You know how the things your mom repeated the most are the things that you still hear ringing inside your head? I know that feeling oh too well because I was my mother's primary caregiver for the last 10 years of her life. I can still hear her saying things like, "when given the choice of 'either/or', usually the best answer is BOTH!" Or "all is well", which she said at least ten times each day, even on days when it really did not appear to be. Now that she is no longer physically with us, I figured I would explain the meaning behind her most popular sayings to keep her spirit and her memory alive in all those that learned her story. This is Mommy Philosophies: Lessons I Learned from my Mom During Caregiving. As the middle child and only girl in her family, Vivian Geary has been a long-time observer of humans. She watched and learned her place in her family and her community becoming astute at seeing the needs of others, empathizing, and moving to help fill those needs. She created Caring for Family Caregivers as a resource to others providing caregiver coaching and support groups for family caregivers. As a speaker and trainer, she conducts seminars and classes on a variety of topics pertinent to all aspects of the caregiving journey.

This book is about a small child questioning her Lord. She is curious how someone can love her so much that even when she makes mistakes, God's love never changes. It is unconditional. She wants to love God like He loves her. While she can not understand fully all things that God has prepared for her, she does understand that she is eager to learn more about her Lord. My name is Cindy Boatwright. I am from Georgia; My husband Gary Boatwright and I have four terrific children: whose ages range from 7 to 24. Youngest to oldest are Izabella, Jayden, Nicholas, and Chelsea, who has made me a Nana to; Aleah Gracelynn and August Dekario. My heart belongs to my Savior, Jesus Christ. I get my inspiration for writing from God. This book I dedicate to my courageous mother, Helen Toliver, who has gone on to be with Jesus. She showed me the true meaning of God's unconditional love and strength.

"KINGDOM VISION" is all about how you see the very things you face, how you envision the obstacles of life from the decisions you make and the direction you go in, to the perspective you have and whether or not you can receive at the level you should then also how you view the places where others are...their standpoints and where they're coming from. This book was written to push you beyond the walls that religion has built and open you up to the real, rich relationship Jesus Christ longs to have with you that takes you to an even higher level! "All I can say, is buckle up! Pastor Daniel Parker is not only a Kingdom Man but he has developed a Keen Vision for the times and the season in which we live. The reality that we need to be a part of a greater kingdom and the urgency for a clear vision is the understatement of the year. This is why I love what Pastor Parker releases in this book. This is what the Kingdom of Heaven should look like and this is what you will see clearly in the upcoming chapters. Somebody say, Speak Lord! I'm listening..." -Chance Walters (Evangelist & Author/Chance Walters Ministries-Greensboro, NC) "In a chaotic world of polarizing differences, the only thing that can really bring us together is an understanding of the Kingdom. Pastor Daniel Parker in his new book "Kingdom Vision" reveals kingdom keys that will push us beyond the walls that religion has built and open us up to experience all that God has for us. I'd recommend this incredible resource to anyone who wants to see God's Kingdom established in this world and in their own world!" -Israel Campbell (Pastor & Author/Flourishing Church -Los Angeles CA) "Kingdom Vision" is a powerful book written from a kingdom point of view. Daniel Parker is an excellent writer and breaks down the topic very nicely so that everyone can gain the wisdom and insight that is needed to understand and apply kingdom principles to their lives. If we follow these principles that Daniel Parker highlights, I believe that it will set many people free. Much of the church is in bondage when we should be living as heirs of the kingdom. We may be on the earth, but we are not of this world. God never intended for His church to walk in poverty, defeat, or confusion. He wants us to walk in the blessings of the kingdom. Make sure you pray before reading this book, because the revelation in it will change your life." -Michael Bacon (Pastor & Author/Glory Tabernacle International Ministries -Youngsville, NC) Daniel Parker is a Pastor, Singer & Songwriter and has been Lead Pastor at Christian Fellowship Church in Elm City, NC for 13 years. His Kingdom Teachings can be viewed online each week through Facebook & YouTube under CFC Sandy Cross and on their website cfcsandycross.com as well as on Instagram & their Share Faith App under cfcallabouthim.

"Poems From Him" is a collection of poems the Lord gave me many years ago over a period of several years. They have been a blessing to me and I felt it was time to share them with others. They tell of a Father's great love, a Savior's great sacrifice, and His soon coming return for His children. I hope they inspire love for, and faith in, our amazing Creator. My name is Rick Rice. I live in Lakeland, Florida and I am retired. My wife of 45 years, Peggy, went to be with Jesus in April of 2020. I enjoy spending time with my five great grandchildren and being involved in their lives. The poems in this book tell of God's great love for us and His beautiful plan of salvation. They tell of His willingness to meet our needs and take care of us. I hope each reader is inspired, and encouraged, to know Him better and to trust Him completely.

Life is not a bland grouping of just black and white, but is a collage of many colors, each contributing to the vast array of the portrait that makes up our lives. In these pages I have drawn from many firsthand experiences in order to paint a visual picture that illustrates a lesson for our daily consideration to encourage and instruct us in our daily walk. I hope you find these pages helpful. Born to an unwed preacher's daughter in the early 1950s, you would think that the odds of having a successful life would have been stacked against me, but just the opposite would be true. The foundation of my grandparents' home and a loving church community would eventually lead me to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and that relationship knew no boundaries. I have lived and am living a blessed life.

A compelling German historical biography of faith, framed by religious, political and military conflict, set in the twin cataclysmic backdrop of both world wars, as seen from a Polish perspective. The narrative is enriched with a wide array of heroic personal stories, such as the Junker matriarch Ruth von Kleist and her children, in defiance of multiple manifestations of tyranny. The central figure, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, of whom Ruth came to regard like a son, becomes disenchanted with the State Church's appeasement of the National Socialist agenda, and transitions into a double life as pastor and spy. As the tension builds to the tragic climax, one can draw disturbing parallels with the modern-day subversion of all faiths and human rights abuses in Xi Jinping's China, with tacit approval it seems, from the Vatican. Moreover, eerie parallels from the death throes of Weimar Germany for America in 2020-21.

This book is a part of my passion to continue teaching children in the city of New Orleans. It is an opportunity to show children all over the world some of the historic landmarks we call home. I hope you will enjoy the illustrations that my son labored over for months. The book is one of our biggest accomplishments. Karen H. Blanchard was born and raised in the city of New Orleans. She attended the New Orleans Public School System and received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education from Dillard University. Upon graduation, she began teaching in the New Orleans Public School System. Karen developed a love for writing in the third grade when she won her first poetry contest. She returned to school and received her Master's Degree from Xavier University of New Orleans. Like so many residents of the city, she and her family were relocated by Hurricane Katrina. Though she resides and teaches in Fort Worth, Texas, her heart and soul belong to the magical city where she grew up. It is her love for the city that inspired this book. It is dedicated to my grandbabies Jade, Naiyah, and Nasir Blanchard who are Texans and who will never know my New Orleans. It's for the generation of babies whose parents for whatever reason didn't return to our fair city. Last but not least for those, "who know what it means to miss New Orleans." Laissez les bons temps rouler (let the good times roll). Brandon was born and raised in the city of New Orleans. His mother realized at the tender age of four he had a talent for visual art. Brandon studied under world renowned Richard Thomas. He was a member of Mr. Thomas Pieces of a Dream Artists. Worship, what is it? Do we associate it with our experiences or what we do, sing? The verse that stood out for me approaching this topic is found in John 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: vs. 13 who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. So my journey began with a responding to the call and understanding that it is not about what I do but who I am. It's not about a certain place that I am affiliated with or family that I was born into. It's more about Whose I am. I began to know Truth (John 14:6), that starts with faith and a supernatural emerging from an acknowledged place of lostness to true identity and purpose. This reading material will assist you in embracing true meaning, intimacy and purpose, an invitation to know the One who already knows you. Linda Michele Smith is the author. Child of God, devoted wife 27 years, mother of 4, prophetic worshipper, intercessory, prayer warrior and administrative worker, literary writer. Growing up in a very sheltered environment with my father who worked during the week and worshipped with a group, traveling on weekends to minister and my mother, a homemaker who saw that we were cared for, enjoyed our childhood, getting to bed and school activities. Being an introverted person I spent a lot of time to myself singing, and traveling with my father.

Pastoral transitions are inevitable for every church. Unfortunately, pastoral transitions often result in a major setback for the church-and it is becoming more and more difficult for churches to bounce back. In order to mitigate such setbacks, churches across traditions are choosing Seamless Pastoral Transition with increased frequency. A Seamless Pastoral Transition is a leadership transition in which a pastoral vacancy is avoided by a planned overlap in service of the Outgoing Pastor and the Incoming Pastor. When implemented with sound leadership transition principles, a Seamless Pastoral Transition can ensure the continuity of a church's mission and maintain a church's positive momentum. In addition to a number of case studies, this book focuses on three Leadership Transition Imperatives to embrace and covers six Leadership Transition Pitfalls to avoid. If you are a Pastor, a Denominational Executive, or a Church Board Member, one of your highest priorities must be planning for pastoral transitions with great diligence. If you agree, then this book is written for you. Lee Kricher is the Founder of Future Forward Churches, an organization that provides resources for leaders navigating pastoral transition. Lee is the author of For a New Generation: A Practical Guide for Revitalizing Your Church, a book that chronicles the transformation of Amplify Church from an aging, dying church into a growing, multi-generational church. After leading that transformation, Lee led a Seamless Pastoral Transition to a next generation leader. Lee Kricher earned his Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources from Geneva College, a Master's degree from Fuller Theological Seminary, an MBA from the University of Pittsburgh and a Doctor of Ministry from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.

Leave some bread on the table, the Word of God, the spiritual bread. Jesus is the spiritual bread that the world stands in need of. He is the bread of life; He is the Word of God. Jesus Christ, the anointed one, is the bread that fills the hungry souls. He is the water of the Word, that spiritual water that when we drink, all thirst is forever gone. Yes, God is our rock. His work is perfect; all His ways are judgment: A God of truth, and without iniquity, He is just and right. The bread of life, the light of the world, He supplies both spiritual and physical bread. The Lord is the great "I Am." Thank you, Jesus. Amen. As An Author, I have never published a book, but I have done biblical base writing posting online, on Facebook, Linked In, Medium, Writers Work, a few on Word Press and Twitter. I have always loved to write when no one else could understand it but myself. I see my writing as a tool, seeking the salvation of souls. Someone will read the book and receive the truth and get saved. Thereby with the mind of imagination, to see the angels of God rejoicing in His presence, over one sinner who repents.

Most people can tell you more about the rules of baseball than they can about foster care. In fact, the majority of people only know about foster care through what they've seen on TV or heard from someone they know who has foster experience. Fostering Hope takes you on a journey inside the struggles and triumphs of fostering teenage boys and provides encouragement along the way for those who may be considering getting involved with some of our society's most vulnerable and marginalized population. Whether the stories merely move you...or move you to action, you'll appreciate the honest, thoughtful way Davidson weaves the reality of the foster care experience with wisdom, moments of humor and compassion.

My desire is that every woman reading this journal is encouraged, strengthened, uplifted and learns how to take authority over your life and atmosphere. For too long I have seen so many women who settle for things that they do not have to settle for in relationships, jobs or life-long careers. I have seen many women battle with insecurities in their appearance or simply having a lowly mindset of feeling that they are just not good enough for Gods best for anything that He has given you the ability to accomplish. God's word declares that He came to not just give us life but life MORE ABUNDANTLY. Woman of God it's time for you to lift up your head, live in confidence and begin to live your abundant life here on earth. Lyncia Recetta is a gifted author from Huntsville, Tx who now resides in Houston, Tx. She is a Texas Southern University alumnus holding a degree in Music education with a minor in Children's Theatre. She is a music teacher, baton twirling coach, and gospel singer and has touched the lives of many people and children through her strong leadership, singing and teaching. Being a positive leader and role model for young women is her passion. Her desire is to strengthen, uplift and encourage young women around the world to walk in confidence, love themselves, hold their heads up high and to know that their past nor current situation does not define who they are.

This book tells the story of a young baby boy who was left on the doorstep of a church in a basket with a note written to the pastor of that church. The pastor and his family soon adopted the baby boy, and raised him with love despite his tyrannical developing personality and allowed him to keep the name Jackson as was requested in the note by whoever abandoned the child. But once the child's biological father comes forward to claim him after being released from prison, the saga begins. The pastor and his family can only depend on a greater and higher power in seeking solutions and answers. This book is loaded with inspirations it's action packed. This book, "Teachings To Help You," is a bit different from the 5 other books that I have published. I have gone back to the series of teachings which I have done through the years and written a chapter on each of the subjects. I have explained it in a little more detail in the, "Introduction." Each of these subjects is related to helping Christians understand and walk-in the Christian life. Sometimes, teachings can concentrate on the doctrine so much (of course, it is very important) and the individual Christian needs to understand how to put it into practice in his or her life. That's what these teachings concentrate on. Please read these chapters carefully and, perhaps, over and over. My heart's desire is that you are really helped by them and that you even want to share the truths with others. Gloria Hartman was in the pastoral ministry with her husband for many years and was involved in teaching the Word of God. She had her own radio teaching program called, "Girl Talk," on a Christian radio station. Through that ministry, she ended up speaking throughout the area in the Midwest in which they lived. After her husband's homegoing, she was on staff (in a teaching capacity) at a church that friends of her and her husband were pastoring. She has been writing books since her husband moved to heaven. In the order they were published, they are "Journey in Grace," "Choosing for a Change," "Coming Out of the Cocoon," "From Darkness to Light," "Living in the Light," and now, "Teachings to Help You."
