Children often imagine inanimate objects have personalities, especially a beloved toy or blanket. It was exactly that sentiment that lead author S. Bell intended to create, a charmingly inventive story centered on a towel and his family. "I had the notion of selecting an item that would be familiar to children and recasting it in the role of friend," Bell says. Towel Tales shares the story of Tony Towel and his family. Adopting a sweet and gentle tone directed at toddlers and young children, Tony shares his adventures while living with the Miller family. A day at the pool particularly got Tony's interest. Interspersed in the dialogue, Bell seeks to offer teachable moments for little ones. She says, "My hope is the story will captivate the imaginations of little ones and the adults who are reading it to them."

The deadly war currently raging in West Africa in a part of Cameroon, formerly called the British Southern Cameroons, is the least reported war in the world. This is because the French Cameroon Government has forcibly prevented interested foreign reporters from entering the country and local reporters from independently visiting the war zone. The UN's casual treatment of the conflict as a triviality, Britain's reticence in engaging in a mediation as a resolution tool (solution), France's remote involvement in maintaining the status quo in the war zone are all components dragging the war on. The complexity of the history of Southern Cameroons, now renamed Ambazonia, originates from a foreign imperialistic policy implemented nearly sixty years ago. Additional foreign powers today continue to enforce an ill-conceived policy that was never in the best interest of Southern Cameroons, forcefully keeping two distinctly different groups of people (Southern Cameroons and La Republique du Cameroun) together out of greed and expediency. The war is intense and ongoing. But to fully understand the current situation, one needs to know the edicts and mandates imposed on Southern Cameroons from 1919 through the 1960s and 1970s. This book underlines them all. This book will provide the international community, media, negotiators, and international policymakers and decision-making people with an in-depth understanding of the conflict, a raging war that is claiming far too many lives.

Birmingham, Alabama, is a bustling city on the move in the era of Prohibition. It's a time of corruption, a time where it is tough to be an honest man of the law. Bureau of Investigation officer Francis Laurent finds that out the hard way when his partner and best friend August Day is gunned down in cold blood by a corrupt BOI agent and his gang of thugs during a high-stakes heist on the highway. When Laurent's commanding officer pulls him off the case without a good reason, this man of the law begins to suspect a cover-up and decides to take action to exact justice on those responsible. Finding allies in unexpected places, his winding tale of revenge and redemption is told through the eyes of his estranged daughter Raina, as she nears the end of her time in a state medical institution. If anyone can understand Francis's desire to mete out justice and make the punishment fit the crime, it's Raina. She has more than a few of her own demons buried just beneath the surface when it comes to playing judge, jury...and executioner.
