I was Born and raised in San Diego California, joined the U.S. Army from 1972 to 1976, got married and bought our first home in 1977. I had numerous sales jobs. I loved talking to people and enjoyed helping everyone figure out what they really wanted out of life. I became a Certified Nurses Aid for over a year, then a Licensed Psychiatric Technician for over three years before becoming a Correctional Officer promoted up the ranks from Officer, Sergeant, Lieutenant and finally retiring as a Correctional Counselor II for the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation in 2008. I taught many subjects within the Department, focusing on communication, fair treatment, and lifestyle improvement. I began seriously studying the bible and its value, not only to us all in a religious sense, but also in its value as an everyday inspirational guideline for positive growth in every aspect of our lives. Jesus has brought me many rewards and has answered many of my prayers. Once I give my prayers to Jesus, He gives me, sometimes within hours, or days or weeks, answers that are easy to recognize. And sometimes I have waited months before I get an answer. Patience is the key, along with the peace of mind. I enjoy jogging, bicycling, playing soccer, hiking and camping. I started digging deeply into Revelation so I could understand the book better myself. After three years of intense study and research, I felt I had to share my understanding with as many people as possible. This book and my daily sharing the word will help me do this for you. If you have questions or comments, biblecentisis@yahoo.com is where you can contact me. God bless you. Amen

Sometimes we date the potential of a person, and overlook the reality of who they are. That's why I call this book "Dating Potential". We enter into and often remain in relationships hoping the other person will grow or change. That's where the mistake lies. We place the weight of our decision to be with them on hope. Hope that they will one day become the person we imagine they can be. I realized that imaginary person is typically who we actually enter into a relationship with. Meet "Potential". This book offers some realistic guidelines, though not exhaustive, of what to consider when you enter relationships prior to marriage. Reading this also affords each one of us to take an introspective look at ourselves to evaluate whether or not we are doing the very things we are expecting or desire in our future spouse. Are we energy in motion or are we Potential? Selah has a strong passion for sharing the gospel. She has embraced and put into action the call on her life to lead ministry groups, teach, and minister through dance in multiple churches at home and abroad. Becoming an author has been another way for her to share her passion with the masses. Her desire is to see people become believers of God through faith in Jesus Christ. Her aspiration is to inspire and uplift believers all over the world and encourage them to achieve EVERYTHING God has called them to be, while experiencing life more abundantly through Christ Jesus!

In 1958, I found myself pregnant and unmarried. I was living in England. The father of the child was not Catholic, but wanted to marry me. He was studying to be a CPA, young and immature, terrified of his parents finding out, and moneyless. I did not see marriage as a solution to a problem. As a teacher I would have been dismissed for unprofessional behavior. John's friends suggested that he just walk away as there was no way of proving paternity. One afternoon he took me to see a doctor who would give advice. It did not take long for me to realize that I was in an abortion office. I fled from the evil scene, past John and never saw him again. I emigrated to Montreal, Canada where my brother was living and moved in to live with his fiancé. I planned with the Catholic Crusade of Rescue to have my baby adopted. I swore that I would never attempt to reclaim him. Born and raised in a Catholic family, attending Catholic boarding school for seven years, then Catholic Women's college the idea of abortion was firmly entrenched as murder. When I found myself pregnant, I felt that I had no choice but to leave my country and emigrate to Canada. I eventually married a Catholic man, had five children, and became a very successful college professor. When the adoption laws were changed in Canada, I attempted to find my son but received no help from the Catholic adoption society. Several years later, my brother located him over the internet. We were re-united very happily when he was forty-seven. The secret was out, and all my friends rejoiced with me.

The world turned upside down and came to a screeching halt at the beginning of 2020 when the deadly COVID-19 virus swept across the globe and killed millions in its wake. Author Jackie A. James was diagnosed with the disease in March 2020 and was in critical condition. Not only was she diagnosed with covid-19, but also double pneumonia and the flu. But thanks to the incredible power of God and the quick medical attention from the hospital staff, she was healed. While I Was Under: Surviving Covid-19 "Thirty-Five Days of Peace" is her incredible story of diagnosis, survival, and recovery. Experience the fear of a patient who didn't know she would survive, the unconditional love her family and loved ones had for her, and her faith in a Lord who held her in His arms as she slowly, but surely recovered. This is an incredible story from the perspective of someone who was diagnosed with the deadly virus at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic. Even with her being in the critical state she was in; it is incredible how she is able to recount what she remembers and talk about what others told her. What a blessing she is still around to tell her story. Many families will be able to relate to her story, whether they had loved ones who were diagnosed or endured COVID themselves. "In this short story, you will see the tender heart of love and careful words of instruction of Mother. The law of kindness is on Mother's tongue. She demonstrates watchful protection over Cammy and Sammy as she daily is in their presence. Parents can easily relate the mother's heart, akin to the heart of Jesus as He is to His children. A wonderful and useful book. Had I had this book when my children were small, I certainly would have made use of it. I highly recommend this for all ages!" Patti Roberts- married homeschooling mother of seven with growing number of grandbabies. "Mara-lee has given us a tremendous gift. Christians throughout history have systematically taught the faith to their children. This practice of systematic training in a catechism has become largely neglected by the Church in the last generation. Mara-lee's hope is to bridge the gap between the old ways of training our kids up in solid doctrine, allowing them to wrestle with the deep things of God, and modern children's story telling. I hope many find her work to be a blessing to the spiritual life of their children and a warm treasure in their home during the intimate times as the family gathers." Pastor Jeff Durbin- married father of four, sought after for his debate skills and also the main host of ApologiaRadio.com "Mara-lee has peeked into a child's inquiring mind and has given solid answers to questions about how to hear and respond to God's voice. Children will love the way Cammy's Adventures introduces them to new experiences in their lives. This delightful book will be a great tool for opening up discussions both at home and in the classroom." Donna Lapp- married mother of 3, grandmother of 13 and great grandmother of 10. She is also a retired elementary grade school teacher.

Bucky Teaches Bravery is the second in the My, oh my! Character building series. This book, and those like it, will teach children to look beyond what they see in front of them to find the lesson hidden within the goofy pages. This outlet will help children grow and learn with fun characters and character building stories and references so they can choose to become more. Growing up in the small town of Foxworth, MS, there were never many ambitions for more out of life. Small town people living small town dreams. My biggest dream has been to write. I have been writing books since high-school. Never publishing until recently! I have allowed my children to inspire me to write more. These cute little books we create together have become the center of our lives. We talk about them all the time. They make me happy because they bring my children such joy. It is my pleasure to share what God has given me through my children with the world.

What is the true theme of the Bible? Though there are many possible answers, the overarching message we read is one of authority, for the authority of God stands above everything else. God is sovereign; He alone has the ultimate authority, and none are above him. So, how do we make sense of this theme? How do we construct the larger picture to recognize this authority? KINGDOM AUTHORITY: Understanding the Bible through Authority As Children of Light in the Kingdom of Darkness by Pastor Tracy Benningfield is all about understanding the Bible through the lens of Kingdom Authority. Pastor Tracy shows readers how authority is the true center point of scripture and that by understanding how authority works, we can better perceive who we are in Christ, the victory we have in Christ, and the authority found in being a believer. The consequences of separating from Him and the fall of man to sin are also crucial in comprehending God's sovereign authority. Understanding the Bible scripture by scripture is like putting together a puzzle; once you construct the framework, it becomes easy to connect the pieces and understand how it all fits together. Once you've put it together for the first time and seen the larger picture, you can make sense of the whole puzzle discovering the place for each piece. Join Pastor Tracy in putting the pieces together and discovering how to emerge from the darkness to become a child of light.

The primary focus of The Covenant Relationship is to convey the sacredness of marriage in how it relates to the relationship between Christ and the Church; and husband and wife. It strongly relays the message of taking notice of the sanctity of marriage before saying "I do". The Covenant Relationship also captures a contrast of what God requires versus what people choose to settle for within their marriage and relationships. The Author shares her confession of how she took the sacred vows of her marriage for granted. She openly admits this as a fault; leading to a compelling need for deliverance; forgiveness; and healing. Through revelation and a deeper relationship with God, she has come to learn how sacred the covenant agreement is between man and God; and husband and wife. The Author also encourages others to learn how profound a union can be when we adhere to the provision of love as God has so ordained it to be. The covenant is between both husband and wife; but more significantly, it is with God. Much of the info being presented is from a biblical viewpoint; and the included scriptures are an added benefit for study. For those who are planning to marry, The Covenant Relationship will help prepare you mentally for your sacred union. For those who are already married, there's encouragement to continue to protect your sacred union at all costs. If you are currently single, you will be encouraged to prepare, while in your alone time with God, for that special person that is in route to you. No matter where your relationship status is currently, there is something for everyone in this powerful message of The Covenant Relationship.

God never stops directing us to Him. We choose which direction we'll take. My struggles as a divorcee didn't stop at being hurt emotionally. My children needed care and healing. I had to start at zero where my finances were concerned. Spiritually, I remained faithful for a season, but the weight and fatigue of responsibilities clouded my vision of God. Even when I thought God couldn't or wouldn't love me anymore, He remained faithful. His love drew me to Him. His Word revealed all the lies of Satan that I believed and the self-condemnation that came from those lies. I am a dear child of God. His Divine Providence guides and sustains me. As I continue to trust Him, His Spirit helps me to be more Christ-like each day. That means victory in my struggles and a place in the body of Christ designated by God Himself. Originally from Denver, CO, I currently reside in Wheat Ridge, CO. I am retired with five children and fifteen grandchildren. I love music, drawing, crafting, writing in my spare time and spending time with family and friends. "Divorced and in the Church" came from my realization of the many divorced women in the Church with the same or similar struggles and conflicts as my own and my desire to help them remain strong in their faith.

America's rapidly shifting demographics are shredding the underlying assumptions that shaped many of today's evangelical organizations. God is giving white evangelicals a once-in-a generation opportunity to release their iron grip on the tables of leadership in favor of a new, far more complex generation of leaders drawn from the myriad of cultures increasingly populating the United States. But as Saul gave David his armor to fight Goliath and it didn't fit, so white evangelicals are giving new leaders old tools and they're telling us it doesn't fit! Are we open to pursue a pristine vision together with our brothers and sisters who once stood outside our organizations? Our choice will go far in determining the role of white evangelicals in a non-white America. Rev. Mark Marchak served as an urban missionary with Missions Door for 45 years, first as Team Leader in New York City and then as the mission's Director of City Ministry. He is the son of second-generation parents with roots in Russia and Slovakia. Mark graduated from Taylor University and Denver Seminary. Together with his wife, Karen, the Marchaks have lived in New York City for over 40 years during which they raised two children in the City's public school system. A wrestler and football player in college, Mark resumed a passion for painting after his retirement. He loves the Yankees and old 1930's monster movies. His prayer is that this book will alert leaders of predominantly white Christian organizations that a demographic tsunami is crashing over us and we must respond in God's timing.

This book uses some experiences with dogs to meditate on some challenges that relate to our pursuit of God. None of the analogies in this devotional are meant to be perfect Scriptural parallels. They are simple observations that may cause us to think a little deeper about a Bible verse, a quality of our God, or an area of our lives where we can do better. The author is a lay person who hopes that stories about his dogs will challenge us all to pursue Christ with more passion. Ron is retired and currently enjoys facilitating classes at a Christian addiction recovery program on a volunteer basis. He greatly appreciates the invaluable help of Larry and Jim. Ron has a wonderful wife and two daughters. And yes - they all love dogs!
