God spoke the world into existence with His word. When Moses wanted to quit and throw in the towel unless God showed Himself, God described Himself using words. God revealed Himself through the prophets of great through His word. Then, He made His word become flesh and dwell among us. "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God...And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace And truth." John 1:1, 14 The Bible says... Thy Word I have hidden in my heart... Your Word is a lamp to my feet... The Word of God is living and powerful... Your Word is truth, sanctify them by Your Word... God's name is one Word - YHWH (Yahweh) God's Son's name is one Word - Jesus The Father, Son and Holy Spirit is one Word - Trinity The greatest commandment is fulfilled in one Word - Love There is more wisdom, comfort, and power in one Word of God than all the words of men! This book, therefore, looks intensely at a few particular words among the 770,430 words in the New King James Version of the Bible. We will spend some time focusing on these specific words in the bible, reading the word in its scriptural context, learning a little about it, and making each word a part of our prayer life. Lord willing, you can apply an understanding of these words to your daily life. I invite you to come, learn, and grow in God's Word today.

This book was originally inspired to peer directly into the mind of a hustler! What shapes them? What makes them? As it developed, the author pivoted, and decided not to just give an analyzation, but rather be more creative. He took these different "hustler types" he analyzed, and assigned them personalities. From there, he then incarnated these personalities into archetypes. They would later come to be known as The 4 Archetypes of prosperity. Even deeper, this book cleverly takes you on a journey of financial evolution. At the same time, showcasing the author's personal financial Darwinism through chronological snapshots of his life; each complemented by learning lessons and powerful nuggets of wisdom. Its goal is to pave way to you pondering the impactful question: what is my life's design? How do I want to blueprint my financial pathway so that it serves me best and how I want to live? Let's find out.... Shiloh Jones lives and works in Richmond, Virginia. Before he was even 20 years old, he'd been the product of a broken family, a homeless teenager, a street thug, a starving hip-hop artist, a first-time father, and a highly successful drug dealer. In short, he's gone from being a street-preneur to encouraging the world as a multi-preneur with several companies generating millions of dollars each year. From his experience overcoming adversity, conquering obstacles, and developing resilience, he knows that the future is malleable and that so much is possible when we're aligned with our life purpose. Before turning 40, he ran multiple businesses including real estate and property management, an electronic security company, a construction company, a nonprofit organization (over $3 million donated personally to the community), a mental health and substance abuse organization, and an autism and behavioral therapy center. He's also a community activist who speaks to prison inmates, organizes food drives for the people who are unhoused, displaced, or experiencing food insecurities (feeding 500 families a week), arranges college scholarships (over 30 students served), coaches startup businesses, and provides financial assistance and temporary housing to people in crisis. The book touches on devastation that domestic violence has on a child. I was the recipient of it. You live in constant fear, and you lose yourself in that. You don't know who you are as you are trying to survive the chaos. You leave the home; you have no idea what direction you should take in life. You don't know what is normal and this affect your choices. You end up with hurt on top of hurt. It took many years for me to let God in my heart, but He was patient with me. God had an amazing plan between me and my father. I was my parent's first born. I was born in New York and lived in New Jersey in my early childhood. I grew up in a home that looked clean and everything perfect on the outside. My home life was chaotic, violent and abusive. I carried all these hurts and did not know what love was much less what is normal. I was trying to find love in wrong places. I received healing when I allowed God in my heart after many years staying away from Him.

These are the thoughts of my mind. The truths I believe God has given me to share. By sharing my life and how I have learned to view the world and religion, I hope to help others understand Pentecost better and the ideas of 'one' God, 'one' faith, and 'one' baptism. The ideas of God are too much to put into words, but I will try to explain Him the way I see and understand Him. Born in Alabama, raised in Mississippi, I have always been a part of the Bible Belt. Here, my upbringing has been full of Christianity. I have learned there is more to being a Christian than going to church and looking the part. Growing up Pentecostal, I was never forced to follow in my parent's footsteps. It has been through personal endeavors and personal research I have learned to know God the way I do. This is my gift to Him for all He has given to me. Read and understand, read and share, read and enjoy, read and answer! God bless you all!

In sports, every athlete learns how to "play hurt" through injury. Playing hurt separates good from great athletes. Pastoral ministry is no different. Many times, in ministry the pastor must "play hurt!" The Pastor does not have the liberty to take time to heal. The only difference is that the owner of the organization understands how valuable the franchise player is and would not risk their player being hurt experiencing a career ending injury. It would be amazing if the church would take a page from the professional team owner's manual and protect the franchise player. Who is the franchise player? The Pastor. Playing Hurt invites you into eight difficult years of my life when God used discouragement, death, and depression to prepare me for ministry. This book will encourage the senior pastor, prepare the young preacher, and strengthen the pew member to understand that ministry hurts. Nevertheless, press on! Teron V. Gaddis, founder of Praying for our Pastors Fellowship, is the current pastor of Greater Bethel Church in Oklahoma City, OK. Pastor G has been preaching for 39 years and pastoring one church for 30 years. He is married to Janice for thirty-six years and they have 5 children and 12 grandchildren. Pastor G is known as a biblical preacher with soul-stirring illustrations. He began Praying for our Pastors in 2014 to encourage pastors to "run with endurance the race set before them." The mission statement is "no Pastor left behind." He is also an instructor in the district and state congress of Oklahoma where he teaches Creative Ways of Teaching and expository preaching. He also mentors young preachers helping them develop their love for the Word of God. Pastor G enjoys traveling around the country sharing with Pastors and parishioners the importance of prayer in the church.

My life testimony of a 15-year-old, off and on relationship with a man that I so deeply loved to the point where I was so blinded to the fact that I was dealing with a Strong hold, and had a soul-tie with this person. A soul-tie is a spiritual connection that forms between two people whether emotionally or sexually that if not broken can cause a person to lack the strength to be free. Throughout this book I will be talking about my journey to freedom. God delivered me after years of repeated cycles of lies, cheating, and manipulation, but now I'm free, and you can be as well. I'm Keshun Jones, and I was born and raised from Dallas, T.X. I'm a Mother of 3 that love reading, music, fashion, and praise dancing as a soloist. Also, I have a calling for the homeless and teaching the word of God. Furthermore, I enjoy, and have a passion for helping other women, become free from toxic relationships by giving my testimony about how God delivered me from a 15 year old off and on, long term toxic relationship. Also, I have a Facebook page that I would love for readers to join called "Deliverance From My Strong Enemy" so they can continue to grow in happier and healthier relationships.

This book contains poems by people who "beheld" Jesus, who had some contact with Him, be it brief and indirect, or an extended relationship. Brokenness is a rite of passage experience by all of humanity. Broken to Win is a journey that takes the reader from brokenness to wholeness and from defeat to victory. It is a part of my personal struggles to success and to let the reader know that they too can come out victorious if they endure the process. We were born to win so we must fight through the struggles and never give up.

After visiting several churches in South Carolina, I understood why so many veterans are in the ministry. Why are our weekly veteran meetings Christ-Centered and Faith-Based? Why do we facilitate our meetings with prayer, and testimony, and focus on spiritual healing to deal with our military conversion to civilian life? Many of the attendees are disabled with various symptoms. Since triggers cause veterans to display an undesirable reaction to general conversations, faith-based and Christian values help in coping skills. Rev. Dr Ernest Branch was born in Columbia, South Carolina and raised in Long Branch, New Jersey. He graduated from Long Branch High School and served in the USMC from 1956-1986. He later graduated from Shaw University with a Bachelors of Art. Graduated from Cambridge College, Master of Education, GordonConwell Theological Seminary Urban Campus, Diploma of Religious Education, Graduated from Newburgh Theological Seminary Doctor of Philosophy in Biblical Studies, Doctor of Education Specialization in Christian Education. This book is incredibly organized and very easy to follow along. Readers will have no questions regarding what the author shares with them, but they will be intrigued and most likely ask themselves questions on how to better themselves as followers of God. I like how the author focuses on the nine godly qualities and really expands upon each one. These qualities are truly the essence of God. Mr. Mead's no nonsense and truthful statements challenge the reader's mind and stimulate the soul to ultimately be the fruit God so longs for His children to be. Manuscript Review EditorXulon PressCultivating the Fruit of the SpiritOutside of becoming born-again Christians, growing in godliness is our next greatest challenge. This involves seeking to be the persons God wants all of us to become in our attitudes, behaviors, values and character. The Apostle Paul highlights qualities representing part of God's divine nature in Galatians 5:22-23. This book can be a great resource to steer us in understanding and applying these characteristics. The author brings out some new and important perspectives as he guides us to think deeper on this topic. Practical principles of interpretation and logic lead us through this process. Going public with our faith is a powerful way to draw attention to our Christian witness. This puts us in the spotlight. Exhibiting these qualities will reflect the scope of the godly qualities present in each of us. This book is written by a seasoned Christian professional counselor who has a unique perspective to this topic. This book is also a great resource for Bible classes and sermon material. Douglas L. Mead has completed a 40 year career in the social services field, serving 32 years as the CEO of licensed Christian agencies providing foster care, adoption and counseling services. He is also a highly experienced professional Christian counselor. He has taught Bible classes at churches over the years and has preached over 600 times for a variety of churches. He has also been a presenter at professional conferences. Mr. Mead has received several awards for his leadership and service from state and national professional organizations. He is also the author of a previous book which came out in 2021 entitled "Going Deeper with God, Addressing Challenging Issues in Our Relationship with God."

Be an observer of life. Let love walk in. If love needs to go, then let love walk out. Feel the pain, the joy and the grief. My words are inspired by life, people, nature, joy, grief, love and loss. Many things can inspire the human heart. I've learned over the years of being a long-time hospice nurse that I'd rather feel pain then to not feel at all. Life can get messy, but we get through it with the help of others. When we do get through our uncomfortable season, we can experience joy and fully appreciate the extent of that emotion. We also inherit the compassion to help others through their tough seasons. I encourage you to keep your hearts open, no matter what happens. Love always wins! -Jeanene Kranyik I have worked 35 years in the healthcare field. I was a Certified Nursing Assistant working in nursing homes, homehealth, a hospital and group homes for developmentally disabled children and adults. After 9 years and working my way through college I became a Registered Nurse. I started out in the hospital as a medical surgical nurse, then worked as a hospice nurse for 18 years. I took a break from hospice and worked almost four more years with developmentally disabled adults. I was drawn back to hospice nursing where I continue to work as an On Call visit nurse.

Have you ever wondered why when you were sure you communicated clearly your friend still didn't get what you were saying? The words we use have attached to them our emotions, our history, our own interpretation, our dreams, our desires, our fears, and so much more. Our words paint pictures in our mind and affect what we hear. Thus, our words don't have a standard meaning but rather a usage that is influenced by our mental pictures. Not until we see all of this in what the other person is saying, until we have practiced visual listening, has true communication happened. Hardy will show you how your mental pictures affect how you communicate and how you hear others. "Blind shares a new perspective and toolkit on how we should relate to others by improving the clarity of our communication while also building empathy to improve how well we see and hear others. Blind has different ways of framing information through a balance of practical exercises, personal and professional anecdotes, and biblical references, and communication and psychology research, which is helpful to thoroughly understand the concepts in an entertaining way. - Grace Bassett, PhD, Communication "Blind is absolutely brilliant! Hardy sought to deal with one of the most serious problems of communication breakdowns, between people, especially couples. He draws from numerous examples, including his own life, to expose how communication breaks down but he also offers very constructive suggestions to overcome this problem. Jeanette and I have found his insights most relevant and useful. - Cecil Peasley, Founder and President of Living Ministries International Exter Hardy III is married to his blessing, Lisa, and together they have eight children and seven grandchildren. He has served as Pastor at Pole Line Road Baptist Church in Davis, CA since March 1991. He loves cross-cultural ministry and the communication challenges that brings. God has blessed Exter with the opportunity to serve on six different continents. He has his M. Div. and D. This book contains 102 standalone chapters, with each one addressing a different topic. Every chapter has a brief introduction by the author and then Bible passages/verses that pertain to the topic. The passages/verses were found by repeatedly reading through multiple Bible translations. They go considerably beyond what could be found using a concordance, plus there is no need to sift through hundreds of unrelated concordance matches for the fraction that could be found using that search method. It contains over 3,300 applicable passages with over 6,700 verses that are a highly valuable resource for: sermon preparation, youth group message preparation, growth-life-community group preparation, devotionals, and personally going really deep into Scripture on any of a wide variety of topics. While the verses it contains are direct from the Bible, it clearly and absolutely does not replace or reduce the importance of reading the Bible. The author is a servant who welcomed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior in 1989. His growth has been mainly through serving, nine mission trips, and studying the Bible. It was on the third mission trip that God sent a clear message to faithfully read the Bible and since then the author has consistently & passionately read through 28 Bibles, spanning five translations. On the second read through, God made it clear that He wanted the author to apply the Bible in his own life, and after a few more read-throughs, God made it clear that He wanted him to also help others apply it in their lives. The primary ministries the author has served in are radio ministry technical production, children's ministry for 12 years, transitioning with an overlap to youth ministry for 25 years, with considerable adult ministry woven into the mix.
