This book is about exploring the dimensionalities of who we are as we strive to communicate the deeper aspects of our being. Giving creative voice to "e;real-self expression"e; requires our establishing true communication with a deeper consciousness within us - a turning inward to capture and seize the thoughts, experiences, emotions, and myriad of memories that reside inside our mind - to push beyond the limitation of words and to stand in the spaces between what may seem to be inharmonious aspects of our self to find synchrony. This is the gift of our psychic symphony. The only question is one of what we will compose. Sherron Lewis and Shelley StokesThe authors, Shelley Stokes, Ph.D. and Sherron Lewis, LMFT, have been pursuing a conceptual, clinical and experiential exploration of the many dimensions and phenomena contained in the human struggles inherent in knowing, being, expressing and living as an expression of SELF that is more REAL and less a manifestation of distorting, inhibiting, fear inducing and submissiveness to accommodate to the perceived demands and expectations of external forces and emotionally important relationships. In this, their latest effort in this endeavor, they continue to employ a methodology that includes clinical theoretical formulations, neuropsychological findings, poetic and philosophical offerings, spiritual references, clinical therapeutic vignettes, and personal reflections. Throughout their writings, Lewis and Stokes, creatively share aspects of their own personal explorations and reflections on their journeys to greater self-authenticity and freedom of expressions of the self. In fact, it is through their use of personal self-disclosures, that they offer the reader a form of interpersonal experiential intimacy in teaching and encouraging the same in the reader's journey of self-discovering and expression, thus making accessible to the reader, especially the non-clinical professionals, a greater access to integrated knowing through concepts, emotions, reflections and experiences. Through this unique approach, the authors engage in a powerful means of communication by inviting the reader to personally engage in the demanding, complex, exciting, energizing and releasing effort to get beyond habitual ways of being in finding, creating and expressing that which has been waiting to be brought to greater fruition in REAL-SELF expression. Errol F. Leifer, PhD., ABPP ABN FABNSherron Lewis is a licensed marriage and family therapist in private practice in Northern California. This is a story of how God took the lives of two people and turned it into one love affair that was so real it had to be written in the stone by the Almighty himself. Just imagine knowing someone for years and, at the same time, never laid eyes on each other until God was ready-from a boy to a man and from a girl to a woman.God's desire is for us to make the right choices to line up with his word. Understand that He loves us, He wants the best for us, He wants us to be happy, and He wants us to be complete. God has a plan for every one of us, and He's the one who worked this out for us, not man or woman. So wait on the Lord and be of good courage. It is about His divine plan for our lives. It is simply fabulous! As you read this true-life story, you'll see how God prepared two people's heart, mind, and soul together. We both went through some things before God using this special-gifted woman as His vessel Mrs. Ann B to deliver His word. God then said, "e;It is time now,"e; which took thirty years before He released the blinders so it can touch the lives of so many with this true and amazing story to help focus the unfocused.

Pittsburgh on Your Plate is more than just a cookbook. It's a journey. It is filled with over 175 recipes and stories that define the city, its people, and its culture. Pittsburgh is a city founded and formed by hardworking immigrant families. It is a city proud to say that all people were and always are welcome. As the city evolved over the past several hundred years, so did its cuisine. The ethnic food became part of who we are. It defines our lives, celebrates our family times, and honors our traditions. These are recipes that have been handed down from generation to generation and gathered over the years from my family, my husband's family, and many close friends. Most were on handwritten recipe cards, in worn notebooks, and penciled on scraps of paper stuck in cookbooks, all kept so dear. Recipes run the spectrum from those from my own "e;numbers-running bookie,"e; pickle-packing Grandma Mary to the special Pittsburgh cookie table section featuring thirty of my favorite cookie table cookies. Italian, German, Polish, and many more recipes exemplify the food Pittsburgh loves. Its stories will make you chuckle, raise a brow, and warm your heart. Family tales, ethnic lore, historic and city anecdotes embrace what it is to be part of this wonderful, unique black and gold Yinzer city of Pittsburgh. Where will our misuse of our planet take us? The title refers to a time in the not-too-distant future and asks questions about what our future will look like. Also, the book asks what do we truly know about our beginnings on this planet. Do the cycle of birth life and the finality of death apply to the human race, or can we avoid extinction? To what lengths might we go in such an endeavor? What we are learning through scientific advancements suggests that almost anything is possible. We are witnessing science fiction become science fact in everything from automobiles to aircraft, spaceflights, and genetic manipulation of flora and fauna. Will we end up surviving on earth or somewhere else? I hope readers find this writing entertaining and also thought-provoking because only clarity of thought will enable the survival of the human race going forward.

This book is one of honor and patriotism and is a true story. This book tells of one man's many struggles manning three of the United States nuclear missiles. The time period of this epic story takes place during the late 1970s and during the Cold War. The struggle was caused by the many social pressures of the day. The pressures also came from the lack of qualified personnel crewing those missiles. The Cold War was won by the United States due in part to the mighty Pershing missile, without firing a shot!
