Dieses Buch bietet eine deutschsprachige Übersetzung des Haggadah-Textes mit genauen Durchführungsanweisungen. Der hebräischen Sprache nicht mächtigen oder ungeübten Personen soll so das Abhalten eines eigenen Seder-Abends ermöglicht werden. Umfangreiche Kommentare im Fußnotenbereich geben erläuternde Anmerkungen zu den Quellen der Durchführungsanweisungen sowie dem inhaltlichen Verständnis des Haggadah-Textes. Der übersetzte Text sowie die Durchführungsanweisungen folgen der Tradition der chassidischen Chabad-Bewegung. Jedoch ist diese Ausgabe grundsätzlich dazu geeignet, auch jedem Seder-Abend einer anderen Tradition zu folgen.
