Josiah and the crew from Rock City are confronted with the reality of human trafficking and the dangers and consequences of our unpreparedness. See how these issue suddenly come to light with all of the stark realities we read about every day. The danger to immigrants people, the struggle to preserve family, and the need to provide for their well-being all seem to collide in a mad chase at the end of a long and hard road. Like it or not, we are obligated to help and be in prayer for these folks as they arrive on our doorstep. It si midnight and a neighbor is knocking on your door. (Luke 11:5-8) Born in upstate NY. It all begins with a nightmare. Then, a mysterious phone call. Oliva is awakened to a life shattering reality. There is an old farmhouse, long abandoned, or so it seems. It sits on the brow of a hill off the beaten path along a little used road in the Western Piedmont region of North Carolina. If one were to apss by the house of an evening on the highway below the might hear, or might think they are hearing the sound of human sobbing coming from the old place. Sometimes memories come unbidden during restless nights when all should be at peace. But suddenly, like waves crashing on a stormy shore they force their way into the conscious mind. Hear My Heart is a compilation of poems that were written by Donna Amelia Howell Richardson over the course of her life. They are mostly spiritual in nature because Donna found Jesus as a child and He inspired her all her life. The book contains special events and special people who entered her life and moved her to writing. The poems deal with life and death, and include highlights from Donna's career as a high school principal. Her roles as wife, mother, friend, and grandmother are also front and center in many of her works. The words within this volume will speak to anyone journeying through this life and searching for a companion. They are written from Donna's heart to an audience of whoever wishes to share her story. God Bless. My name is Donna Amelia Howell Richardson and I was born and raised in Jacksonville, Florida. My father worked for Southern Bell and my mother was a stay-at-home mom. I attended East 44th Street Baptist Church, which was just two blocks from my home from birth until I was around 26 and we moved our family to San Mateo. My husband and I both were baptized at that little church, and I sang in the choir there for many years alongside a very influential Christian role model named Yvonne White. I never forgot her influence in my life and can still hear her singing "His Eye is on the Sparrow" in my dreams. She had a beautiful soprano voice. I always enjoyed writing, even in my little diary as a small child. I had an English teacher at Andrew Jackson High School, Mrs. Harvey, who told me I should be a writer. I was very encouraged by her words and continued jotting down verses and poems for the rest of my life. I married my high school sweetheart, Steven Richardson, at the age of 19, and together we began the journey of building a family and continuing our educations. We both received a Bachelors and Masters Degree from the University of North Florida, and I went back for my Doctorate's Degree at UNF. My education enabled me to become an English teacher at N.B. Forrest High School in 1985, twelve years after I had had my first child. I stayed at home during my two children's formative years, and enjoyed being PTA president at San Mateo Elementary School, and just pleasured in being a mother to my offspring prior to jumping into a very busy career for the next 33 years. Throughout my busy career and letting life just roll over me, I took moments to compose some of my deepest thoughts. I wrote all of these on pieces of paper and just tucked them away until I decided to share them with the world. I am up in years now, and hope to keep writing the next thirty years so I can produce a second volume to my heart-felt feelings.

Imagine three young girls who come from very different backgrounds, but their love for good food, great parties, friendship, family and most of all Jesus Christ, takes them on some great adventures together. Even when a long-lost family member shows up unexpectedly, will it ruin this birthday weekend for Tasha? My name is Tiffany Moss and I absolutely love to write, sing, spend time in nature and enjoy time with my family. My greatest love is my love for Jesus Christ and sharing it with people of all ages. However, I hold a special place in my heart for children and my wanting to share how important, loved and cherished they are by Jesus Christ. Because of that great love, I created my children's series His Kingdom Girlz. It is my hope that you, and all the Kingdom Girlz that you know, really enjoy this series.

We are all in need of healing. Whether psychological, emotional, physical, or some combination thereof, there will come a time in all of our lives when we will need the healing touch that only the Lord can give. When we find ourselves in need of a miracle, what do we do? How do we go about seeking the healing we desperately need from God?The Healing Power in Jesus's Name: Insights from Eight Healing Evangelists on How to Receive a Miracle by Leo Green is an inspiring book which examines the work of eight evangelists and others who have successfully facilitated undeniable healings in the name of Jesus Christ. In the book, the author shares how he started having visions at the age of seventeen, and after suffering a hemorrhagic stroke in 2014, he began to rely more on his visions and their meaning in his life. He became even more interested because of the high accuracy of the visions, and after attending a miracle service held by Pastor Mel Bond in Wentzville, Missouri, he became more involved in learning about evangelists and how they were able to achieve these results.Inspired by his own life experiences, this book introduces the evangelists' ministries and methods in a clear and concise way to readers who are seeking healing. It is a powerful resource that includes resources such as links to audio visuals and transcripts of live, actual healings as well as ratings of evangelists and additional reading for further study. African Americans struggle with identity because of 400 plus years of slavery, Jim Crow, the dark specter of ghettoes, and the New Jim Crow, i.e., prison. In a 1967 speech, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., referred to this as the struggle for somebodiness and located that identity in Jesus. This struggle for identity is exacerbated by the fact that African Americans have moved away from the institution, i.e., the Black Church, and Black Pentecostalism, i.e., the motor behaviors that slaves brought with them from Africa, practiced in the Invisible Church in the brush arbors and practiced in the first Black Churches. Bishop Johnson argues that African-American identity, i.e., somebodiness, flows from the motor behaviors that Africans brought with them from Africa, behaviors like the ring dance, call and response, Negro Spirituals, etc. Bishop F. Josephus (Joey) Johnson, II, has led one of Akron, Ohio's largest and most influential churches, The House of the Lord, for 48 years. Bishop Johnson has read 50 to 100 books a year for about 20 years. Even though Bishop Johnson's reading is primarily around theology, his reading is wide ranging enough that he considers himself as an organic intellectual, as defined by Antonio Gramsci. Traditional intellectuals are situated in the academy and are interested more in reason than sectarian interests, whereas organic intellectuals speak for the interest of a specific class. Bishop Johnson sees himself as an organic intellectual for Christians in general, people of color more specifically, but especially for African American Saints. He was The Chief Relational Trustee of the City of Akron Racial Equity and Social Justice Taskforce. The Taskforce, organized by the mayor, was tasked to deliver equity recommendations to the city of Akron in December of 2021. He has authored 10 other books, including his most requested book and sermon series, "God is Greater than Family Mess!"

The Rapture is the snatching away to heaven of all living believers in Christ. It will occur at the beginning of seven years of global cataclysm and rule of the Antichrist known as the Great Tribulation, a period that will conclude human history as it's been known. But it will also be a period where untold millions will turn to Christ as Savior. Will you be one of them - affording yourself of a last opportunity for heaven? What will it be like for new believers in this time of unprecedented tumult and persecution? How will they grow in their faith? What will they see in the events and personalities that dominate the last seven years before Christ returns in power and great glory? A return that will see him conquer the forces of evil and establish a reign of righteousness that will last a thousand years. John Balch served as a pastor in Southern Oregon and has taught the Bible in churches in the Portland area for the last 36 years. He is a graduate of Western Seminary in Portland (M.Div., Pastoral Studies), where he lives with his wife, Hedda. James De Young has been Professor of NT at Western Seminary, Portland, OR for 40 years; now retired as Senior Professor he continues to teach distance learning classes. He has taught the book of Revelation for over 50 years from both the English and Greek texts. Self-reflection and self-evaluation are two events that occur in every intelligible human being at certain point in life. In assessing ourselves we look for ways to approve or improve it for a better quality of life. Often times this self-assessment would focus solely on monetary acquisitions. Living our lives to the fullest is suitable to all mankind. It's a great objective to strive for while it's very important to assess our spiritual life from time to time and strengthen this beautiful relationship with the Lord, Jesus-Christ. This sacrificial death of Jesus happened only for one reason: To reconcile the world with the Master of the Universe. Our spiritual health depends greatly on our spiritual wealth for God is Spirit. The questions to ask to yourself are the followings: Can you testify about Jesus? And if so, Who do I say that He is? Amen. Kettly Hogu is a former Elementary school teacher who resides in the US. Her hobbies include writing, family gathering and reach out ministry. Kettly served as deacon and later on as the head of the Trustee Board at First Baptist Church of Randolph, MA during the years of 2001 to 2011. A New Sword for My Bride was birthed over several years of journaling, writing poetry, prayers to Father God and a life struggling to be completely free in Christ. The opening prayer with the names of God became a catalyst for each chapter which then discuss an obstacle that keeps many Christians from fully being embraced by their Abba Father. Overcoming obstacles in one life's journey has taught lessons to the author that will help others. The matching poetry in each chapter were written during that same season and the Scripture Bible lessons affirm that learning. Take a journey through some obstacles that may be holding you back from truly living your destiny in the Kingdom of God and embrace Biblical teaching on the way. Judy's prayer is that those who take this journey of faith, as she shares her own journey, will come to realize that they are chosen (John 15:16), precious & anointed (2 Cor. 6:18), redeemed for another Kingdom and don't need to fit in here (Gal. 1:10). She prays that her readers would come to realize that it is never too late (Joel 2:12), that our King directs us (Isa. 48:17), we can gain an eternal perspective (2 Cor. 4:18), that we can listen to our King (John 10:27), we can pray with mountain moving power (John 14:13-14), can triumph through trials (James 1:3-4), and are forgiven forever (Psalm 86:5). Judith Loeper is a compassionate poet, writer and communicator of the Word of God. She has been married to her husband Terry for 43 years and has two grown children. Her passion is to influence others to truly encounter freedom in Christ. Judy graduated from Clarion University, located in Clarion, Pennsylvania in 1976 with a Bachelor's degree in Special Education. She attended Millersville University in Millersville, Pennsylvania and received her Masters in Education in 1981. Josiah Whitney is a semi-retired forensic engineer. A widower of two years he has settled in a small Piedmont town in North Carolina following the death of his wife Sarah. The adventure begins as he tries to understand a series of break-ins and fires that began suddenly without warning in the building he has purchased, renovated and now houses the towns newest hardware franchise. The story sweeps from the antebellum period of the American South and crashes into the present day as passions, greed, political corruption and subterfuge create an unforgettable tale of mystery, mayhem and new hope. More than a chronicle about carving a large Christian camping ministry out of the remote Alaskan wilderness. More than a tale about an ice cream-eating bear or baptizing people in a frozen lake. This is an account of willing but very human individuals who followed God's call to serve Him in Alaska. It is the story about uniting early missionary efforts across the state, the unique ministry tool of Christian camping, and equipping each new generation. Ultimately, it is the testimony about the God who is seeking and saving the lost (Luke 19:10). This is a second, expanded and updated, edition of Building Lives Worth Living which was originally written to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Victory Bible Camp. The story did not end after the first book. In the last 25 years, God has continued to use His people to build His Kingdom! Ginny Gillespie suspected that she might end up at Victory Bible Camp someday because Stan hinted at such when he asked her to marry him in 1967. But she never dreamed it would be the place where they would raise their children (Kim, Chris, and Michelle), serve for thirty years and experience so many challenges and blessings. At Victory, Ginny served as the ministry's bookkeeper, while also filling roles in administration, cleaning, and cooking. Kim and Michelle have used their camping experience internationally in Siberia and Central Asia, as well as domestically in the mission organizations they serve. In writing this second edition, Ginny and her daughters feel less like authors and more like collectors of stories. Their deepest desire is that you see God's hand in the pages of this book and that it gives you the courage to follow His voice wherever He calls YOU to serve.
