I have never fallen into a pit but can only imagine the fears associated with wondering how I would get out. When God speaks about souls going to the pit of Hell, He does not provide an escape plan, nor does He disclose to us a reprieve of any kind but rather illuminates that when a person goes to Hell, that their situation escalates from bad to worse. According to the Scriptures, immediately after death comes the Lord's judgment, and you and I will be sealed to our eternal home with God or we will be sealed to the devil's Hell where the worm dieth not.
