I have placed my "pastor's ponderings" in this book as a result of the encouragement of friends and acquaintances. The premise and hope of this devotional book are that it will facilitate a deeper spiritual walk for all who read it. Each devotional was developed by relating everyday objects or activities to our spiritual lives, with the intent of keeping them simple enough so that even a child could understand them. Each devotional encourages the reader to be a better Christian, to attend church more regularly, to study the Bible more, or to grab hold of some other spiritual insight or discipline. It is my desire that this book will be used by the Holy Spirit to enlighten the readers of their spiritual weaknesses in order to be brought closer to God. If this happens, I will consider it a success. For you are saved by grace through faith, and this is not from yourselves; it is God's gift. Ephesians 2:8

Anthony Diamandi was born in Key West and also lived in Daytona Beach Florida. He has been writing short stories, songs and poems most of his life and has received a Navy Achievement Medal for writing articles in the Skywriter Newspaper, Atsugi Japan. He was also stationed on Aircraft Carriers, USS Abraham Lincoln and USS Nimitz where he embarked on five deployments including operations in support of Iraqi Freedom campaign and Banda Aceh Tsunami relief. Most of his experiences in the Navy have either indirectly or directly influenced the writing of Letters in Vessels. Anthony currently resides in Seattle Washington with his son Tony.

Oh, you peoples, and inhabitants of the great planet Earth. There is a plea going out to you. God's creation is speaking to you. This collection of thoughts, memories and life lessons is to comprise the author's memoir of the experiences he's had in his life that defined his life and faith. Wallie the Whale Learns to Make Friends is about a lonesome whale that thinks he is King of the Sea. He doesn't care what the other sea creatures think of him. He soon learns he has no friends. The others even thought of him as a bully. After meeting someone just like him, Willow teaches him how to smile and ask others about their day. She taught him to be healthy and clean. Wallie changed his attitude and now has friends. We can learn that with a few, small changes, we can make friends, too. Amy LeAnne McManus was born in Dothan, Alabama. She moved to Milton, Florida where her dad was the principal and her mom was a teacher of a small Christian school. Since the fourth grade, her goal in life was always to do hair and makeup, even though she attended Pensacola Christian College and Bob Jones University to study elementary education. As she was recovering from breast cancer in Spring of 2019, she dreamed she was fussing with an unknown man to write a book about a whale. She argued back saying it would be about a llama. In three weeks, she woke up at 12:26am, having the entire book written in her head. She believes God gave her the dream to help small children through character building books. I discovered that the spiritual philosophy of Osteopathic Medicine was contrary to my Christian faith... "There is no question as to whether there can be a spiritual element within osteopathic medical care," writes one of the representatives of the American Osteopathic Association (AOA). "A core tenet of osteopathic medicine is that: 'The body is a unit; the person is a unit of body, mind, and spirit.'" Finally, there was acknowledgement that osteopathy had its own spirituality. This was a happy moment for me reading those words in November of 2014. There really is no question. There is and can be a spiritual element in osteopathic medical care. I spent two years trying to get the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) to understand I could not be one of their members because the philosophy and practice of osteopathy was spiritual. By being a member of the AOA and practicing osteopathic principles, I would be violating my own religious beliefs. It was a wonderful moment when they got it. Now the question was, would they accommodate me and find a way for me to renounce osteopathic religious spiritual thought and keep my allopathic/scientific (traditionally called MD) medical training. The answer was a resounding no! Each year, there are nearly a million people who commit suicide, with anywhere between ten million to twenty million attempting. About thirty thousand people each year in the United States kill themselves. The most tragic part of these statistics is that suicide is often preceded by serious depression, which is a treatable disorder. It is because of these saddening statistics that author Kingsley Nwokoma seeks to share with those facing thoughts of suicide the amazing grace of God and His Son, Jesus Christ. The world is filled with people who have good or even great intentions about the things they would like to do and who they would like to become. But good intentions are never enough to change your life. Overweight people have good intentions about losing weight. Unemployed people have good intentions about getting a job. A cheating husband or wife have good intentions about quitting the affair. Yet for all of these good intentions, these individuals are still where they are; while hoping to get to where they desire to be, all the while wondering how to get out of the rut. The answer is in moving from good intentions to Intentional living. In Joshua Chapter one verse 8, God tells Joshua "If you observe to DO whatsoever I have commanded you, then you shall make your way prosperous and have good success." / DESIRE / DECISION/ DELIBERATE ACTION/ DISCIPLINE.

Pray, Believing may best be summed up in the words of Jesus Christ as recorded by St. Mark 11.24 "Therefore I tell you, whatsoever ye ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours". These words also found in the Gospels of St. Matthew and St. John are also found in the catholic letters of St. John and St. James, and are evidence of its importance to God for its pleasing attributes and to the Christian who seeks that faith which moves mountains. When embraced the Christian prayer is empowered with the awesome, humbling gift of service to God, to one's neighbors, and to one's self. However, besides his technical studies his interests have always been history and literature. Early in his life he wrote several poems and various short theaters plays. She is developing a character "MizKriz" similar to Momma Mable from the 1950. Miss Williams is the proud and devoted mother of Insa Lenora, Matthew Emmanuel, Evangela Christiana and Zyna Quebecca. And she is an ever-so proud grandmother of Alysha Antionette, Semajia LaSha, ZHana-Marie, Dyral Elijah, Destiny RoseMary and Desarae Christina Dorthy. She enjoys traveling, the beaches, cooking, painting, photograph shooting, writing, adventures, dancing/playing with kids, hugging.
