Home. No word in the English language evokes more emotion or sentiment. Sometimes the way home can be the hardest thing you’ve ever done and can be a part of your life you wish you could forget.  Through the unforgettable experiences of frontline combat and the intense day to day struggle for survival, RL Goodson fought for the privilege of seeing his wife and young family once again. Accompany him across the beaches of Normandy, the hedge rows of Northern France, the frozen wasteland of the Ardennes-Alsace, and the final push into the Rhineland. In the end, weep with him as he sees home once again. The Way home is universal in its scope and intimately person in its telling.

  • - Life Changing Images of Christ's Greatness -Seen Through the Lens of Science & Technology-
    av S L Mayers
    245

Is it possible that in our frenetic pursuit of knowledge, we lost the way to wisdom? We have explored the machinery of the atom, the depths of the oceans, the surface of the moon, the lifecycle of stars, and the mysteries of the human genome. But have we explored our thinking habits thoroughly enough to evaluate where they are leading our lives? A well-engineered life results from well-engineered thoughts. The privacy of our minds is a factory where the thoughts that shape the trajectory of our lives are designed, built, and tested. We cannot possibly rise any higher than the quality of our thinking.  Jesus the Messiah is the only individual ever to master the art of thinking perfectly. The mind of Christ was and is an infinitely deep well bubbling over with perfect goodness, mercy, purpose, beauty, and contentment. His supremely great thoughts provide a template for the thoughts we need and the life we want.Christ frequently used stories to reveal His thoughts to a troubled world. Great stories are powerful. Based on the Bible’s perennial best-seller status, it is clear that ones told by and about Jesus have most resonated with the human race. The story of science and technology is also profoundly interesting because it continues to influence our lives in innumerable ways. Come and explore the healing thoughts of Christ, seen through the lens of thought-provoking illustrations from science and technology.

  • - The Grateful Son: The Grateful Son
    av Kim Hayes
    165,-

“On leaving this planet Jesus instructed us to go and make disciples. I’m proud Kim Hayes takes Him seriously, as she opens up a fresh view of scriptural truth to inspire followers.  She makes you think, imagine, discover – all things that move us closer to the Father. This is a tool to accomplish that which you’ll find encouraging and can use her study to be an encourager to other searchers.”  — John Russell, pastor and authorIn Luke 15, Jesus tells back to back parables about how lost sheep, a lost coin and a lost son are so valuable, they are pursued and there is great rejoicing when they are found. Jesus desperately wanted the Pharisees and the teachers of the law to understand God’s grace. How could we know this? Because He told three stories with the same message and the third one reveals His target audience. We will explore how the main character of the parable is the older son.  It is easy for most of us to empathize with the older son’s position if you just consider that the father finances the younger son in leaving home. Does that seem at all fair? He blesses the son in his excursion into self-centeredness. We begin by examining the actual parable, so that you hear the message Jesus gave in response to what He observed in the hearts of His target audience. Then travel with me into a word picture examining Jesus’ desire for the hearts of these Jewish leaders, and today for all who follow Christ.  Kim Hayes has been married to her high school sweetheart, Jeff, for 35 years and they have four grown children. She is a teacher, writer, family and marriage consultant with experience in helping women in crisis pregnancies and other family issues. Her first love is Jesus, who first loved her.

Discipleship making seems to be a lost art within the modern church today. As a matter of fact, the church seems to neglect true discipleship because it has a lack of a working knowledge in God’s Word. Disciplining, combined with practical use in the everyday world, is a necessity today if the babe in Jesus Christ is going to survive Satan’s devices and schemes. In this book, I have set it up so that the beginner can learn how to study the Bible easily. The subject matter walks the new believer through the basic doctrine he/she needs to know in order to establish a root system in the word. Each subject area uses one verse and breaks it down into principles that can be easily understood. Each verse used in each subject is highlighted. The key words and the Greek spellings are shown with their meanings.Questions are provided for the new believer to think and pray about in each subject area.A prayer of confession is provided to teach the new believer how to pray God’s Word in accordance to God’s will.

"God''s Revelation be Honest" therefore, for me to be honest this is a book that this writer should have wrote many years ago. However, again with all honesty: The Spirit of God said that I needed to be made ready to write God''s revelation. Yes, to most people the Holy Bible is the word of God or the Holy Scriptures; however, it is also the revelation of God, therefore the writing of this book I will use the term God''s revelation. The meaning for stating God''s revelation is that it is stated in many forms written in the Old Testament in this manner of oaths, vows, covenants, commands, commandments, and laws of God.Yet consider further that there are these key elements or key phrases on how to interpret God''s revelation. Now my personal understanding came through my research, Bible study, by reading many things that other writers wrote about God''s revelation. Then to be honest about God''s revelation we as Christians need to take into consideration these things: The "purpose of revelation", "God''s development of revelation with mankind", "methods of revelation", "credibility of revelation", "probability of revelation", "possibility of revelation", "problem of revelation", and finally the "meaning of revelation". Yes, this statement made above is full of theological and Christian you can find recorded in various ways and various terms in the pages of the Holy Bible.

  • - A verse by verse study of the Book of Revelation
    av Jamane a White
    255,-

My name is Jamane A White and I was born on May 28, 1939 in the state of Oklahoma and the city of Tulsa. I was there until the age of three when my brother Delmar, age six and sister Faye the infant left Tulsa along with my mother Ocey. My father was in the military and about to be discharged; while station at Mare Island Naval Base in Vallejo, California. I also remember that it took three trains for all of us to reach Vallejo, California and I classed the trains in this manner. The first train I call it the “slow poke” and the second train was classed as the “ flyer” and the third train was classed as the “stream liner” and the best of them all. My father and mother went on to have thirteen kids, which turned out to be seven girls and six boys. We all grow up in Vallejo, California and attended the Vallejo schools and the best I could do in school was c’s and d’s. However, for some reason I liked to work with numbers but was taken away with a three month stay in Stanford hospital in San Francisco, California with a condition called RA in short and cause me to learn how to walk all over. That was the roots of my life, however, my first job was working with my father in his landscaping business and then in a gas station and from there to work for D. O. D. for some twenty- eight years and retired in 1994 as a Logistic Management Specialist. While working for D. O. D. I became a child of the King and that happened in 1968, and I joined and worked in St Paul A.M. E. Church in Vallejo California under the Pastor Fred  Silkett and during that time I read though the Bible in one year. There came a call to the ministry and in 1988, I was appointed a minister in the African Methodist Episcopal Church. While in school, English was not my cup of tea and writing least of all; however, with the power of the Holy Spirit and reading again the book of the Revelation the strong desire came to write a book covering the Revelation, a book a lots of Christians did not read. I guess the rest is history.

Yo he vencido al mundo" (Juan 16:33).

ABOUT THE DEVOTIONALMany years ago, Jesus gave this message that in the last days men’s heart will fear because of the alarming events that will take place. Although this is true, Psalm ninety-one holds some of the most comforting promises for such a time as this. In this Psalm the two-fold message of Jesus living in us and us living in Him is revealed. The purpose of this devotional is to explicate the profound promises of God. We will understand that these precious promises were not designed to benefit one set of people; however, through their experiences we will appreciate the authenticity of each promise. We will understand that God is not a God of yesterday, but He is the God of today, tomorrow, and forever.  He keeps all His promises throughout all the ages.

  • - And It Will Be Given To You For Everyone Who Asks Receives
    av Nkechi Chinedum Uwaga
    149,-

A new job; the hoped-for spouse; a baby that seemed impossible to conceive; a difficult exam: these are prayers people bring to the feet of Jesus, but may or may not believe, in their hearts, God can make into realities. Include also a society where the drive to do things your way is seen as better than God’s way, and we drift further from knowing God fulfills our every need. However, author Nkechi Chinedum Uwaga wholeheartedly believes anything asked of God in prayer is to be received if one has faith that this is God’s will and He can do the impossible. She seeks to inspire readers’ prayer lives and hope in God’s abilities to provide in her new, nonfiction book, Ask and It Will Be Given You, For Everyone Who Asks Receives. Stemming from the scripture verses of Matthew 7:7-8, “Ask, and it will be given you…,” Nkechi educates readers on the belief that when we ask needs for our lives, God will provide when we pray in knowledge that He alone can produce this hope, provision, or dream.Nkechi goes methodically through important attributes of prayer for needs, beginning with why we should ask God to fulfill our needs to how all perfect gifts come from God and concluding with reasons to not give up when our prayers aren’t “answered” in a timely manner to us.Stories of the Bible, such as the Syrophoenician woman with the demon-possessed daughter, as well as Nkechi’s own experiences give readers plausible examples of exercised faith shown to God in prayer and the positive results to come from them. So, what do you need to lay in prayer at God’s feet? For Nkechi, anything can become a reality when given to our Father in heaven who gives good gifts to those who ask Him (Matt. 7:11).  ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Mrs Nkechi Chinedum Uwaga is minister of the gospel, a missionary and an international Conference Speaker. She is the vice president of ‘We Impact Africa’ and pastors alongside her husband as senior pastors of God’s Favorite house Church Nigeria. A registered nurse by profession and married with three Children.

"Daughter, I'm going to bring you to a place that I have called you." The Lord says, "I've given you creative gifting, and they're not just for the people, they're not just for fun, not just for something to do. That creative gifting is part of my personality, and I've given that to you, daughter, to glorify Me. The Lord says, "You've done that, but there's even a greater ministry I have for you in the arts. The Lord says, "There will be an anointing on it, and they will feel the presence of the Lord." Eight years later, God started giving Marianne prophetic visions to paint. Everything is in His timing. God does not desire to talk to your mask, but through it. The mask is a weapon one wear as a disguise, a cover up to defend, pretend, fear, love, celebrate, hate, hide, plot, scheme or even be a sinister of something. A mask of blindness has covered those eyes of leadership desiring the love of money, sex, power, and greed as their choice in God's house today. Social media are telling some of their stories. Many ungodly behaviors that are the opposite of righteousness are recognizable in the church. To some churches God's people begin to look like dollar signs? Conferences with motivational speakers with no power of deliverance. People will stand in long lines for prophesy over their lives whether it is true or not. They will pay as they are writing false checks to a false prophet. Churches against churches, pastors against pastors, members against pastors, pastors against members, and members against members. Satan doesn't want you. His aim is to keep you from praising and coming into the knowledge of God. For this cause we have a mediator Jesus Christ who is between mankind and God who has given us the victory over Satan and his tactics. Hosea 4:6 "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou has forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children."

MISSIONS! MISSIONS! MISSIONS! Jesus has called each of us out! [Matt. 28: 19; Mk. 16: 15] Where has He called me to Go? How can I obey this calling? How do I prepare? How do I get there? If I can't go and really have to stay, what is my part in obeying Jesus' Command to Go? This volume tells of the struggle to fulfill a calling to foreign missions. Obedience sent Gary and his family to London. The mission: To Teach and to Reach. From a small Training college Gary was involved in training others to serve their local church or to serve on a foreign field. Each weekend at "The Hub of the Universe" the Gospel was presented as the world filtered past Gary and "the Piccadilly Preachers". More than a million lost souls were given the opportunity to meet Jesus. You and I have heard our Lord's command. The needs of the lost are crying in our ears. Now, what is your response?
