Imagine if you could read the narrative of Jesus Christ in one full, seamless story, using every detail found in all four gospels of the Bible. What would you learn along the way? Would it uniquely enlighten you? Would it clarify events that may have confused you in the past? The four gospels found in the Bible were each written to a different audience for various purposes. While reading one story, it can be challenging to envision the complete account of what genuinely took place; much like having a puzzle piece and trying to match it to the full picture. The Unpuzzled Journey dares to take on the challenge of puzzling these pieces together so that you can visualize His journey on this earth. Unpuzzled is another way of saying, "To make able to understand." This resource brings the gospels together in an exclusive way and unlocks enigmas rarely seen before.Jason Kimberly is the Executive Pastor of Church Alive in Albuquerque, NM. As a pastor, Jason has a passion for developing healthy church systems, which enable others to expand the kingdom of God. The Unpuzzled Journey is a compilation of a two-year project designed to bring simplicity to the story of Jesus Christ.

In a simple world isolated on an island, both fear and control have gone unchecked for generations. Village elders have plotted and convinced residents that the only way they can ensure their preservation on this volcanic island is to entirely submit to their directives on every major decision in their lives. Those questioning the elders either die suddenly or disappear from among the people. Like the smoldering haze that covers the island, fear has enslaved the minds of the residents preventing them from seeing anything clearly. A young woman, desperate for happiness, stumbles across a group of people living very uncommon lives and are apparently unaffected by the haze. As she joins these dissenters, her life changes dramatically and threatens the plans of the elders as she learns to follow the wisdom she has been given. Arrests, dramatic prison breaks, and a number of uncommon events surround the lives of those following the ways of the eagle. The incessant pursuit of the enforcers determined to see their capture brings this conflict to a head on the island of Kumani.

In our ever-changing society, many of the virtues and values that were so much a part of our former generations have "fallen along the wayside." Some of these countless changes have resulted in a tremendous crumbling of the family structure, thereby weakening future generations and society as a whole. For a start, if every born-from-above parent who may have become passive in instructing and teaching of their children would resolve to get back to the basics, i.e., reading and teaching our youth the fundamentals from the word of God (the Holy Bible) from the very outset of their primary years, this would undoubtedly be a remedy for further crumbling in each individual family. If each parent or guardian will do their part, bit by bit, a noticeable difference can and will be made.

Who is Jesus Christ of Nazareth? What is the essence of this God who became man that humanity might regain the opportunity of spending eternity with Him? In this book the reader is invited to enroll in an educational curriculum that seeks to answer these questions in an irrefutable way using teachers that have been created by the Master Educator Himself. "The acceptable sins are subtle in the sense that they deceive us into thinking they are not so bad, or not thinking of them as sins or even worse, not thinking about them at all!" Many people walk in the way of the Lord and do their best to follow His word, but sometimes people make mistakes. It is human nature, for both those who have and have not found God. Mea Culpa, author Elma Chopra's latest book, discusses the acceptable or subtle sins that many devout Christians commit in everyday life, at times without realizing it. Elma Chopra, a born-again Catholic, examines the subtle ways in which humans can sin such as being judgmental or prideful. Even though those who have found God try to follow His word and Jesus' example, there are small moments where these sins can occur... Being prideful of your good works done for the community... Being thankless and joyless in what God has commanded you to do... Sins such as these can slip by the wayside, never to be addressed. Using examples from her own life, stories of others, and scripture, Elma shows Christians how to relate to what they are experiencing. Rather than to refuse to admit that they sin, she encourages Christians to reconcile themselves to the fact of sin and work to recognize and deal with it. After showing an understanding of how sins can slip into our lives without being noticed, the final chapters offer steps toward dealing with sins and healing to assist readers. Here, prayer, testimony, and experience contribute to the reader's journey towards restoration. If believers can acknowledge and seek forgiveness for their subtle sins, they will be following God's command. With this book, Elma hopes to bring herself and others closer to the Lord.

In the shelter of my formative years I was taught about God and, like everyone around me, I lived under the assumption that he was real. As I grew older I saw no tangible evidence of his existence and the very concept of God faded deeper into the background of my mind. By the time I entered high school, I had become convinced that having religion or believing in God was equivalent to choosing a hobby; something in which to involve yourself to pass the time. By my first semester in college, I disavowed God altogether and considered myself to be an atheist. We all share a common fact that life is indeed a journey, the quality of which rests upon individual choices made along the way. Whether seeking an education, career path or raising a family, the most foundational aspect of our journey upon which our lives hinge is the search for truth. Our culture has rendered truth to seem completely subjective and fluid. Is there such a thing as objective, universal truth at all? I invite you to join me to find the answer to this vital question as I share my experiences with you. I have found that there is a vast difference between "a" truth and "THE" truth. That difference has impacted me immeasurably and enabled me to live a caliber of life I never thought possible.

I never had it easy. Growing up, I faced trails and tribulations. I often questioned God, "Why me?" Abuse and rejection to falling in love with the wrong man resulted in a domestic violet relationship. Under silent frustration and no where else to turn - contemplation of suicide emerged. At the point, I vowed to be voiced. Behind every scar there is a story to be told. Be a voice, and break your silence.

On Jacob's journey to Padan Aram from Beersheba to find a wife, he went to sleep one night at a "certain place". This was the now famous "Jacobs ladder" encounter that he named Bethel. Shortly after that he continued on his journey and came across a group of shepherds at a well with a large stone on it where they would all gather and together would lift the stone off so that all could draw water for their herds. Jacob single handedly removed the stone upon meeting the woman he was going to love and take as his wife. Was it the angels that helped him move the stone or love or maybe both?

The United States has a phenomenal history. It is the home of the brave and the land of the free; where democracy and freedom prevail. How much do we know of our leaders, the presidents? To study the presidents is to study the fascinating history of our country. This publication (45 chapters) reviews the events of the 44 presidents. A major emphasis of this book is presidential humor and the humorous situations they were placed in. A number of presidential elections have been close and controversial. Some presidents have had morality issues. Dr. McDowell studied the presidents in detail at a very early age. In high school he could name the presidents in 19 seconds. He has given talks on presidential humor at many locations. The presidents have been ranked from great to below average. Most presidents loved their country and did their best. In the future may God grant us exceptionally qualified presidents that love our country.

It is true that the life of a believer is filled with challenges of all kind---but God offers countless promises to help you face every situation. Although God has so graciously provided us with the necessary providence to overcome life's' challenges, we must set our heart to take encouragement from our relationship with Him in the worst of times. It is our duty and interest as believers that whatever happens, we can encourage ourselves in God, being assured that He can and will bring light out of darkness, peace out of trouble, and good out of evil to all that love Him and "who are the called according to His purpose" (Romans 8:28). We can always find solace in the Word of God when the weight of life seems to come in like a flood if we would just hold on to, and encourage ourselves in the promises of God. This devotional offers you messages of encouragement to uplift you when you encounter a situation in your life causing you to feel hopeless and all alone. Don't be moved by the challenge, speak to your soul, and Encourage Yourself in the Lord. Michael Pope is the author of a previous work called 'An Encouraging Word---A 30 Day Devotional'. Reverend Billy S. Gardner Sr., has been in the ministry since September of 1998. He has served in many different capacities including senior pastor for nine years. He earned a B.A. in Religion, an M.A. in Theological Studies, and is currently pursuing his Doctorate in Ministry. He is a Certified (not licensed) Faith Based Counselor and works as a Church Growth Consultant.Rev. Gardner has had the privilege of working with different churches crossing racial and denominational lines. These churches range in size from five members to three hundred and fifty members. This privilege has afforded him a wealth of knowledge that he shares with different churches and their leadership. Rev. Gardner believes that in order to have a healthy church it starts with prayer and seeking God. Leadership comes next. Then comes the type of service, evangelism, and discipleship. Times have changed. In order to have a healthy church, the way we do church has to change. Rev. Gardner has a passion to see the lost saved, Christians have their minds transformed from carnal to spiritual, and be a source of hope in the community. This takes strong leadership and strategic planning. It is easier to get people in the church than it is to keep them once they are there. Unfortunately, our churches are losing people faster than they are gaining them. Or, once people decide to join a church, we do not know what to do with them after they arrive. Rev. Gardner''s hope is that he can help all of God''s people that will allow him to do so in this area.He is married with four adult children and a three-year-old daughter and two deceased kids.Questions: contact Billy_gardner@ymail.com

My Defender Sets Me Free is an interactive teaching devotional written by a nine-year-old boy and his mother to help children develop a deeper relationship with the Lord. This book is intended for ages 9+ and discusses topics such as friendship, showing God's love, speaking words of life, forgiveness, depending on the Lord, taking thoughts captive, and telling the truth. Inside, there are thirty devotions that contain Biblical teaching, personal stories, and interactive exercises. At the end of each section, children will be asked to write, draw, pray, and step out in faith to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Each interactive devotion should take between fifteen to twenty minutes to complete and is intended to inspire readers to walk in freedom from the ways of the world through the power of the Holy Spirit. About the Authors Ever since Carter was a toddler, he has had a passion for knowing the Lord, hearing His voice, and preaching the Gospel. When Carter was four years old, he started having dreams with Jesus in them. Over the years, God has increasingly opened the eyes of Carter's heart to hear and see from a Heavenly perspective. Carter has been asked to preach on several occasions and enjoys praying for and talking with others about the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Lauren Trogdon is Carter's mother and has loved the Lord since she was a child. She is also an author who has written about intimacy with God and hearing from Him through dreams. She believes hearing the voice of the Holy Spirit is an essential part of Christianity for God's children of all ages. Carter and Lauren have a desire to see believers focus and apply the Word of God to their lives so the light of Christ within the Church continues to powerfully invade a world that is in desperate need of freedom. "So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed" (John 8:36, NIV).

This is my story, a journey of the heart and mind. It''s a journey from introspection and emotional turmoil to a life enjoyed before our loving heavenly Father. More than my story, it is instructive as well, a stream of my thoughts on different subjects that relate to our walk before God, one that I trust reflects the Father''s heart and brings encouragement to the downtrodden, one that inspires His children to walk fully in all He has prepared in advance for us to walk in. I trust that through these pages many will be stirred in their passion for God and be set free to receive the love of our Father, to love and enjoy God and be enthralled by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, to appreciate the wondrous work of His Spirit in our hearts, to run the great race set before each of us.Finally, one of the purposes of this book is to encourage believers from different tribes of the body of Christ to embrace one another and engage one another from a place of honor - heart and mind. This embrace of one another includes the acceptance of the different emphases each of us brings to the body. The embrace of mystery and the contentment with not having to fully comprehend the truths of Scripture, is key to us maturing and learning to hear one another and welcome each other''s unique contribution. It is a place of security in our heavenly Father, free from the fear of error, where we will be truly free to listen to one another, and even be taught by one another, with His Spirit guiding us into all truth to a mature bride, to the full measure of the stature of Christ.Jonathan Gale in The Joy of Thinking with You gets it. He communicates with spirit, clarity and passion. Those who read this powerful witness carefully can have their own walk with God changed forever. This is our story of an outwardly perfect family. Inside our house though, strife often prevailed. Unknown to us as children, other families also had struggles. This may be your story, too.Being close in age, fifteen months apart we had many of the same experiences but each of us viewed them through our own eyes, with our own personalities, and from our own vantage points. Our true story is made of many tales. Let us take you back to our early preschool years through high school in the 1940s through 1960s. Sense the anxiety of Joan as she stood with Grandma Degnan while the elderly lady was challenged by the United States Border Patrol. Workplace problems confounded Maureen as she announced, "Strike!" and labor ceased. In a parking lot, unattended in the family car, two preschoolers, Jane and Denny, survived unharmed.Would fears of our malingering, alcoholic father become unbearable? Could our energetic, steadfast mother balance the trials of growing girls and running a household on her own? Each story is written by one of us, Joan, Maureen, or Jane. Each story comes from our hearts and reveals our personalities, our challenges, and our strengths. Join us on our journey as we take you through the deep waters, rocky roads, adventurous climbs, and joyful exploits of our growing up years. The Degnan girls were raised in Erie, Pennsylvania during the 1940s, 50s and 60s. Maureen Furno is a retired nurse who lives in Wisconsin. Joan Degnan and Jane Childers are retired teachers who live in Texas. The three sisters enjoy spending time with their families, volunteering and visiting with each other. This is their first book.

On June 25, 2016, Jennifer Reichle and her husband, Philip, and their two sons Caleb, age 13, and Nathaniel, age 10, were hit head on by a car traveling 70 MPH when the driver crossed over into their lane. After the first impact, the other car hit a second time when it fishtailed, slamming into Jennifer, who was driving, and Caleb, sitting behind her. Both her neck and her right arm were broken. She called out for her two sons, and only one answered. In the pages of this book, told from a mother's heart, read how Jennifer and her family had to depend on God with critical injuries, surgeries, and separation from one another. With no family nearby, they had to trust God to meet every need. The trauma was very real, and each one of them experienced that God will never leave us nor forsake us. Jennifer Reichle grew up in New York and earned a B.A. in Philosophy from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, NY and a Master of Divinity from the Alliance Theological Seminary in Nyack, NY. She has worked as a paralegal, college dorm director and director of residence life. She worked at the Hephzibah House ministry in New York City, and at the Call Center at John Hagee Ministries in San Antonio, Texas and ministered alongside her husband in churches in Connecticut leading small groups and doing discipleship ministry. In 2013, they moved to Texas, which ended up being a far bigger transition than they had imagined, and three months before the car accident, Jennifer's mother passed away. Like a palm tree, which takes a heavy beating in a storm, but in the end is still standing, Jennifer has seen the faithfulness of God to sustain her and her family through these traumatic events.
