple's road to redemption after drug use sent them to jail. Together they faced time spent in an adult detention center and looked at the possibility of spending years behind bars. They leaned on God's strength and wisdom to help them out of their sinful path, and He restored them. With God's help, they were able to request early dismissal and begin living their lives together. They planned a wedding, planned a family, and planned their lives outside of a jail cell. They were given a clean slate to go back into the world and spread God's Word. God set them up for a greater purpose: spreading their ministry and opening doors for others. This chapter of their lives changed everything and made them more sensitive to hearing God's voice. God's purpose, Christian life, adult ministry, spiritual growth, religious memoir, Christian autobiography, overcoming adversity.

The benefit of choosing Assorted Puzzle Pieces is that the reader will have a better understanding that every woman has their own individual puzzle of life. Challenges that women face are to make them stronger and the process of change along with growth is often uncomfortable, however, it is necessary. In life sometimes we may have to cut or carve some things away but the pieces will eventually fit. In each poem the subject matter can be related to the reader locally or across the globe, perhaps someone in their circle to help connect the dots of the unknown, out in the deep if you will, in other words, the private and personal struggles that women encounter, and normally do not elaborate on. This is somewhere beyond normal, it leaps outside of the boundaries of race, ethnicity or socio-economic status.

There are many avenues today specifically tailored to address issues faced by those in a wide variety of professions. But there are not many books or publications, if any, covering the everyday issues encountered by correction officers. With this in mind, I hope to reach out to offer encouragement, maybe some enlightenment and humor to those in an otherwise difficult and depressing line of work.I dedicate this book to you, my brothers and sisters in uniform, and wish you all the best in your chosen field as a correction officer.

This story proclaims that every atom of matter in our universe and the genome of life was created and is controlled by an almighty God. If every atom of every speck of matter were not under the perfect control of God there would be nothing, absolutely nothing. But more important to mankind is that God has also created a spiritual image of himself in every person who has ever lived on earth. Our conscious mind, our very soul is a spiritual being created in the Image of the Mind of God. So why is there so much confusion about the purpose of human life? People who believe in a godless evolution conclude that our conscious mind, our very soul, just emanates from our brain, so they have no hope or faith in anything but physical life. This Story is intended to bring an end to the satanic debate of a godless evolution vs. six day creation, 7,000 years ago. Why, because Satan has designed both sides of this false argument. The results of this deception is that most all educational institutions teach proven scientific evolution as a godless act of nature while the Christian Church continues to teach that creation occurred in six days 7,000 years ago. Both sides of this satanic argument are false. Because the truth is; "Evolution Is Creation". Scientists are only describing the environmental processes that are designed and spirit driven by the invisible God of all creation. The creator God is also a God of love, as we share His love; we build eternal relationships with Him and with others. The author describes what the Holy Spirit has revealed to him over the past 40 years, as he worked in many parts of this world as a wildlife biologist, missionary and in disaster relief. As a committed follower of Jesus Christ, he has lived all of his adult life believing in The God of all creation. He also believes the spirit of God has caused the Holy Bible to be translated accurately from the original languages, but the interpretation of the creation story must be based on the accumulation of scientific knowledge of how God created the universe and biological life. The objective of this story is to reach out to people who know without a doubt that evolution is true, to also help them understand and believe that only an Eternal Almighty Spiritual God could have created the atom of all matter and the genome of biological life. God is Spirit and Truth, and His Word, "The Holy Bible", is a true reflection of this Eternal Almighty God.

Some have lived defeated lives because they did not know that the use of the gift would cause them to be victorious. Your mind can convince you that the gift only works in certain situations. Some have used the gift for a few days and decided it does not work; not realizing that this gift is extremely effective in both the spiritual and earthly realm; not realizing that the gift begins to work the moment it is put to use. As you open your gift, I hope you will not be too quick to give up on the gift. Its value is beyond comprehension. Its power is not easily articulated because you don't always know how much is being changed and resolved through the use of this gift. Life is never a straight-forward path to success, adventure, heroism, title, fame, fortune or the particular placement we envision for ourselves in the early years. It is the path between dawn and sunset that causes us to stop and ponder, "Who is this God who led us through this maze of life?" That is what we look for when we pick up a book to read, to learn from, to be amazed by, or satisfy our curiosity. Maybe that is why Janet's mother taught her at a very young age, "Boast not thyself of tomorrow, for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth" (Prov. 27:1). Being a thoughtful child, she pondered this plenty while growing up. Finishing high school, graduating from college, first job, marriage, teaching music; but none of these things flashed lights in the direction of any of the above. Later as a kindergarten teacher, and art teacher these became secondary to being mother of two children. Only then, did God begin to agitate the close knit group called 'family'. Soon agitation became desperation, as in "Where are You, God? We don't like this. Please show us Your way, and lead us in a direction we can understand and follow. We can't do this without You." If you have 'been there, done that', then you must read this book, because whatever or wherever you are, "God has been there, done that!"

We enjoy watching our swans on our small lake in Michigan. One year our swans had only one baby. The baby swam, ate, swam, grew, swam, developed into a beautiful swan, swam, swam, swam... Why wouldn't it fly? Why did it just like to stay in the water? Why was it content to remain when the parents flew south? Were its wings damaged? What would it do when winter came? Why was it SO reluctant? Shirley Neff Shirley has lived in Michigan all her life. She graduated from Central Michigan University with both her B.S. and M.A. degrees. Regrets. Actions not taken. Opportunities not seized. Life settled for, not seized. Sound familiar? The good news is that discouragement and setback define us only when given the power to do so. You and I don't have to live life that is hobbled or imprisoned by regret. What Momma Didn't Put In offers perspectives for a new beginning. In disarming fashion, Momma's story pushes us to look closely where we are and encourages us to consider the changes needed to get us where we want to go. This allegory pushes past our walls of defense and excuse challenging us to become more than we have been. A Journey to Success helps us examine beliefs, attitudes, and actions that may be holding us back from becoming the person we were designed to be. Ultimately we aren't where we are because of people and circumstances. We are where we are because we haven't taken the necessary steps to be somewhere different. It is time to move from passivity to action, from resignation to resolve. Stop imitating the life you have come to accept and start embracing the life you were created to have! This is a tantalizing story of an ALIEN family visiting the EARTH people on Christmas Eve. The father's name is LO, pronounced LO-o-o. and the mother's name is LEE-ee-ee. The twin's names are as follows: the girl's name is LA-a-a, and her brother's name is LOU-ou-ou. So, LO-o-o. LEE-ee-ee, LA-a-a, and LOU-ou-ou entered the Christmas Eve ceremony at the Presbyterian Church of Toms River, N.J., USA, and mesmerized the congregation. After the service, the ALIEN Family returned to space with their round spaceship with a great roar of flashing bright orange and red lights and roared into the sky brightening the whole dark atmosphere. As they got farther and farther, the people could still hear the Hymn -"JOY TO THE WORLD, THE LORD IS COME" loudly from the spaceship as if they were right next to the people down on earth. The people all waved saying their good-byes and shouting "Come back again next Christmas." Indeed, this was a most amazing, incredible and miraculous evening, never to be forgotten.

This cookbook will also help to fund a situation in Africa. I am aware of the hunger in Africa with the children. It is wonderful that the world is reaching out to help them. There is another big crises going on in Africa that the world is less aware of. They are famished for the words of God. There are not enough clergy to spread the word of God or administer to the people. Statistics indicate that in a population of 298,277,000 Eritrea has only one ordained Pastor and three licensed Ministers. Tanzania is another country that has few pastors. West Tanzania Field has 206 Churches, excluding branches, but it has only 22 pastors. Lack of funds makes it difficult for them to go to school for the paschal ministry. I felt a great commitment to help with the situation. A percentage from the proceeds of this book will go to sponsor and train pastors for the ministry. Some Pastors have to walk up to 4 hours to reach to a church. We also wish to sponsor some bicycles that will help with transportation. If you would like to help with this situation, or sponsor a Pastor, or contribute towards a bicycle, you could visit www.pastorsproject.info for more details, or purchase one of these books. I have been a volunteer in the OPMASDA Prison ministry for almost 20 years. I know they are doing every thing they can to help people who or incarcerated. They provide opportunities and assistance to inmates and their families. The OPMA are fulfilling Matthew 25 from the Bible. A percentage from this book will go to help fund their programs.
