Be an observer of life. Let love walk in. If love needs to go, then let love walk out. Feel the pain, the joy and the grief. My words are inspired by life, people, nature, joy, grief, love and loss. Many things can inspire the human heart. I've learned over the years of being a long-time hospice nurse that I'd rather feel pain then to not feel at all. Life can get messy, but we get through it with the help of others. When we do get through our uncomfortable season, we can experience joy and fully appreciate the extent of that emotion. We also inherit the compassion to help others through their tough seasons. I encourage you to keep your hearts open, no matter what happens. Love always wins! -Jeanene Kranyik I have worked 35 years in the healthcare field. I was a Certified Nursing Assistant working in nursing homes, homehealth, a hospital and group homes for developmentally disabled children and adults. After 9 years and working my way through college I became a Registered Nurse. I started out in the hospital as a medical surgical nurse, then worked as a hospice nurse for 18 years. I took a break from hospice and worked almost four more years with developmentally disabled adults. I was drawn back to hospice nursing where I continue to work as an On Call visit nurse.

Have you ever wondered why when you were sure you communicated clearly your friend still didn't get what you were saying? The words we use have attached to them our emotions, our history, our own interpretation, our dreams, our desires, our fears, and so much more. Our words paint pictures in our mind and affect what we hear. Thus, our words don't have a standard meaning but rather a usage that is influenced by our mental pictures. Not until we see all of this in what the other person is saying, until we have practiced visual listening, has true communication happened. Hardy will show you how your mental pictures affect how you communicate and how you hear others. "Blind shares a new perspective and toolkit on how we should relate to others by improving the clarity of our communication while also building empathy to improve how well we see and hear others. Blind has different ways of framing information through a balance of practical exercises, personal and professional anecdotes, and biblical references, and communication and psychology research, which is helpful to thoroughly understand the concepts in an entertaining way. - Grace Bassett, PhD, Communication "Blind is absolutely brilliant! Hardy sought to deal with one of the most serious problems of communication breakdowns, between people, especially couples. He draws from numerous examples, including his own life, to expose how communication breaks down but he also offers very constructive suggestions to overcome this problem. Jeanette and I have found his insights most relevant and useful. - Cecil Peasley, Founder and President of Living Ministries International Exter Hardy III is married to his blessing, Lisa, and together they have eight children and seven grandchildren. He has served as Pastor at Pole Line Road Baptist Church in Davis, CA since March 1991. He loves cross-cultural ministry and the communication challenges that brings. God has blessed Exter with the opportunity to serve on six different continents. He has his M. Div. and D. Min. from Gateway Seminary and his M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from California State University, Sacramento. He also authored "Does Ministry Have to Hurt so Much?" published by Xulon Press.

This book contains 102 standalone chapters, with each one addressing a different topic. Every chapter has a brief introduction by the author and then Bible passages/verses that pertain to the topic. The passages/verses were found by repeatedly reading through multiple Bible translations. They go considerably beyond what could be found using a concordance, plus there is no need to sift through hundreds of unrelated concordance matches for the fraction that could be found using that search method. It contains over 3,300 applicable passages with over 6,700 verses that are a highly valuable resource for: sermon preparation, youth group message preparation, growth-life-community group preparation, devotionals, and personally going really deep into Scripture on any of a wide variety of topics. While the verses it contains are direct from the Bible, it clearly and absolutely does not replace or reduce the importance of reading the Bible. The author is a servant who welcomed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in 1989. His growth has been mainly through serving, nine mission trips, and studying the Bible. It was on the third mission trip that God sent a clear message to faithfully read the Bible and since then the author has consistently & passionately read through 28 Bibles, spanning five translations. On the second read through, God made it clear that He wanted the author to apply the Bible in his own life, and after a few more read-throughs, God made it clear that He wanted him to also help others apply it in their lives. The primary ministries the author has served in are radio ministry technical production, children's ministry for 12 years, transitioning with an overlap to youth ministry for 25 years, with considerable adult ministry woven into the mix.

This book chronicles a young girl looking for love in all then wrong places and then finding God when everything else has failed her. Brittney finds herself struggling with low self-esteem, self-hate, and rejection throughout her teens and young adult life, even though she was brought up in the church. She runs out of worldly options for temporary satisfaction when God steps in and begins the transformation of her life. Brittney begins to learn the value of transparency and courage in the process of recovery. Brittney Owens is a licensed doctor of pharmacy, a life long resident of Akron, OH and the first time author of Every Step Is Necessary. Writing was an undiscovered and under nurtured skill for her. Being the youngest child and a self proclaimed loner, the empty pages of journals were the only company she had to escape the pressures of life. She began writing at a young age, first with poems, then short stories on online fan forums and now her first published book. Brittney is not only author but she is an amateur painter, event decorator, and mentor.

When God placed writing this book on my heart, I was struggling and complaining to Him about the state of the church (Christianity worldwide) as someone who travels (50+ countries) and sees the moral slide and what seems to be a lack of urgency from believers to repent, speak God's undiluted truth, and let the Holy Spirit do the convicting. I believe my answer was to write what I believe and then let the Holy Spirit do what He does best-convict. I have deliberately shared summaries of all my points, so readers can do a dive or continue with more studies (both Biblical and scientific) if they so choose. I am trusting God in the purpose of this book, which is to clearly state that Christ is who we surrender to, explain the why of our surrender, outline how we can develop the discipline of surrendering daily when we understand the process biologically and spiritually, and what surrendering through utter and full obedience looks like and does for us on our earthly journey and in eternity. Be blessed. Femi is the Executive Director of Christian Couples Fellowship International Inc. - a marriage and relationship ministry based out of Omaha, Nebraska in the USA. Femi has been blessed to speak in 50+ countries and publish 14 other books (on Marriage, Doctrine and Novels). He is married to Olatokunbo Awodele (a physician) for 30 years, they are blessed with adult children, two boys - Ibukunoluwa and Fiyinfoluwa, and daughter Ebunoluwa.

This book is in response to a book read to my 7-year-old by his teacher that said boys can be girls and vice versa and you can even make up your own gender. This book presents a case for individuality, we can live our lives however we want but we must live in truth, that men are men & women are women and they cannot be interchanged. Just like 2 is 2 and 3 is 3, we are special because of our boundaries not in spite of them.

The destruction of the Holy Temple also shattered one man's faith. Stone's restlessness drove him from the quiet hills, to a city full of desire and worldly lust. He found solace in Rome's favorite cafes and inns, until the night he heard the voices from his past. One woman, Hannah, stood in faith, praying Stone would heed their calls, while trying to protect him from the strongholds of the city, and those who used him for their personal gain. Local fishermen hired Stone, hoping he would avoid the entanglements of Tiberias. Confronted with the consequences of the city's passions one stormy night at sea, Stone was awakened, leading him back to the safe arms of Hannah, who wrestled with her own secrets. Together, they overcame, and walked in God's faithfulness back to Stone's quiet hills, the voices now following the prodigal home, their hope renewed in the Father's love. Author, musician and former business owner, Joni has a passion for history, especially His story. STONE is her third book of the Selah Series and she plans to continue expanding her writing career. Over the years she has served in her local church as a leader in Women's Ministry and on Worship Teams playing violin. She hopes her writing inspires others to dig deep in God's Word and discover for themselves the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End. She has called South Florida home the past forty years, and in her quiet time, you'll find her enjoying the beach.

The more time Glennis spends at home, the more she enjoys being there. Although...the desire to travel is still there...she wants her own RV. Peggy Sue isn't as young as she used to be, and "Mom" promised she could go with her on her adventures. Having their own RV would mean they were always home and always together.

In his book, 'The Three Heavens' Paul Hitchiner takes a fresh, and often critical look at modern Christianity. He brings out a number of scriptures with a logic that seems to indicate that many churches are deviating from the simple and basic Gospel of Salvation that is shown in the Bible. He shows the need to have a faith that is backed up with good works and a freedom from sin that can only be achieved by going through the cross of the Saviour, Jesus Christ. Paul Hitchiner is a retired Civil Engineer in Liverpool (UK). He has been married for 43 years and has three grown-up daughters. Now 75 years old his lifetime experience of church life includes teenage years in a Brethren Church, a House Church for 24 years, 10 years in an independent Youth Church and is now 12 years in an Anglican Church where he has become Warden and Elder.

Do you find yourself forgoing intimate, quiet time with God to focus on the "urgent" matters of your life? Do you feel as if you're constantly chasing time, yet longing for soulful healing? Too often, creating time for God in our daily schedule falls to the end of the list when we're concerned with matters of today's complex world. Even more, some of us don't know where to begin when it comes to spending time with God. For those of us who don't know how to get started, Well Worth MY Soul by Pam Weinreis guides readers to spiritual growth through seeking a closer relationship with God. As a wife, a mother of four, a grandmother of seven and a Sunday School teacher, Weinreis's knows what it takes to stand firm in faith and to be led by the Spirit. In this devotional, she contemplates the wisdom found in scripture and how to find strength and meaning in Him rather than the material world. With hand-picked verses and reflection-based discussion, Weinreis questions the conditions that threaten to separate us from God. She reflects, "When we feel inadequate for the task, remember God has given us everything we need to be strong in Him." Our perceptions and habits have the ability to hinder our transformation in Him. When we rely on ourselves instead of giving the power over to Him, we breed selfishness. It is never too late to get to know God-we simply have to align ourselves with His truth.

Everyone should want to help their country, but many think they must rely on the president, vice president, mayor, or governor to take care of it. Many think they have to be rich or famous to do a good deed for their fellow citizens or their country. However, we all are important for our country in a special way. All it takes is sharing our knowledge with everyone and working with others to help put that knowledge into action. We can start with a small group that wants to work together with us. It is like assembling a puzzle in the right way. Each of our countries is a part of the world puzzle and if one of them is not doing what is right, it will mess up the whole world. So for one who knows the right thing to do and does not do it, for him it is sin. (James 4:17 NASB) We all know nothing is impossible and no load is too heavy as long as we are working together. Every person needs to start today and do their part. My fellow human beings, let us do whatever we can to make the world a heavenly place to live. It does not matter where you are from, your color, or your religion We are brothers and sisters who need to work together to make the world a better place to live. Our next generation should never go through the same things we have gone through. We All Need to Do Our Part Hubert Severe is a Haitian and has been in the United States of America for twenty years. He worked at hotel laundry facilities in Florida for over 15 years. He is now working in New York as a delivery service. Hubert loves watching cartoons and doing housework like cooking and cleaning. Hubert also loves to help and share with everyone. He is a family guy and loves to do things and spend time with his family.

Firstly, it is a story of my life from birth up to and including the present time. It tells of God's involvement and pursuit of me through all the bad choices and lack of good judgment. How my failure to continue on the path He set before me from before time left many scars. but also how I have grown to love Him and be obedient to His call. I am now living in Victory and Obedience, and HE is the reason that is so. I want to say, first of all, my inspiration for writing this book was simply a need to heal and move forward, and not let my past ever define me. I am Fort Wayne born and raised. Adopted by a loving and caring woman that I dearly loved. I also wanted to write this because it needed to be shared and that I am like anyone else with all the struggles and trials. I alone went through these things you are reading, but others have done so as well and I want to be a testimony of God's Grace and Mercy in bringing back this Prodigal child from a deep pit of self-destruction. God is the thread that holds it all together, this Tapestry of His love and Grace. I also want to say this book is first and foremost dedicated to God through His One and only Son My Savior the Lord Jesus Christ and it is my prayer that any who have yet to receive His Gift of Salvation, will find Him and be set free. I also dedicate this book to my Sister Ann Jorgensen who is a true pioneer for Jesus and I am truly in awe of her and love her dearly. Also to those who are mentioned in these pages who have been a part of my life, you know who you are and I love you as fellow Christ-followers and dear friends.

Here was my response: ***"The book is about ridding ourselves from distractions and the pain we've experienced, in order to complete the callings and destinations we were created to fulfill. It is inspired by my life story of how God guided me through the maze of life up to this moment in time.
