Victory in the Valley is a very personable book of poetry that helped me through some of my darkest moments. When there was a loss of a loved one, financial and health issues or those times I just did not feel that God was with me. I felt out of the ark of safety and alone. It''s easy to glorify God when things are going well. But can you acknowledge Him when faced with shattered dreams and broken promise? As I pour out in this book allow it to minister to the broken parts of you so that healing can begin. Shunda Johnson is a native of Cincinnati, Oh. She is an instrument used by God to touch the hearts of those who need encouragement. She is called upon for poetry readings at events to shed light and give hope. Her first book of poetry "Be Encouraged" provides comfort to readers. She has been published in Praise magazine, as well as several famous poet''s anthologies. She was a Diamond Homer Award nominee for her poem titled "Where I Live." The story she tells through her poetry leaves the reader uplifted and aware that God loves them. Shunda loves to teach, motivate and empower others. She is the mother of four and nana of three. Her favorite scripture is Romans 8:1 because the world can call you guilty but the blood of Jesus sets you free.

The reason you are interested in this book is either because you have experienced childhood trauma or want to help someone who has. This is not a book to read but a journey to complete. I didn''t write it to help you understand childhood trauma but to help you do something about it. More is shared about the solution to trauma rather than the problem. The workbook is designed to help you identify your trauma and make sure you are processing it biblically. You will be surprised at how God''s Word will apply directly to the personal areas of your life. I called this a workbook for a reason. It takes work to admit and face your negativity, fantasies, bitterness, anger, doubt, self-pity, and self-centeredness.Overcoming the effects of childhood trauma are possible as you trust in the promises of God and properly apply his wisdom to your life. Rick is on staff with Pacific Youth Correctional Ministries and has been working with troubled youth since 1981. He is an ordained minister and certified correctional chaplain. Each week he conducts church services, bible studies, and one on one counseling sessions at three probation facilities and provides aftercare within the community.

After high school Sylvia married the love of her life Charles Hall. During the 70''s Sylvia was hired as a school community liaison to help resolve racial tensions. At age 45 having raised eight children, seven sons and one daughter she decided to go to nursing school. As we well know life is filled with many challenges, her mother developed severe cardiac problems and her son, actor Kevin Peter Hall (Predator & Predator 2 and Harry and the Hendersons) was diagnosed with AIDS. Her time was spent traveling back and forth from Pittsburgh to Los Angeles. After her son and mother died she hit an emotional and spiritual low. It was then, she drew upon her love for writing to express her wide range of emotions. It was her faith in God and her desire to share with others that inspired her to write this book.

The greatest love story ever told began in the Garden of Eden. A holy God (Father, Son and Holy Spirit) created Adam and Eve in His own image, yet Adam and Eve disobeyed and sinned against Him. Sin destroyed their relationship with God; therefore, they could no longer live in God''s presence. Today, sin continues to cause a divide between God and the people He created, stopping us from living a fulfilled life that has meaning and purpose. Thankfully, God has an answer and I pray you find encouragement, hope and God''s blueprint for salvation in the pages of this book. The wages of sin is death and sin must be paid for. Either God must pay, or we must pay; no third person can pay for our sin. In His blueprint, God pays the penalty for our sin through Jesus Christ and returns holiness to our spirit, mind and body so we can again live and enjoy God''s presence. This great love story begins in Genesis and concludes in the book of the Revelation as man re-enters God''s presence. Join me and countless others on this journey and experience God''s Blueprint for Salvation. Fred Parker Baker graduated from Mount Olive University, Mount Olive, NC and Columbia International University, Columbia, SC. In 1978, he and his family relocated to the island of Palawan in the Republic of the Philippines as missionaries. Serving as the Philippine Field Director, he co-founded Palawan Bible College for training pastors and church planters. In 1991, Fred and his family returned to the U.S. where he pastored Roberts Grove Original Free Will Baptist (OFWB) Church at Spivey''s Corner, NC for 22 years. He also served the OFWB denomination in many roles, including two terms as president of the OFWB Convention. Retiring in 2013, Rev. Baker continues to serve his God as an interim pastor to churches in need. He enjoys reading, researching, writing, teaching, playing with his eight grandchildren and being Linda''s handyman.

I once read that Aristotle asserted that poetry was more important than history. With that premise, Camille Calls is a book of poetry about a generation during the years of a foreign war. One of the actors on this stage says, "Poems shine new light on what we thought we knew."In a way this book is dedicated to that generation, though I am only one voice of that generation and my characters on the stages of this book number only a few.In another sense this book is dedicated to you, you who read this book, who hear sounds and songs of Pacific and Hawai''i and a submarine, who dream of a plunge into Pacific surf, who smell rain and ocean and plumeiria, who read and listen. When people listen, they open hearts and souls to whoever is calling. So, listen, because Camille calls. The author was raised and educated in Hawai"i, and has lived in California for 50 years. Most importantly, his high school years and college years were spent in the 1960''s, a decade of war and peace, faith and religion, human rights, environmental consciousness, and love. Married in 1968, the author and wife have 6 children and 5 grandchildren. The author is inspired by the spirit of Hawai''i, as described by the Reverend Akaka in 1959, "When a people or person live in the spirit of aloha, they live in the spirit of God."

Crazy Doesn''t Just Disappear...Not long ago, my husband was talking with our son on the phone. He was using the speakerphone. I heard my son ask, "What is Mom up to?" His reply? "Working on seven steps to get your sh** together." Well, that''s one way to describe the NdestructibleΓäó 7 R.E.N.E.W.A.L. process outlined in this book! When my son was in elementary school, there were times when he made the usual mistakes that kids make. Sometimes when this happened, his father would ask him what was wrong. His downtrodden yet responsible reply: "I got off the railroad tracks."We all get off track at times in our lives. We all have experienced wrecks, gotten broken down, and have had clean-up to do. NdestructibleΓäó 7 gives us those key foundational targets that can help us improve ourselves and our situations. The theory behind NdestructibleΓäó 7 is: "If we change, things will change!" Our seven targets equip us for life''s battles ahead. My hope is that you will protect yourself better, recover from anything life throws at you, and be better equipped to fight for yourself and those around you. NdestructibleΓäó 7 is a gift to you so you can "armor up" and optimize the coming chapters of your life.Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. Matthew 5:14-16You are a light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead, they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heavenEven when the storm comes in full force, and it is very, very dark, and there is no source to light your candle, you are still an ambassador of Christ. How do you light your candle when you are totally empty of all your strength, numb and hurting? "How, Lord, how?" you cry out! The Eternal Light is your source, Jesus is your source. Cry out and ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with his Power, Love and Sound Mind. (2Tim. 1:7)"Are you ready, with your candle lit, to bring home those you love? "Leave it in the past", I tell my daughters, "The past can mold and shape us, but it should not consume us." What shakes our faith? Who walks with us? This is the story of the important things and people in my life who have helped make me who I am today as a wife, mother, and daughter. Come journey with me through my experiences through the valleys and mountains. I have walked with God, away from God, and many times had to surrender to God and let him take control. I have learned how that time flashes as a blink of the eye and prayer is the only way to climb from the valley to the mountaintop. If I can give to you one thing it is this book of encouragement. That is what I hope I have accomplished through the writing of this book. I want to encourage you, the reader. I want you to see that everyone has struggles. It''s how we handle those struggles that really count. What time is it for you right now? Embrace it. It is but a steppingstone in the molding and shaping of our lives. Do you find yourself in the valleys or on the mountaintops? Wherever it may be, God is there. As Tracy Dartt wrote in his song, "The God on the mountain is still God in the valley." It doesn''t matter where you are, God is there to carry you. I am Amanda Baker Seal. I am a preacher''s kid of ten years. I love music and writing. I was inspired to write when I started to see others struggle with some of the same things I do. I wrote this book to help others.

This book is about the Lord and how we find that we as people and believers are more alike than we are not. There are so many ways that we as people differ and more ways we are alike. We all are made in the image of God. God gives me the Titles and shows me where to study and research for my books, my third book He gave me dreams and visions, all my life I have dreamed and He gave me Visions. He told me to put it in a book. So my third book is Dreams and Visions. I love to share God's Holy Word and Love with all my brothers and sisters in Christ. The Lord's Inspiration gives me hope to give to others, we are in the "Last days" we had better be ready! Please read and study with me. My prayer is that everyone will want to know The God we serve better and seek His face. These are the "Last days" we have better be ready. I, Evangelist Mary A. Lucas was born in Detroit Michigan. My Mother and Father have gone to glory, but my family, brother, sister and the rest of my family still live there. I have 1 Son and 1 daughter. I also have lots of grandchildren and lots of great grandchildren, they still live in Detroit. I started writing years ago in high school. Writing my feelings in my diary then I just stop. Later on the job one day the Lord said write your testimony and I said "now" the Lord said yes. I started writing again and I couldn't stop, so I said I have found my niche. I love writing, I have written 3 books and this is my fourth book. I'm an Evangelist in the written Word of God, a student of the Word; the written instruction of God how to live in this world.
