  • - Mighty Warrior
    av Patricia Roberts-Johnson
    295,-

I AM GOD AND THIS IS MY REPRESENTATIVE Patricia Roberts-Johnson, and I approve this book. On this introduction my mission is to do as I'm told by GOD as HIS representative. In Isaiah 50:4, "The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakenth mine ear to hear as the learned. In verse 7, for the Lord God will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed." This book is to cause each and everyone to be drawn to read it and come away with a greater expectation of who Jesus really is through the "Inspired Word of God." My goal also is for the readers not to put this book on the shelf, but pass it to someone else. I know for myself that I had an encounter with "Serendipity God." God will give you more than you could ever imagine when you empty of your old ways, old ideas, old habits, old attitudes, personality and countenance, and He will build His character in you. Life is a merit of good and bad things that happen to us in life, preparing us for His purpose, will and plan on our journey to destiny. For promotion cometh neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the judge; He putteth down one, and setteth up another. Ps. 75:6,7 In closing, you must forgive totally of all offenses. Don't allow the perpetrator to make you their puppet, but do allow God to make you His trophy and masterpiece. "Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall Humpty Dumpty had a great fall All of the kings horses and All the king s men Couldn't put Humpty Dumpty back Together again", but God said I can I will If you only trust and be still. Silver and gold have I none, But of such as I have, give I unto you. In the name of Jesus Christ Rise up and be made whole.

Behind the closed doors of your home, are you silently suffering abuse? Even in Christian homes, people live with painful wounds from abusive childhoods and marriages. They cover up once they set foot in the outside world. Sadly, churches rarely discuss domestic issues and counseling is often unaffordable. Abuse is increasingly prevalent in the lives of innocent people of all ages. After freeing herself from forty-two years in an abusive marriage, author and educator Diane Blacker sheds light on the reality of abuse. While having her own Emmy-nominated television program in Chicago and working for Campus Crusade for Christ, Diane remained quiet about what went on in her home. Today, she shares her powerful story to teach others how to be restored from a life of abuse and its traumatic effects. In Forever Free from the Wounds of Your Past, Diane reveals the truth behind why people are abusive and what happens in the lives of those who are abused. Through an amazing testimony of hardship, triumph, and forgiveness, Diane explores why wounded people wound others and how both the abuser and the victim can find restoration in Christ. Using "weapons" outlined in God's Word, you'll discover how to defend yourself from abuse, be healed of the emotional pain of victimhood, and set your hope on a future filled with the joy of the Lord. Our Lord came to heal the brokenhearted, so receive His healing today! "Diane Blacker has lived through abuse, and overcome unspeakable challenges by the clear Word of God empowering her. FOREVER FREE is a must read for any person who has ever suffered abuse and longs for complete healing."Marabel Morgan Author, "The Total Woman" & "Hard Beginning, Happy Ending" Diane Blacker is a former professional figure skater who spends her life sharing the good news of Christ. Have you ever heard someone say he/she had a bad day? I have. I've heard it so much that I refuse to say that any day is bad. Over the years, I've convinced myself that I don't have bad days; I, rather, have different types of good days. Affirming this personal truth has improved my outlook on the days of my life. For me, my experiences may not be what I want them to be, but to label a day as bad discourages my ability to rejoice and be glad in it. I embrace the notion that we shouldn't just live life; we should manage it. If you've ever managed anything, you know it can be challenging. Bank accounts, households, jobs, responsibilities, and time must be managed in order for us to perform well. If we are poor managers, we risk being procrastinators whose lives fall short of reaching full potential. This book offers key essentials so that you can be proactive in managing your life when you face a difficult day. Consider the following: You can make more money, but not more time. This day is the only one you have. Yesterday will never be seen again. Tomorrow deserves preparation, but not to the detriment of sacrificing your today. Every day you are "becoming." You are "here" until you get "there." This book is intended to be a reminder that although you don't control all of life's events, you do get to decide how you process your day. You can manage your days in order to get the best out of life. After reading this forty-entry guide, you will know how to pull the good out of challenging moments and live free of internal chaos, even in the midst of external struggle.

Making Sense of Revelation is a valuable book to avoid spiritual complacency by Christians. It also helps to identify the false believes that are flooding the world. With so many Christians talking about the end times, perhaps it's time to consider what type of church Jesus expects to find upon His return to earth. In A Church That Works, Apostle Denroy Gumbs asks Christians to consider the bride of Christ, the Lord's church, today through the lens of their own local place of worship and to compare their church's activity to what Jesus called His bride to do. Apostle Gumbs suggests Christians build and grow churches that make disciples by sharing the message of the cross and extending grace, to go beyond their walls to win souls, to encourage ministries that reveal love for neighbor, and focus on fulfilling the great commission. A Church That Works is filled with biblical truths that serve as a compass for anyone in church leadership in any denomination. What type of church will Jesus find upon His return?

    av Marcia McAllister
    179,-

For so many of us, these are difficult times that we are now experiencing. Discouragement and defeat abound...even for so many Christians. We so often find ourselves battling times of weariness and waiting on the Lord for answers that just seem to not come when we think we need them. So many feel weakness as they attempt to pull themselves out of the many difficult and hurtful situations in which they find themselves. As a pastor for many years, I have heard all of this from so many and back in 2009 I began to desire to write a book that would address all this and bring answers, encouragement and hope for the issues that confront so many of us. A few months ago, I felt like it was now time to finish this work and get God's answers to all of this out in print. After many years, I picked up the partial manuscript and began to write again. I can say that God has anointed this work and it is with joy that I can say that God does have the answers for you that will give you renewed STRENGTH FOR THE FIGHT!

In the last days before Christ's return, deception will be a key component in Satan's arsenal. Biblical truth will be the only weapon needed, to stop any religious myths from taking hold. When an accurate Biblical Rapture is very different from what's being taught in the body of Christ, deception is quite evident. It is every Christian's individual responsibility to be equipped with truth and the power of the Holy Spirit, thus shining light on the darkness.Let's put the scriptural pieces together and see an accurate account of Jesus' return. Jesus is not coming back to retrieve the Christians. He is coming back to retrieve the Holy Spirit that's supposed to be in the Christians. If there's enough Holy Spirit in us to collect, we will be transfigured and caught up to meet Him.

It wasn't until I accepted Him and said yes to the call where I was able to understand just what he was doing for me. I had to go through the point of being homeless and lost to know and to understand that it was only God who saved me....

"Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest." (Mark 6:31b)Jesus calls His disciples to come with Him. This is a call many people need to hear today with fresh ears. The world moves so quickly, and the pace is frantic. Everything is urgent, and it seems impossible to stop long enough to hear the whisper of God. The desire to pause is a longing God has placed in our hearts. It is a longing to spend time with Him. Most will people do not know how to open the gift of the Sabbath. Sanctuary in Time invites you to consider setting aside a special amount of time for the purpose of discovering a new or refreshed intimacy with God. It leads you to get away with Jesus to a quiet place and rest in Him. It is carefully crafted to guide you into an experience of the presence of God in a deeper and more meaningful way as you pause to be with Him. It will awaken in you a desire to have Sabbath become a regular time in the rhythm of your life."As a leadership couple involved in global missions for 40 years, we have come to realize the importance and value of Sabbath rhythm. It's so very easy in ministry to focus on performance rather than spiritual intimacy with our Father. We have indeed grown through our experience with Sanctuary in Time: A Sabbath Retreat Guidebook. Chuck Cervenka takes you deep into Scripture while providing a practical guide to understanding and experiencing Sabbath. During our Sabbath Retreat we each found ourselves overwhelmed with the presence of Christ. The retreat experience allowed us to pull away for a time of spiritual renewal but also provided a path forward to include Sabbath rhythms in our daily lives. We highly recommend this guidebook for anyone in ministry who finds themselves in need of some time and space to reconnect with their Savior." Perry & Sandi Bradford, Executive Director Barnabas International Chuck Cervenka is the Senior Pastor at Calvary Community Church in Williams Bay, Wisconsin where he lives with his wife Karen. He loves being a shepherd and has a heart for people to find the rest God has designed for them by opening the gift of the Sabbath in their lives.

This book is a collection of some of the Bible studies and English lessons that I have written for my ESL students over the years. There are sixty-five Bible studies and sixty-five English lessons. There is a dictionary of Biblical terms and an answer sheet at the end. Radical encounters is a memoir of supernatural events that were experienced by the author through different seasons of her life. These encounters early on inspired her to search for purpose, which resulted in her faith in Jesus Christ. As she grew in radical faith through His Word it caused her to become radical in obedience. Her faith and obedience allowed the Holy Spirit to have His way in one of the most hellish places on earth. She candidly shares what she was faced with in circumstances and situations as a Peace Officer that was beyond altercations and incidents.Wanda Bias, whom I know to be a brave and bold woman of God, is to be commended for the writing of her first book, "Radical Encounters". I knew there was something special about her when I first met her. Our spirits connected in an environment where you will find human beings in a very low place of their lives. Her faith in the powerful Word of God, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, allowed her to bring hope to many God placed in her path. Each of her encounters revealed her total openness to the Lord's will and sometimes how we in our weaknesses will not yield to His instructions. But God, in His infinite wisdom will bring to our attention how where we fail to obey the unction of the Holy Spirit, He will still heal, deliver and set free. John 18:9 "That the saying might be fulfilled which He spoke, "Of those whom You gave Me I have lost none." This is a must read for those who believe in the radical work of God through Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. - Rev.
