  • - 23 Truths That Validate Your Call
av Tim Johnson & Karen Johnson
    179,-

Being a Pastor is a big deal! It is supposed to be. Because it is, the devil takes great pleasure in trying to minimize our effectiveness. And he does a great deal of that work inside our own mind and spirit. The purpose of this book is to share some of our experiences in hopes that some of the problems we faced can help others in similar situations to know that they are not "the only ones". We also hope that church members may gain some insights into their pastor and the struggles he or she faces. The picture we hope we paint for you is that you are not the problem. The people of your church are not the problem. But the devil wants to use the people of your church to make you think you're the problem, so he can thwart whatever good God is doing through you. And God is using you. You are doing some good. You are making a difference. You are a real pastor. We hope and pray that you receive a blessing from the Lord through this work. Be on the lookout for our next book.

  • - and the Great Tribulation.
    av Fred V Squillante
    279

God's message has been clear from Genesis to Revelation. In Genesis He chose Moses to lead the Israelites out from 400 years of bondage in Egypt. He gave them the law at Mt. Sinai and chose Joshua to lead them into the Promised Land and the city of Jerusalem. They were led by judges but the people rebelled. Rejecting God as their king, they instead wanted a king like all the other peoples of the land. After Kings Saul, David, and Solomon the kingdom was split into Israel and Judah (through which is the line of Christ). Throughout, the people would build altars and worship strange gods. This was considered harlotry. God sent prophets to warn the people and lead them back to the law but they killed the prophets instead, so God came in judgment against them. When they continued in their idolatrous harlotry, He sent His Son. When they killed Him too, God came in judgment against them again. In Revelation, we see the harlot portrayed as a woman on a beast. That woman, thrown down, in whom was found the blood of the saints and of the witnesses of Jesus, is the city of Jerusalem, epitomized by the Temple. A Reformed Presbyterian and small-group leader, Fred Squillante has been a student of the Bible and the subject of eschatology for thirty-five years. Mr. Squillante is retired and lives with his wife in Florida. They have five children and three grandchildren.

God put this book on my heart in 2017. He basically showed me exactly how he wanted it with testimonies and as I started to write he started to download these scriptures in the book. God was speaking to me about his people are hungry for more of him. He wants to use this book to encourage or confirm that it's okay to receive everything he wants for us. The gift of Tongues and a deeper relationship with him. If that's you, you must submit to his will. We must follow Jesus where he is calling us to. If we suffer, we shall also reign with him. If we deny him, he also will deny us. If we died with him, we will also live with him. If we are faithless, he remains faithful. For he cannot disown himself.

  • - DEVOTIONALS WHICH WILL DRAW YOU TO THE NEAR SIDE OF GOD Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. James 4:8 [KJV]
    av Winfred Huff
    385,-

ENDORSEMENT Winfred, the author, has written a series of daily devotionals which are intended to draw the reader to the "Near Side" of God. He has taken every day events and placed them alongside spiritual truths to make for a compelling reading. His application of truth is plain and simple and calls for a closer walk with the Heavenly Father. His approach is an ideal way to see in daily situations a way in which the Father's plan unfolds. His heart is for each Christian to have a daily quite time; and in doing so, each day can become a tranquil voice heard above the din of noise the world generates. David Fisher--Senior Pastor of First Baptist Church Haynesville, Georgia Is a daily quiet time that important? I would say, "Yes, it is." We are taught in the scriptures the significance of drawing near to God. Every day becomes an opportunity to have an intimate time with the Lord. Whether it be in the morning, at noonday, or at night, each moment is a turning point to heed the call of the Holy Spirit to come into the presence of the Lord. In the "Near Side" daily devotional, each day is spelled out with a challenge to take a look at life and see God in the minute details. He has a plan and purpose for life, and He invites us to come boldly but humbly before His throne of grace and find help in time of need. Join me in the journey that will take us through an entire year of encouragement and sustainment. Winfred has been in the gospel ministry for 43 years. He was ordained in July of 1976. He has served churches in the Middle Georgia area over the course of those years. He has an earned Associate Degree in Divinity from Brewton Parker College. He currently serves as the Associate Pastor at the First Baptist Church of Haynesville, Georgia. Known for his love of words, he has taken the gift of writing and used it to challenge Christians to have a closer relationship with God. His challenge is to move people into a deeper understanding of the Word of God.

TESTIMONIES FOR PRAYING GODS WORD Praying God's Word is the most effective book I know to stimulate and guide God's people into praying. Praying God's Word's author has taken the most important reasons to pray and listed them, then, provided Bible verses touching that problem for readers to pray. This simple format is powerful! I have distributed many of these books to people with prison ministries. The result? Many testimonies thanking God for answered prayers. The author is a Timothy Program International student who received this idea from studying the "Pray God's Word" portion of the TPI curriculum. The Timothy Program International has distributed Praying God's Word to all of its campuses worldwide. If you desire to improve your prayer life, I recommend Praying God's Word. Karl D. Coke, Ph. D. Chancellor Timothy Program International Is there a "method" to facilitate praying? So often people express a fear of praying simply because "they don't know how." This prayer book is a marvelous tool to assist people in their prayer life. The best prayers use God's Word as well as our own. One can easily find God's Word for various circumstances and needs neatly organized in this book. This book will strengthen your prayer life and deepen your relationship with Our Father in Heaven. Linda Richardson, Bible Study Teacher This book motivates and inspires me to "personalize" my relationship with the Lord. Learning to Pray Gods Word emphasizes our dependence on His Power! Speaking aloud a verse motivates us to look into surrounding scripture to see the whole picture. This book Is a workbook that will train one to talk with our Father, cry out to Him, and essentially yearning to always come to Him. • - A twenty year journey through doubt and singleness to find faith, God and marriage.
    av G T Saliga
    245

WHY GOD? So you believe in God - but why does he seem absent by not giving you a spouse? Why would a kind creator constantly frustrate your best dreams in life? And whether you are just starting your walk of faith, or have gone far with God...this failure to find a spouse can leave you desolate. Much Christian literature on being a single either assumes you are somewhere just out of college, or are living in Victorian times. This book takes the reader on journey of a Christian single living for two decades in secular metropolitan Boston. G.T. Saliga dives into all the struggles, heartaches and philosophical wanderings you can go through in today's society. This book partly offers reflections on the spiritual meaning of Christian message for singles today, and partly tells the two decade story of the author who discovered these truths while working through loneliness and near loss of faith. This reflective memoir is filled with romance, frustration, heartbreak, theology, humor, and philosophy...as the author fights to find God's answers. Ultimately the greatest lesson is learned by radical dependence on faith to resolve this dilemma. Are you there God? Because I'm still single, offers great encouragement for any struggling Christian and ultimately encourages the believer to find answers in a deeper relationship with Christ.

  • - How Women Can Tell If They Are In A Narcissistic Relationship
    av Vivian I Potter
    175,-

Although more awareness of narcissistic abuse has come to the forefront in more recent years, there are still an untold amount of women worldwide who have not even heard of narcissism, much less recognize they are in such a relationship. They look at their partner through 'normal' eyes, when in reality many of these partners may be suffering from Narcissistic Personality Disorder. These women prove to be in denial when they give their partners the benefit of the doubt and make excuses for their bad behaviors. Sadly, these women have been treated in such a belittling way that they lose all self confidence in their abilities, potential, and even their appearance. They start to believe the lies their partners tell them about themselves. Since this type of abuse has become so widespread, and being a former victim myself, my heart truly goes out to these women who feel trapped in their relationships after allowing themselves to be changed into someone she can no longer recognize. Thus, with God's guidance, I have developed a 5-step faith-based program to not only educate each woman on narcissism and its components gaslighting and lack of emotional intelligence, but a step-by-step process to alter thought patterns, emotions and actions in order to produce more positive outcomes, regardless if the woman wishes to stay in the relationship or not. My goal is not only for each woman to be able to recognize and engage in healthy, reciprocal relationships, but to also realize her value in God's eyes. She must realize she has a unique purpose given to her by God Himself that must be accomplished for His glory and her joy, especially as she takes her place in His Kingdom!

When you hear the word give, does it provoke thoughts or feelings of annoyance? There are far too many situations where people test the boundaries of our compassion and willingness to aid and assist in numerous ways. It is not all about money.Giving is a lifestyle, which should be considered all inclusive, but the worldly influences tend to place mental restraints or limitations to freely engage in practice, and most importantly, the principles associated. What do you think you would do if Jesus said to you? “Sell all that you have, and distribute it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.”What motivates you to give?• When there is a desperate need.• Out of Guilt, or a compulsion to do so. • When it is for a worthy cause.• When you trust in the entity or person(s).• Because those whom you know gave. This book will not only challenge you, but broaden and even alter your perspective on God’s methods of operating His Kingdom principles through you and those you love.
