He is being singled out as our King, our Messiah, and the Prince of Peace.Jesus' main responsibility was to honor and glorify the people who were around Him. God'sallegiance to us is an affirmation that Jesus will be back again. He will re-established Himselfas our majesty as He had promised based on the scriptures.The book of Matthew is a book of fulfillment because God's promise to us had been fulfilledthrough Jesus. Conforming to 2 Corinthians 1:18-20 it says and I quote: " But as surelyas God is faithful, our message to you is not "Yes" and "No." For the Son of God, JesusChrist, who was preached among you by us-by me and Silas and Timothy-was not "Yes"and "No," but in him it has always been "Yes." For no matter how many promises God hasmade, they are "Yes" in Christ. And so through him the "Amen" is spoken by us to the gloryof God.Our faithfulness will open the door in heaven. So, we need to stick with our faith in God.By reason of our loyalty and acceptance of Jesus as our personal Lord and Savior we need toappreciate God's plan for us and we need to respect and adore Jesus as the lamb of God. Wehave to remember that Matthew put an emphasis on Jesus that He is indeed a Jewish person.His ancestors were King David and Abraham.
