"Love the Wounded" by Lynn Dove is the final and dramatic conclusion to her brilliant Wounded Trilogy series that has followed the lives of teenagers Jake, Leigh, Mike, Dylan and Tim as they come to terms with a series of tragedies and events that have made each of them question why God allows "bad things to happen to good people". Leigh does not know who to choose...her heart tells her she will always love Jake, but he has changed so much since the death of their friend, Ronnie, and with his mother going through breast cancer, he has totally closed himself off from her emotionally. Now she is dating Dylan and try as she might to accept him for who he is, she can't stop thinking about Jake! Dylan has never gotten over the loss of his father and little sister, killed by a drunk driver when he was just a young boy. After a horrific accident that has put both Tim and his little brother, Evan in the hospital, everyone knows that not only is he being bullied at school; he cuts himself to cope with it all. But meeting Cassidy has given him the courage to stand up to the bullies and at the same time give her what she so desperately needs...a life-giving bone marrow transplant. Jake's mother keeps telling him that "God works all things out for good" but with all the things going on in his life and with his friends, he's just not sure anymore. It is only after Mike is paralyzed in a car accident that Jake was partially responsible for that all the families and friends will be brought back together, not by coincidence, but by God's design and then Jake will finally believe that God truly does "Love the Wounded". "A life of working with youth has inspired Lynn Dove, a Cochrane mother to turn her experiences into a book trilogy...(the Wounded Trilogy) series that parallels the struggles of students...(and) covers the angst of some of the real serious issues that teenagers face today, particularly with bullying and gossip. "You don't get it, Dylan! Ronnie was absolutely beautiful, smart, fun to be around...." "And you're not, is that what you're saying, Leigh?" Dylan stopped and spun her around. "Did Jake ever say that he liked Ronnie more than you?" "He didn't need to say it, I just knew..." Leigh would not look Dylan in the eyes. "You've got a huge chip on your shoulder, Leigh." Leigh was hurt by the tone of his voice but she had to admit that he was right... "Look, don't put yourself down...ever, at least not around me. I think maybe it was my baby sister who showed me to admire girls who don't take any crap from anyone. She was stubbornly pig headed...remember my tattoo?" Leigh nodded. "Maybe that's what Jake liked about Ronnie. She sounded like a girl who didn't care what the rest of the world thought of her, she did her thing anyway. Not saying she made all the right choices, but hey..." Dylan did not finish the sentence. He refused to make a judgement about the way Ronnie had led her life. "I'm not too sure about this Jake guy though. I'm worried when he realizes how dumb he was to let you go that if he ever comes back into your life, you'll dump me...but then again..." He paused and looked deeply into Leigh's eyes, "...maybe not. Give me a chance okay?" Before Leigh could react, Dylan leaned down and kissed her warmly on her lips. His eyelashes fluttered against her cheek. His lips were soft and she felt herself kissing him back. He lingered there for what seemed to Leigh like an eternity and then when he released her she thought her knees would buckle under her. Dylan looked at her, grinned and then said self-assuredly. "Bet that Jake guy never kissed you like that." Leigh had to agree. HEAL THE WOUNDED is the much-anticipated sequel to LYNN DOVE'S debut novel, SHOOT THE WOUNDED.

(Proverbs 13:22)About the Illustrator B. Regan Greenwood is a young Christian Canadian animator who's been blessed to work on this project while she was in high school (it kept her out of various types of shenanigans like bringing home too many pets and giving her poor mother a migraine). In her free time she enjoys reading Doug TenNapel comics, drawing, making puppets, fossil hunting, working on group projects, discussing deep questions, and trying to learn to play the ukulele, in which she has moderate success until she tries to sing and strum at the same time. Regan has the best job in the world as an animator, and can't wait to see what doors God has unlocked for her.

SHOOT THE WOUNDED is a contemporary Christian novel that deals with relevant social issues such as teen pregnancy and family violence. Set in the small fictional town of Maplewood, in southern Alberta, best friends Leigh and Ronnie find their friendship and faith challenged when Jake, a good looking Christian boy, moves into their neighborhood. Leigh is especially delighted that Jake is paying more attention to her than any other girl at school or church, but what she does not know is that despite his bold declaration of being a follower of Christ, he's carrying a dark secret from his past that has the potential to destroy his integrity and have his friends question the legitimacy of his faith.

I had a great family, an amazing job, and I was living for the Lord Jesus Christ, yet I felt frustrated, angry, despondent and depressed, without having a reason. It wasn't until I visited a particular church and the Pastor told us to go home that night and ask God what is our divine destiny. He said that each one of us has a divine destiny and if we do not know what our destiny is, we will just live in repetitious cycles. It was that very night I asked God to reveal to me my divine destiny, and the Lord showed me this book entitled, The Silent Death, and he asked me to write it for Him. This book, as the Holy Spirit led me to write, includes information, strategies and direction for teenagers, young adults, men and women, saved and unsaved. This book states the different ways one can die without knowing that they are dying. It is about the traps of the enemy, Satan himself. It depicts the many strategies that Satan uses to rob people of their peace, their joy, their happiness, their marriages, their children, their finances and their divine destinies. This book also includes strategies one can use to defeat Satan and his destructive plans for their lives so that they will no longer be experiencing a silent death; instead they will live a victorious life if they allow Jesus Christ to have His way in them!

Learning to think like God is an ongoing voyage. No discussion of God's thoughts could ever be considered exhaustive. Master Mind began the journey. Mind Renovation is another step along the way. Like that old house that inspires one renovation project after another, the process of our own mind renovation will, most likely, be an ongoing undertaking until the day we meet the Master face to face

After nine years of a difficult ministry in an Ontario housing complex and the deaths of my father and brother, I plunged into the deepest, darkest hole you could imagine. As anger, fear, depression, and loneliness engulfed me, I poured out my emotions. - God, who are You? - God, if You love me, show me. - God, why didn't You protect me? I asked God to guide my healing process and give me the right books to help me heal. God answered my prayers. He led me through a five-year healing journey which drew me into an intimate relationship with my Heavenly Father. He gave me a craving for studying His Word and spending time in His presence. Each time I cried out to my Heavenly Father in agony, He answered me with a scripture or passage. By the end of the five years, God had given me over three hundred scriptures that helped me heal.
