However, her quest leads her to realizations she never knew were possible. God's hand is in all we do. The hardest part is recognizing it is happening. Sometimes, it just takes the help of a friend to point it out. Monica receives that help in the most unlikely place-a dressing room mirror. "I was awakened by God and told to write," the author says. "I got up and started typing. After 7 years, the novel God put in my heart was completed. It changed my life and perspective." Her hope is to let everyone know that they don't need to be perfect to receive God's love. All it takes is a willing heart. Through Monica's journey, she was able to see God's hand in her own life. Author confesses "I had made plans for my life but God had plans too. As I struggled to achieve what I thought was 'the dream', my life took turns and twists. Some were good but some were bad. I made good and bad choices. I suffered with anger, insecurity, and sadness. I felt unloved even when others said they loved me. This novel was an adventure that allowed me to uncover the source of my unhappiness. I pray it does the same for the readers." Although, this is a fictional story, the characters are inspirational for all.

  • av Crawford G Clark
    259,-

Millions of people go to work every day. It doesn't matter what profession in which a person finds themselves; they are earning a living, so they say. Hopefully they are doing what they love to do. The average worker spends almost 6 days per week at work while spending less than 6 hours per week with family. With such a disparity between the two, what should be happening in the workplace, especially as believers? In this book, we will discover that God uses the workplace in our lives not just to earn a living, but to live life. The life that is lived is to be one through Christ in the workplace. Relationships play a major role in the workplace and, since so much time is spent there, God wants to use it as a mechanism of transformation in our lives. Dr. Clark delves into the many areas of our lives that touches us in the workplace. Some of those areas we might not even consider to be impacted by the workplace. Through his exploration of Genesis, we are able to see where work originated and why work is necessary in our lives besides just for making money. Some of the subjects that will be explored are: self-awareness; understanding people; dealing with difficult people; anger in the workplace; standing alone; being a team player; is there a difference between secular and Christian work for the believer; stress, self-care; and a new way of looking at work. As believers, God's job is to shape us into the image of His Son. He desires that the process occurs on a continual basis. That means God uses the workplace as part of His plan to accomplish that desire. As we yield to the Spirit of God in the workplace, our lives are tremendously impacted, as well as the lives of those around us. As we yield to the Spirit of God in the workplace, He uses us as a light to shine in the darkness as well as using the darkness to reveal the absence of light in our lives. As we go to our places of employment, we will learn through the pages of this book how to allow God to transform our lives so that our lives might be used as a conduit for God to transform others.

    av Steve Qualls

Have you ever had someone say you're not good enough? have you allowed labels to be placed on you as identity markers? You are more than the labels you carry or the past you hold onto. You are more than who they say you are. Stop qualifying yourself out of, What God is qualifying you into You can't change who you were or what you did or how you were raised. It doesn't matter what platform you started with, the only thing that matters is the platform God is building for you now. It's not always the biggest guy that wins the fight or event strongest runner that wins the race, it's the one who envisions the win and sees the victory when everyone else may see fear. So you're the one that envisions the victory but there's no race for you to run. You're the one who looks over the fence and thinks in his heart, "there's more." You have a learning disability. You're too old, too young. too much distorted past and disqualifying history. The heart of a winner resides in the spirit of the pace horse. God can do more through you in an instant with one percent of his planning than you can accomplish in a lifetime with a hundred percent of your own. It's time to partner with the Lord and dream big. The world is coming to an end, anytime soon, and ICT will strongly be involved in the process, according to Bible prophecies. ICT will change people, permanently, and it is not a coincidence. The Devil is behind it, and God will be after him to punish the vice, which will lead to the end of the world. A few years ago, it was unimaginable that the Revelation 13:16-17, concerning the deployment of the mark of the beast, 666, would ever be fulfilled. It's already happening - electronic objects are being inserted into people's hands and heads, for smarter ways of carrying out normal operations. Sometimes we fear the mark of the beast, 666, without really understanding the dangers that are associated with it, and why the Devil is obsessed with it. The danger is more in its objective than in the mark itself. However, ICT is not a bad idea per se. ICT is a very good development to the society. It has brought a lot more benefits and wealth, as well as easier and more efficient ways of doing things, than at any other time in history. Indeed, it is the Fourth Industrial Revolution. The world has never had impact-making technological breakthroughs as in the era of ICT. The only problem is that it provides a perfect infrastructure that Satan will leverage to deploy the 666 mark. About the Author Dr. Donart Ngarambe has a PhD in Computer Engineering, and he has been a researcher and scholar in IT for 17 years. Dr. Donart Ngarambe has been born again since 1982, and he is the author of "The Inexhaustible Wealth the World Knows Little About".

Matt Zampolos is only finishing up his third year as an agent and he is the number one target of the Prince of Darkness, who will move world events, armies, and trick the most powerful to spring a trap that will end in the dusting of Yahlandice's newest celebrity. Unfortunately, he is also known for being the son of a Senior Dark Agent too, who happens to be the right-hand man of the Prince of Darkness. They both have Matt in their sights. The Dark Agents have been ambushing and harassing Agents of Light with no obvious goal other than to keep everyone anxious and watchful. They have been pushing the boundaries of the agent's Prime Directive to not have conflicts in the presence of people. Something is up and no one at Camp Omega or even The Three can figure it out. As Matt is growing in his love for every member of his team, he is developing a close friendship with Jane Marie, one of the new editions to his team. She looks like she's his age, but she's three centuries older than Matt and in a good position to be a mentor as well as a friend. In The Yahlandice Protocol, the anxiety and warnings turn into open warfare and when the Agents of Light do full battle with the Agents of Darkness, it's like nothing on earth. • - You are loved, always have been, always will be!
    av Dena Griffin
    175,-

Do you ever wish that you could write a letter to the child you were, so that you could let them know about some of the things you have learned? Do you wish that the child you were could know some of the things you know now? I have often wished that I was able to do that very thing! Some people have a hard time believing that they are loved. This can sometimes be caused by things that happened to them in childhood. If a child does not feel loved, it is often difficult for the adult they eventually become to feel loved. This is something that is very hard to overcome. Believe me, I know. I know because I am speaking from experience! But it CAN be overcome, and you CAN begin to believe that you are loved. The book which you are now holding in your hands is a 21-day devotional which aims to help you go back in time and tell the child in you that you were loved. You were loved then, you are loved now, and you always will be loved! If you are willing to go on a journey with me for 21 days, I will do my best to help you learn that you are loved more than you could even begin to imagine. I have been on the road of learning to believe this myself, and I would absolutely love for you to join me so that we could travel down this road together. Life is always better with a friend by your side.

  • - A true story of God teaching his disciple obedience
    av Rick Russ
    255,-

Rick Russ has a heart of gold and reading I Will Stand At My Watch tells you why. He tells the story of inmates such as Robert Frasier who went from incarceration as a seven-time loser to being an ordained minister, but later came to a sad ending; of the humbling experience of washing the feet of prisoners while they read from the book of Psalms; and the ultimate experience of baptizing former non-believer inmates into the brotherhood of Christ. Whatever thoughts you may have had concerning the worth of those caught-up in our criminal justice system, after reading this book you may very well look at it from a different perspective. "If any one of you is without sin..." (John 8:7) The stories continue as he writes of his ministry to those chained in bondage to age and infirmity in nursing homes; those elderly "angels" often taught him more than he was expecting. "Lord, when did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?" (Matthew 25:39) D. Crawford Gallimore Senior Advisor Finance and Risk Management The Hamilton-Ryker Company

Read on as Sylvia reveals how obedience to God benefits the person not God; how faith is only the beginning of a lifelong walk with the Lord; how rest in God quiets the overwhelming, never-ending internal struggle; how identifying with Christ's accomplishments through water baptism and Holy Spirit baptism brings about joy, and how holding onto God brings hope. Truly, every person needs a Savior.

    av Feltina L Holmes
    355,-

I didn't have an illness, disorder or a disease. It was an accident. It's not who I am. It's called a concussion--a result of a brain injury. The thoughts that flooded my mind. The pain that overwhelmed my body, uncontrolled movement of my hands, my feet, and the shaking of my knee. The headaches that would not stop. Why would I want to make this up? I wasn't in control of how my body and mind had rapidly changed because of the concussion. The non-stop cycle of "what ifs" had to end. The feeling of "my life is over" had to stop. It was no longer a matter of who didn't understand me or reaching the limit of medical assistance. It was my decision to choose to acknowledge the impact of the injury and manage my responses to the physical and psychological changes (the physical pain, depression, and anxiety) and stop them from redefining who I am. The recovery path of a traumatic brain injury is parallel to personal salvation. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says, "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." I am not the same person I was prior to giving my life to Christ, and my life is not the same as it was before my injury. I'm ready to get back to living my life. My injury was only a small part of my life. The doctor appointments and therapy have come to an end, and my injury is no longer my center focus. My faith and counseling proved to be the winning combination to finding my path to total healing.

In this true story, Karen Sacchetti writes of a magical and devastating time in her life that began as a thrilling love connection. Searching for love, Karen met Peter, a handsome charmer living in South Florida. After only four months of a long-distance relationship, Peter asked her to leave Rhode Island and move fourteen hundred miles to marry him. Soon after arriving in sunny Boca Raton, Karen realized that her dream was turning into a nightmare. Plagued by Peter's alcoholism, womanizing, and incessant attention seeking, their fairy-tale romance quickly spun out of control, leaving Karen alone and disheartened. Her only confidant was Mike--Peter's younger brother. Although Mike proved to be Peter's polar opposite, giving her the love and loyalty she sought, Karen soon experienced new challenges, this time with the love of her life. Her journey provides the reader with a piercing view of the ravaging and destructive effects of Mike's alcohol addiction and how their lives intertwined in a most unusual love story. Through all the adversity, Karen learned to press more deeply into God's strength to see her through each day. When none of her friends or family members saw the darkness surrounding her, God knew what she was facing daily. Karen not only unveils the details of the dark maze she was in, but illuminates how God's promises were fulfilled in her life. She received unconditional love from an all-loving Father, God. Could she extend the same love and grace to those who had hurt and betrayed her?
