Societas Americana (American Society) is the legacy of the Cooper family. The Coopers were itinerant laborers who specialized in building parks during the American Civil War. They began to also teach and play baseball as they traveled around the United States, and this was a tradition that would continue. As time went on, the family evolved and changed. Some members left, while others embraced the game their family loved. Thus, the Traveling Coopers were born! Author Richard Strawn has brought to life history through the Cooper family in his historical fiction novel. Through his writing, Strawn also highlights the importance of telling stories and the joy of passing down stories to future generations. So keep reading to learn of the Coopers and the lives that were lived over so many years. Feel their joys and sorrows, discover their family, and most of all, enjoy!

This assignment from God overwhelmed my heart in a way that made me excited and terrified all at the same time. This book is meant to encourage and inspire someone to dream big. Childhood disappointments can be devastatingly traumatic and mold our character as we grow. Do we allow it to conquer us or do we rise up as a warrior and fight for a better life? From grief to grace was written through experiencing rejection, insecurities, self-doubt and heartache. Happiness and confidence were the final destination! To get there, I had to let my open wounds heal and become scars. Defeat was not an option and now my purpose is to bring hope into the lives of anyone who feels unworthy. You are enough. Grace has covered you. Take a giant leap of faith with me and step into the life God desires you to live.

The battle for our souls is brewing. There is a church and an antichurch, the gospel and the anti-gospel, Christ and the antichrist in this final battle for our souls. We are all knowingly or unknowingly falling into these rival camps. Family, fatherhood, motherhood, childhood, and everything that is precious is under diabolical attack. The "terrible swift sword" of Christ has come to separate the grain from the chaff. It will not be easy anymore. The "dictatorship of moral relativism" is trying to choke the remaining vestige of the Judeo-Christian civilization depicted in the Decalogue. This postmodern century is shaped by iconoclasm of unprecedented proportions. The iconoclasts have targeted faith, morals, family and hierarchy. We have become "tasteless, odorless, colorless and shapeless," in this chaotic cyber-infirmary. We are sleep walking in a virtual world that provides us with "bread and circuses," while our most precious souls are drifting into eternal perdition. If truth is not absolute, then it ceases to be truth. The postmodern world is creating a "cult of man," whereby man becomes the measure of all things. We have lost the sense of transcendence, and hence are on a warpath with God to create a utopian heaven on earth. We have forgotten what the last century has taught us. The communists wanted to create a utopian world, but their dreams turned into a nightmare when their utopian heaven turned into a dystopian hell. We are now trying to create an alternate universe without any moral compass, and our "egalitarian" technocrats are hoping to replace our souls with computer chips. Confusion is rampant, drug addiction and divorce are skyrocketing, and the millennials are drifting into depression while the "wise men" are progressively immersing themselves in the cyber netherworld. The day of reckoning has come, and we must wake up.

This author unequivocally dispels the belief by many that the Church has replaced Israel as God's Chosen People. The Restoration and Redemption of a Remnant of the 12 Tribes of Israel is as solid as the Rock who made the Promise to them. The soon coming Rapture of the Church and what the Church actually is followed by the 70th Week of Daniel is clearly explained. Billions, not millions, will perish during that 7 year period known as The Great Tribulation. Following the Tribulation, Christ will set up His long-promised Kingdom of a 1000 years on planet earth with Jerusalem as His capital. The Church will reign with Him as Kings and Priests. Ones entrance into God's Kingdom through the new birth is a must versus the grave error of the Reformation, such as Baptismal Regeneration. The Dominionist and Reconstructionist Movement's are refuted and exposed as a Satanic deception. This book ends with the New Jerusalem descending all the way down to a New Earth where the saved of all ages and those born of His Spirit will dwell with the Lord forever. Mr. Perry is a former pastor who earned a Masters of Divinity Degree from North American Baptist Seminary in Sioux Falls, SD in 1984. He came to know Christ and was called into the Ministry of His Word in 1979 at the age of 34. He's written two other books: God's Judgment: Regarding Controversial Issues and Do This In Remembrance of Me, The Lost Supper.

In Building Today for a Healthy Tomorrow my goal is to introduce my readers to the reasons many of us are not enjoying the health and vitality we desire to have. Our foods have changed over the past few decades. These changes have incorporated a wide range of chemicals into our foods & environment. Our "fresh" foods may not have the nutrients we expect. These untold numbers of chemicals are everywhere - our food, water, soil and air. We are surrounded by our electronic devices that emit frequencies that can be harmful and change the atmosphere in which we live. There is little we can do about what is in the air around us, but there is a tremendous amount that we can do to take charge of how we care for our body and feed it with the nutrients God provided. Join me in Building Today for a Healthy Tomorrow. Diane Blacker is the author of 10 books - 5 published by Xulon in 2019! "The Spiritual Roots of Abusive Relationships', "Forever Free from the Wounds of Your Past", "Your Forty Day Journey", "Design for Christian Living from Colossians" and now, "Building Today for a Healthy Tomorrow". Diane is a former professional figure skater, taught seminars nationwide, and had a TV show in Chicago, where she was nominated for an Emmy. She was on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ for 10 years and has a B.A. in New Testament. She has 3 grown children and 2 grandsons. She and her husband, Chuck, an Architect and General Contractor live in AZ. When they married in 2009 the family size increased to include his 3 sons and 8 grandchildren. His son Brian Fenimore of Plumbline Ministries wrote the Foreword on Diane's book about abusive relationships.

    185,-

In her singleness, Kelley Asher was dealing with the effects of loneliness and the worlds view of marriage. When she had finally accomplished her goal of getting married, she realized it was still not enough. She knew that the emptiness that needed to be filled could only come from God and true contentment and acceptance of who she was by herself. The loneliness that once caused her so much pain, became the foundation to her realizing her true worth and value. She began to understand that God had given her everything she needed to be happy. She already had a family and the love of her daughters. She had the material things she needed and wanted. But the gentleness, forgiveness, and the intimacy, she would have to find a way to give to herself. She began to fill herself up with the Word of God. She knew this was the only way to have victory over the lies of the enemy about her singleness. She began to seek God on what HE wanted her to do. Kelley set out with a purpose, her purpose, that God revealed to her. Changing the lives of women one story at a time. This book is a composite of short stories both personal and imaginative, designed to resonate and identify with its readers. As the sequel to her first book After the Bed, Kelley hopes this book will also transform, inspire, and encourage her readers throughout their singleness season.

The Diary of an AddictAs the drug goes into my veins, I feel the euphoria. That high I longed for. Now I can talk I can say how I feel, no one can run over me. My heart beats like African drums. No sleep, the high of my mind and thoughts, I am invincible. I want more and more and then; it happens the drop-off as the Earth crumbles under my feet. My high wore off, where did it go. I want more and more, no sleep for days. I can't think, I can't see. My mind is swirling like a whirlpool. I ask why I am doing this. Why do I put myself through this torment? My body is tired, I feel weak. I can't go anywhere I am in prison, what am I doing? Help me, God!

Excerpt: (1) God was either impregnated with Jesus, and He impregnated Mary, thus making God the Father of Jesus, or (2) God took a portion of Himself and impregnated Mary with a son. Both conclusions make God the Father of Jesus. God had no problem getting Israel out of Egypt. God's problem was getting Egypt out of Israel. Because "everything" God made "was "GOOD"; "evil" was created by default! No one is exempt from problems; not even God. God can blink an eye and make them all go away but he doesn't. The first step to a solution is recognizing the problem. A lot of us live in denial our entire lives. We justify ourselves by saying things like "Oh thats' just the way I am"; or "that's the way my father or mother was". Many of us don't recognize we have a problem until we're standing before a judge, or in a hospital, in jail, or just plain beat down. Although our days may be bright as the morning sun; tomorrow we can wake up and find everything gone. Trouble lurks around the corner in all of our lives. As our morning coffee brews; so does our problems if we don't recognize them and nip them in the bud. Otherwise we can easily find ourselves beyond the point of no return.

The stress of going from a businessman's wife to one who is supporting a congregation of different viewpoints can be challenging to say the least. At times, feeling as if Sandra and her husband are trying to turn the Queen Mary around in the Detroit River. Creating fictional characters in a fictional arena is a much easier job. This latest and last of the series A Place to Call Home will finalize the three part series that included The Mochila Saga and Settling on the Frontier all of which followed Jeffrey and Tamara Kane to Lone Tree, Nebraska. Sometimes life can seem like a puzzle. We hold the pieces, but we just can't seem to get them to fit together. God is the Puzzle Master! He can take the broken pieces and shattered dreams of our lives and put them back together again, if we let Him. This is the story of how I came to faith in Jesus Christ and why I will believe forever. This is also the story of how a loving, sovereign God works behind the scenes in our lives to get our attention and draw us unto Himself. Join me, as we discover together a pattern that God uses in everyone's life. For me it all began with a simple statement a friend said to me, "Randy, I believe God is trying to get your attention." I believe that God is trying to get your attention too. Are you listening? "Since my youth, God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds. Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, my God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your mighty acts to all who are to come." I grew up in northern Wisconsin with my parents and three older siblings. Mostly I played outside or drew pictures. I imagined different worlds and tried to become part of them. When thirteen I started writing about different worlds, plots, and characters. Then, seven years of colleges and six years in the army national guard and getting married went by and opportunity rose. My husband supported my hobbies. I could start working part-time, and finish childhood projects. After sixteen years of pursuing these creative works, I was blessed with someone giving me the chance to accomplish them.

This collection of prophecies come from personal encounters the author has had with the Lord, who designated her as an apostolic prophet and shared with her revelations from His heart about His Bride, the Church. The author hopes these proclamations from God will inspire the desire to draw closer to God, seek out His will, repent and prepare for the coming return of Jesus. Each prophecy stands firm in scriptural truth, mirroring several of God's declarations shared within the Bible. This is a powerful, moving presentation of the Father's heart towards us.
