Psaumes 1-41 2. Psames 42-72 3. Psaumes 73-89 4. Psaumes 90-106 5. Trauma, the nation's epidemic, and mainstream culture's hot topic. Our Broken Brains: The Human Condition highlights modern-day trauma therapy alongside real-life stories of the complexities of psychological trauma. Within a traumatic experience, the human brain becomes physiologically damaged, leaving one underdeveloped, bruised, hijacked, and deficient, creating a hostile mental pathology to future events. Subsequently, humanity can no longer trust itself. Regardless of age, gender, socioeconomic status, or sexual orientation, anyone may have sagas that create a broken brain or an impaired mental state. Within a broken brain, our brain and body connections collapse, and our responses result in an emotional tempest of spiraling mental health, pervasive feelings of shame, overcompensation, avoidance, and destructive behaviors. Mentally recreating or dismissing painful events manipulates the brain's senses, causing the person to become emotionally sidelined. Therefore, living in painful episodes of the past. Broken brains create personal mental deficiencies while decreasing individual productivity and escalating poor social patterns. Unfortunately, too many have learned to function daily with trauma's brokenness. Overcoming brokenness requires building a healthy social and emotional ecosystem while increasing emotional intelligence to develop and reconstruct each integral part of life. This book will guide you to heal from traumas' brokenness and expand your mission of constructing a healthy self and space for wholeness and wellness.

The Dr. Ruth Temple Health Center located at 3834 S. Western Ave., Los Angeles, California, stands as a tribute to a remarkable woman physician, educator, and public health practitioner who slept in a chicken coop for years in order to provide badly needed health care services to Los Angeles' minority populations. When young, Ruth wanted to be a nurse unaware that women could be doctors. When she learned there were two women doctors working with Dr. John Harvey Kellogg she enrolled in Loma Linda University graduating as the first female African American physician in California. Dr. Ruth began a private practice and specialized in obstetrics and gynecology. Author DeWitt S. Williams recounts her journey to become the Director of Public Health for Los Angeles and the pioneering programs she implemented to bring health to the hurting and sick. Long before social awareness called attention to the special medical needs of poor people, Ruth Temple enrolled in the School of Medicine at the College of Medical Evangelists (now Loma Linda University). As a determined young African American focused on service, her eye never wavered from her dream. She set up practice in the poorest areas of Los Angeles and eventually became a moving influence throughout the entire city, creating public health awareness and a health system that served millions. Dr. Williams' recounting of this remarkable life is long overdue, and Dr. Temple's life continues to serve as a model for us all. Richard H. Hart, MD, DrPH President and Chief Executive Officer Loma Linda University Health

Max Hawkins a former Staff Sergeant in the US Army and was called to serve in Vietnam; the Lord protected and brought me home in one peace. After an honorably discharged from the U.S. Army, I was employed at the General Electric Co. for 20 years and 3 months. First of all I think God for looking beyond my faults and seeing my needs, God never gave up by continuing to reminding me that I needed to be saved. One day as I was traveling on Volusia Avenue in Daytona Beach, Florida. God spoke the words of eternal life to me and ask what would happen if I died of a heart attack, as you know that can be fatal, and without warning. I broke out in a cold sweat because I knew what the end would be for my Soul, I was a sinner. But praise be to God for not giving up on me, I confessed and accepted Jesus Christ as my personal savior. Jesus wonderfully saved and filled me with the Holy Ghost. I attended the American School of the Bible. God inspired me to write this training manual for all that wish to be taught the truth of the gospel. In 1985 I was appointed pastor of the Madison Heights Church of God In Christ. We built a new edifice in 1996 and continued to be blessed by the Lord. Shekinah Glory Ministries was founded, and we have been blessed and prospering in the Word and Soul winning. Thanks be unto God, for He deserves all of the Glory. "It is not taboo to go back and fetch what you forgot." The West African concept of "Sakofa" teaches us that in order to understand our future, we must go back to examine our past. In this process, we discover that everything that has been lost can be found again. In this compelling book, author Kwamane O. Harris discusses how we can apply this principle in our lives and use it to propel ourselves as well as future generations into a better and brighter future. Pushing the Generations Forward by Kwamane O. Harris, MBA, CPLC is an inspiring book which delves deep into issues including spirituality, racism, oppression, mental health, purpose, growth and fixed mindsets, brain science, and resilience. In the book, the author shares how the mentality of pushing the generations forward saved his life, allowing him to adopt a mindset and see life outside of himself, one outside of generational trauma, poverty, depression, and systemic racism and oppression. The mindset of pushing the generations forward provided Kwamane with purpose that helped him persevere through the challenges of life, and it will do the same for readers. Through his words, he emphasizes that we must survive because the next generation is counting on us. It is up to us to make the world a better place for them, and in doing so, we will find the purpose and fulfilment we have been searching for. As the recipient of the Utah's Business Magazine Top 20 in their 20's award, Kwamane's life has been devoted to helping others in some way. Kwamane has been supporting at risk youth and families for the last 15 years, and he has a proven ability to engage youth and families through advocacy, civic engagement, and evidence-based prevention programming. Most recently, Kwamane worked with the United Nations Civil Society Youth Committee that led outreach initiatives for the 68th Civil Society Conference, which was attended by 2,000 representatives from more than 500 civil society organizations from over 100 countries. Broken but Not Destroyed is the third installment in the struggles in dealing with adversity in our daily lives naturally and spiritually. How Can I Escape represents the author's testimony of hardship from an abusive marriage, homelessness, and illness and how she wanted to escape it. However, instead of running away from her trials and tribulation, she ran to God, who taught her to endure, persevere, and triumph by being steadfast and faithful in her relationship with him. The second book entitled Enemy in the Mirror: A Journey Worth Fighting For describes how looking in the mirror, we marred the image of the Creator as sinful, wretched beings by reflecting a demonic image of debauchery, pride, selfishness, greed, promiscuity, lust, envy, and hatred towards one another. The Enemy in the Mirror explains we can change that image by pursuing the attributes that reflect God's image. Broken but Not Destroyed describes how we feel defeated, distraught, and discouraged by experiencing and enduring constant setbacks, disappointments, catastrophic events in our daily life. Broken but Not Destroyed is a roadmap on how we can pick ourselves up naturally and spiritually by discovering our Godly potential. God has not forsaken us in our time of need if only we would trust him. Minister and Evangelist Constance D. Dixon was born in Peoria, Illinois. She is a wife, mother of five (four girls and one boy), and a grandmother of two girls. Evangelist Constance D. Dixon is the daughter of Alvertus and Nancy Jenkins. As a young child, God blessed her with the gift of music and became a child prodigy by playing the classical piano competing throughout the United States. Evangelist Constance Dixon has a dual bachelor's degree in Music Performance: Applied Piano and Business Administration with an emphasis on Human Resources. She also has a double Masters' degree in Public Administration from APUS and an Executive Leadership from Liberty University. She is also an effective administrator in Human Resources, Education, and Healthcare Administration by implementing programs that have enhanced the livelihoods of all she has come across locally and regionally. She has created and published "Speaking Out 2-Day," a Newsletter that deals with the natural and spiritual man, and she is a Published Author of "How Can I Escape" and "Enemy in the Mirror a Journey Worth Fighting For." Minister and Evangelist Constance Dixon is grateful because"with all that God is given to me, I give unto Him the more for I take no credit nor thought for nothing except that Jesus is the Hope of Glory that is in me that strengthens and directs. For it is His power and His authority that He gives to whom He will". Her motto is: "What you see is what God has wonderfully and fearfully made."

Every time God's grace and human faith combine, miracles happen. God's grace is continually reaching down to all mankind, but unfortunately many don't have the faith to experience it in their everyday lives. The purpose of Miracles In Between is to introduce non-believers to a faith in Jesus Christ, while strengthening the faith of all believers. This book is unique because it doesn't just focus on one side of the work; grace or faith, but describes the combination of the two, while describing what takes place during the divine exchange between the finite and the eternal. Grace reaches down. Faith reaches up. Miracles happen in between. Reframing the Curveballs Life Pitches Our Way! includes reflections from the author that share an encouraging attitude, a spiritual insight, and a step to consider at the end of each reflection. The author's thoughts are frequently blended with baseball analogies and metaphors. Life's challenges are not easy, just as baseball is not always easy. Life truly is like a baseball game...when you think a fastball is coming, you have to be ready to hit the curve! As a cancer survivor, the author shares "I've done a LOT of adjusting with my mindset over the years. I do know that when we encounter the often-monumental challenges that change can bring in our lives, no one can walk that path for us, but they can certainly walk it with us." This book offers hope, by encouraging you to stay at it, whatever that "it" may be in your life. By choosing to do some 'reframing' with your mindset, you will be abundantly fulfilled. The process is worth it! The game of baseball provides many lessons about success and failure, and those lessons can so often be applied in our life journeys. This book focuses on those lessons and can be used as a daily reflection to find a way forward, one step at a time whenever you may feel discouraged or need a boost. A reminder that so often in life, the difference between success and failure is belief, and so often someone who encouraged us instills that belief in us... Be an ENCOURAGER! Even in the midst of the Civil War, the war within one's heart seems to be the greatest of all. This is what Ella, a young wife experiencing the height of the Civil War, discovers when her family, her community, and her marriage are impacted in countless ways as the war reshapes and redefines all that she has come to know. In Straight Ways and Crooked Paths: Ella's Story, author Terri Lynn takes you deep into the heart of Missouri during the Civil War Era, as the citizens of this unique state are divided in their support for the Union and the Confederacy pitting neighbors against neighbors and family against family. As the war wages on, Ella's faith and Jackson's loyalty are put to the test, as the young husband and wife watch the world around them-and the hearts within them-change forever. In the face of fear, tragedy, and change, Ella finds strength in the presence of God who is with her always. She knows that He alone can make straight the crooked paths that we often find ourselves on in this life. Ella will see firsthand that even the most crooked of ways can be used for God's purpose, and the peace that lasts is only found by giving one's heart to Him. Terri Lynn is from the rural Midwest where she lives with her husband and children. She enjoys long walks along the countryside and observing the many varieties of birds and other wildlife around her home. Terri also loves history and has spent numerous hours researching her own family tree. Her love of family and discoveries about her ancestors have inspired many of her stories.

This book addresses the prayer of Jesus, that we all be one just as He and the Father are one, and not only one, but perfect or complete and mature in this oneness, Jn. 17:21,23. The answer to this prayer came to Paul, the apostle as it was revealed to him that we are one body, and every believer has been baptized into this one body of Christ, 1Cor. 12:13. The Holy Spirit has made us one and we all are of one Spirit. The maturing of the body will only be accomplished as every member of the body does its part. All of us have been given grace for this, Eph. 4:7. In recent decades, God has restored all the 5 ascension gift ministries, Eph.4:11 and the charismatic manifestations, 1Cor. 12:7, all of which are necessary for our maturity. In order to allow for all the ministries to do their parts, the body will need to have meetings so everyone can be equipped by the ascension ministries and meetings for the members to minister to one another in love and build each other up. This is going to change the focus of all ministry, how we do church and where we do church. There is coming a tremendous move of reconciliation. In this season, many estranged members will become reconciled to one another and to congregations. Much needed healing will take place. Our God is a God of reconciliation and has given us this ministry, 2 Cor. 5:19. We are going to see members cross denominational lines to be united in our oneness and function in proximity to one another. City churches will develop as our understanding that we are all of one Spirit increases.

One day in the innocuous farming village of Thatcher, a baby girl is born-not just any baby girl, but one of destiny and purpose unlike anything seen in hundreds of years. Her arrival sets into motion a series of unusual and far-reaching events as powerful unseen forces of good and evil wage war over her and the future of her people which hangs in the balance. Thatcher: And So It Begins by Cheryl S. Birch is an exciting allegorical tale which transports readers into a world of fantasy and the supernatural. The Glorious One and His Guardians stand against the Prince of Darkness, Ev Ilone, and his Familiars as they seek to invade Peaceful Land, overthrow King Harmony, and destroy the child, who is the first Shining Warrior in 300 years. Neleh and Zenry, the last two believers in Thatcher, work to protect the child and hundreds more born after her as they have been tasked by The Glorious One's Son, Iam. While re-reading the classic Pilgrim's Progress in 2006, Cheryl began to see and hear another story as the world of Thatcher came to her in whole scenes, complete with dialogue. The routines and responsibilities of life caused delays, but retirement and the COVID lockdown provided the opportunity for this book's completion. The first in a series, it is an inspiring story that illustrates how easily worldly pursuits and things of darkness can take our focus away from God, trapping our souls, but it reminds us that God always has a plan for our deliverance. With Him, there is always hope, and He never gives up on sharing the good news of salvation and freedom through His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Cheryl is a fantasy writer and poet who lives in the Central Valley of California with her husband and two rescue cats. The fourteen pound gray kitty is her loyal writing buddy. The other is a bit too snobbish to join in. Before discovery of her true calling-a fulltime writing career-she did a plethora of things including retail management, small business owner, district director for a California State Senator, founder and president of a nonprofit, and ten years as a local pastor/ministry leader. However, being a volunteer, helping others succeed, especially children, has been the heartbeat of her life. When asked about her journey to a career as a fantasy writer, Cheryl replied, "Sharing my God inspired stories has become a new passion, a mission, and an exciting, wonderful way of blessing others." This book is about a preacher's wife who lived in silent depression and learned survival skills by being emotionally isolated while sitting in church. She accepted Jesus as her personal Savior at the age of eighteen, and was called to ministry shortly thereafter in 1969.She received a prophetic word from her spiritual mom, who had a dream she had one eye open and one eye closed. She told her that she needed to be watchful because Satan was out to destroy her ministry. She was married at the age of twenty-four to a preacher who she thought was her prince charming. You are about to experience her real-life story as a preacher's wife. She believed that the prophetic dream of her spiritual mom was symbolic, and the interpretation was clear. Satan was going to attack her personal spiritual growth. The story unfolds: she became a divorcee and was left alone to raise three children. This is when she experienced the worst battles of her spiritual sanity. The book will inspire every unmarried person, divorcee, married couple, and parent not to give up on their loved ones, and will encourage widows to live after the death of a spouse. She learned the four principles of life: love God, love your family, love your church, and love people. These are the keys to successful living.
