The first words out of my doctor's mouth were simple yet critical to my success. "Reduce stress," he said. I dismissed his statement, but in the end, it was those simple words I should have seriously considered in the first place. Had I understood all the hidden sources of stress packed away in my subconscious from previous challenges in life, even in childhood, I would have sought help and I wouldn't have had to wait so long to be a mother.Here's what I didn't know that would have made a world of difference in my painful journey: When a young child goes through stress, they create a story in their mind to understand it.
