In the midst of uncertain times, it's even more important to focus on who we are and whose we are. As sons and daughters of the Most High God, we have inherited a winning lifestyle. Not because we are so great and deserving of anything, but because God is love. All of us have an opinion of what love is. Some of us, myself included, have searched for love in all the wrong places. But, there is no greater love than our Father God's love. No, I disagree that learning to love yourself is the greatest love of all. Yes, it is a beautiful song. But, without knowing and being in relationship with our heavenly Father, you can't understand your worth, your purpose, or the lengths that He and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ went to redeem, restore, establish, protect, and make you the light in the darkness of this world. Loving ourselves because we are wonderfully created in the image of God can be hindered by the fashion and cosmetic images we are bombarded with daily. But, by learning what the love of God affords us and allowing His love to renew our minds, change our lifestyle, lead, guide, and protect us along the many highways, sharp curves, and detours of life's journey, it becomes our helmet, our seatbelt, our life preserver, and necessary armor. In other words, basking in His multifaceted love, which is the greatest love of all, is guaranteed to give us the victorious life (the abundant life that Jesus Christ, in yet another facet of God's love, endured the cross to give us), eternal life, and life to the fullest. What multifaceted love!
