In the hidden magical Secondworld, the cauldron is about to boil over with intrigue. Mage bounty hunter Athena enthusiastically slaps her hex cuffs on handsome homicide suspect Kellan Mordigan, only to become the hunted as a necromancer who literally stole Kellan's heart looks to finish the job and smash the patriarchy while she's at it...Athena Ellison, a powerful young mage who spurns her family's old-money expectations to become a bounty hunter, has a geomancer's talent for finding things-but sometimes the things that find her first have teeth and a thirst for magical blood. She captures Kellan Mordigan, a mage who's the main suspect in a triple homicide; and as a bonus, the Mordigans and the Ellisons have been feuding for about a century. But right after Athena tracks Mordigan to a coffee shop and arrests him, they're attacked by a group of revenants, and even Athena's supernatural fighting skills barely get them out alive. As much as Athena wants to believe the worst of Mordigan, she's drawn into the quest to uncover the truth behind the Council's actions. Amid monsters and mayhem and with Mordigan in tow, Athena must put together a plan to defeat a necromancer who has made a literal deal with the devil and evade the tightening net of the Council's warrant, all while preserving the secrets of the Secondworld and keeping her world-ending power under control...

When Cambridge University awarded a PhD degree on the thesis submitted on Pāṇini to Atul Rishi Raj Popat titled "In Pāṇini We Trust- Discovering the Algorithm for Rule Conflict Resolution in the Aṣṭādhyāyī," it was publicized by Atul Rishi Raj and his supervisor in social, print and mainstream media that 2500-year-old algorithm of Pāṇini has been cracked. This thesis submitted to the University of Cambridge on Pāṇini is a miserable fiasco. It cannot be deemed a work by PhD student but rather by a perplexed Sidhhantkaumudi's sophomore in the guise of Pāṇinian Disciple. This false propaganda cajoled us into deflating the exuberance rife in the media about an ostensible claim of cracking the 2500-year-old algorithm of Pāṇini. So we attempted this rebuttal in detail with evidence to bust the falsehood of the new mechanism conjectured in Cambridge University PhD thesis and bring the truth to light. Hope this detailed explanation with evidence will help readers and scholars to understand the greatness of Pāṇini from Pāṇini's perspective and the importance of ancient Ārṣa-vidhi (method) to learn Sanskrit and Vedic grammar invented by ancient Indian scholars of Pāṇinian tradition.

Mei is dead, a reminder that all choices have consequences. Australia is the last place Chambers wants to be. The first time was for honour, the second time for duty, now it's personal. Whatever the people of Gulgong are hiding, they are at least covering up Henry's murder. But Chambers will not go alone. His cloud of witnesses haunts his every step, memories of the Opium War, the Taiping Rebellion, and the Eureka Stockade. They taunt and mock him, reminding him of his greatest curse, that he is still alive and could not save them. Biddy said that when he came, Chambers unsettled too many ghosts. In trying to save others, he tried to save himself, but sometimes the dead are best left alone. Some things said cannot be unsaid, and some things cannot be forgotten.

I don't think it's an overstatement to say that anyone who knows Julie is better for it. She lifts up everyone. For much of her life she did this just by being herself. Now she had taken some of the inspiration she finds around her, in nature and in everyday activities and submitted that to paper. As a result, we will all be enriched again by her presence.David McHam, Instructional Professor Jack J. Valenti School of Communication University of Houston

Becoming the new Marketing Manager at Maxwell and Locke was a game changer. I was hell-bent on proving I deserved this job and that it wasn't because my friendship with one of the CEOs helped me score the new job title...despite all the rumors saying it was. Well, screw that. Ten years of sweat and hard work were why I sat in a large corner office with a killer Manhattan view. More focused than ever, it was time to take the bull by the horns. And God help the person who stood in my way. Things I left behind in Seattle, Washington: A promising career at a top marketing firm, the past I was desperate to escape, and obviously my sense of direction. Now I was standing in the middle of New York City, lost and cursing at my phone. If I didn't get to Maxwell and Locke soon, I wouldn't only be late but also blow the chance to make a good impression on my new boss, Mason Quinn. And I needed that more than anything. One wrong turn, an unfortunate collision, and an expensive suit drenched in my soy chia latte were not how I wanted to start my first day. Then there was the other little problem I had. The drop-dead gorgeous man whose suit I'd ruined was my new boss. And boy, did he look angry. Previously released in a Kindle World in 2017. Updated 2023.

My life as an entrepreneur began in Minnesota trapping muskrats and selling their hides, then evolved to serving in board rooms across the country. More than once as I recalled my life experiences, I found myself saying, "Oh my gosh, what was I thinking?" How does a young man go from rabble rouser and high school drop-out to world traveler riding the wave of the new computer industry and running one of the most successful specialized IT companies in the country? Hard work? Yep. A sense of adventure? Yep. Impulsive and a little crazy? Affirmative. And lucky! In the process of compiling this book, I was able to look back on a life well lived and ended up with a much better understanding of who I am and what makes me tick. The adventures recounted here follow the twists and turns that took me from being a kid in the wilds of Minnesota to hiking El Camino in Northern Spain at the age of 80. Along the way, I became a sailor in Uncle Sam's Navy where I learned to program computers, went to Vietnam to see a war, worked for an international consulting firm, lived overseas in Puerto Rico and Venezuela, learned Spanish, founded two companies, married some wonderful women, and became the proud father of my daughter Kimberly and son Bruce. My latest calling is serving as a mentor with SCORE and coaching other muskrat trappers as they begin their journeys. It is one of the most gratifying things I've done. I've also begun writing the sequel to The First 80: The First 80 - the Next Decade.
