When I looked at Rosalia's face she was pale as a ghost. Her smile was gone and for a brief moment I thought her eyes looked "e;dead."e; This haunting image would stay with me for years. Eventually I came to understand why I had the haunting image of Rosalia. I had allowed my own unknown prejudice to show through and it targeted her. I condoned the prejudice message that said it was okay to treat Rosalia unworthy simply because she was different from me. Rosalia was cut deep with the knife of prejudice and the scar would be eternal. Our youth today have an array of social issues they are trying to cope with and to comprehend. As an example: they may struggle with friendship, bullying, prejudice, or drugs. Our youth are often confused, searching for answers, and in need of guidance. Parent, families, school staff, the juvenile system, church and civic youth groups, and the medical profession are all educators who impact the social development of today's youth. Intertwining Choices is a curriculum designed to aide these educators as they guide our youth through formative years today and to socially empower them as they traverse into the realm of adulthood tomorrow.

Carey's world has brought much love and happiness, as well as plenty of bitterness and betrayal. Would drugs, sex, and disease be the downfall of it all? Could the spirit really lead someone to true love as they say it could? When asked what, why, or how you did something, a person's response is simply, "e;I was led by the spirit! What do you think?"e; True enough, love may be in the air, but there are many other devious things brewing just as well. You should definitely be careful with what you do, what you say, and to whom you do or say it to. After reading this, you too will know what it means to be careful what you ask for or what it means by the phrase right before your very eyes. Trust me when I say it truly is a small world after all and not everything that glitters is gold!

This tries to provide an account of Napoleon's, Charles XII's, and Hitler's invasions of Russia. It compares the three efforts, indicates why the author thinks they all failed, evaluates whether anyone could have succeeded and if they made any sense from the point of view of the aggressor.

Alexander was conceived during the Fifth World War and the World people were warring, which leads to a fight for survival. The reasons for the wars are never mentioned, but we can infer that the war was about wealth, control, and power. His birth and natural mother situation will reflect the dire and uncertainty of the times. His mother dies immediately after birth, and he becomes a ward of Mary. In Mary's care, he is given the name of the greatest known warrior of many past centuries, Alexander. Mary basically schools and trains Alexander in world affairs and warfare inspired by her dead husband, Colonel John's aspirations. He is trained in the art of war, but also with an added twist of intellectual training. The child's natural, innate, unusual mental abilities to learn, retain information, analytic ability-six, seven and eight senses-creates a one-of-a-kind warrior leader. As Alexander grows, he is tested mentally and physically, and the results are extraordinary. His leadership abilities are a conglomeration of many great leaders of the past, and his warrior abilities also reflect the many great warriors of the past. These attributions are tested during the Examinations to enter the Roughful Military Institute. He and thirty-one other people survived the almost-impossible trials and challenges of the tests and lived. At the school, under Alexander's leadership, his class exceeds every standard the school tests. And after leaving the school, he is recruited to lead a secret special paramilitary unit, a secret weapon controlled and mandated by the World Congress and the World's President. All impossible missions assigned the Operatives under the command of Alexander are completed successfully. As a result, when the President of the World is threatened, Alexander is called to head the President's personal security force. Under the watchful command of Alexander, all the President's threats to his health are despond or eliminated. Because of Alexander's unique style of leadership and peaceful character, he is voted to replace the President of the World who desperately wants to retire. During his tenure as President of the World for two years, the world experiences a period of peace and enlightenment. Then out of the blue, the World is faced with enslavement and domination from an advanced human race a galaxy away. Again, Alexander's leadership is tested, and he leads the World people to an almost-impossible victory. The World will enjoy a long peace. After a total of ten years, Alexander retires as President of the World; he and his family go home. He and his family will enjoy the leisurely life of the country.

The Dentist Chair is a compelling fictional novel about Dr. Harry James Maddox, once a highly respected and trusted pillar of the community. The Valley, as its residents call it, is snuggled deep within the basin of Southern California and is a pretentious small and tight-knit community. If there ever was a city that could be classified as utopia, it was Montgomery Valley. Outsiders are rarely accepted, but the Valley welcomed Dr. Maddox and his wife, Katrina, with open arms. They were an attractive couple. He was tall, lean, and extremely handsome, and Katrina was beautiful in her own right. Their daughters, Beverly and Angela, by virtue of their birthright were considered true Montgomerians and were expected to marry and remain safe and snug in this cozy environment. Dr. Edward Jones, a native Montgomerian retired after forty years of practicing dentistry, leaving a patient base of one hundred to Dr. Maddox. Within five years, he grew his patient base to over three hundred and fifty. His life could not have been more perfect or happy until he lost focus, bringing shame upon his family, his patients, and his community. His failure to distinguish between right and wrong, between what was moral and immoral, what was professional and unprofessional brought a community to its knees, creating chaos, doubt, mistrust, disgust, and betrayal. There were lies, deceit, and moments of grandeur leading to the unexpected. This once-perfect community of Montgomery Valley will forever be soiled by the actions of one man.

Mitzi Libsohn's reputation of distinction stems from her extraordinary mental images which convey the force and power of life - they endure, they stir the emotions. The opulence of language, the intensity of color, at once produce and achieve the effect of a picture in words, as from a scene presented on stage by costumed actors. Her wondrous skill and profound sense of perception, are apparent in the quality and character of her text - the extraordinary arrangement and placement of her carefully chosen words, is in and of itself, an awesome achievement. In her writing, one discovers an elaborate interweaving of various themes, giving the interpretation of their roles several possibilities. Mitzi Libsohn's lines assume an existence of their own in a literary intersection which persists long after reading.

No Hood Required is a factual, sometimes comical, and emotional look at how racism in the USA has come full circle. There is no longer a reason to hide the hate of racism in this atmosphere of tolerance bolstered by the return to public displays of hate as demonstrated by everyday citizens, politicians, captains of industry, and the old guard compromised of the KKK, nationalists, and more recently, the current president of this nation. No hood required explores the open, in-your-face hate that exists today and how it has permeated every level of American society for all to see.

Saul will be taking you on an eighty-year verbal trip. You must fasten your reading seat belt because as you vicariously take this reading trip with him, some of the paths, lanes, dirt roads, highways, and expressways will be very bumpy; however, the scenes will be historically interesting. Billy, no Saul, no Mr. Bethay, no Airman Bethay, no Dean Bethay, no Big Ears, no the Dancer are a few of the names he is known by; what one calls him lets him know where he knows them from. When you finish reading Why I Have So Many Names, you may want to call him something else yourself too because he will take you back with him to the Cook County Training School, to Fort Valley State College, to Michigan State College, to Teachers College Columbia University, to Jersey City State College, and to the University of Hawaii. Airman Bethay will let you experience being in the Air Force for four years. The typist taught himself to type sixty-five words per minute on a manual typewriter. Mr. Saul will show you what it is like to teach high school boys and adults how to become better farmers. Dean Bethay will let you know what it is like to be an appreciated advisor in colleges and universities; counseling in junior high schools and colleges was Mr. Bethay's claim to fame. The professor ran workshops. The coordinator will share with you the personality it takes to work with different groups at the same time. The director was in charges of many programs for children and adults. The evaluator inspected summer camp programs for youth. The proofreader was in charge of editing books. "e;Honey"e; was noted for his great parties. The cook could hold his own in the kitchen. Watch out for the dancer when he is shooting pool. Doc spends most of his retirement time playing billiards and bid whist. The weekends are spent in the off and on Broadway theaters, concerts, and museums. The model at eighty-three-plus is still being asked to participate in fashion shows. Monday nights are reserved for Scrabble. Your generous purchasing donations will be used to help some needy students at Fort Valley State University, not the author. The author tries to live up to Fort Valley State (College) University's motto: If I have helped somebody as I traveled these eighty years, then my travel has not been in vain.

I have now completed the final phase of the journey which I began five years ago to fulfill a promise that I made to my mother - that being, to put into book form the several volumes of her literary writings. Subsequently, that promise has resulted in the creation of this exceptional edition, uniting it with her three previous literary achievements - "e;Immortal Kisses - Confessions Of a Poet,"e; "e;Songs Of You - A Postscript,"e; "e;Silhouettes - Literary Passageways,"e; and "e;What Is Love,"e; written by myself, a biography of my parents, detailing their profound romance and their lives together - the essence of my mother's writings. My promise has now been fulfilled beyond anything that I might have ever imagined, producing an outcome I never dared to envision - achieving recognition that I sought for so long, for my wonderful mother. At last, dreams have come true!

What she has been able to share, as well as information gleaned from other sources, is terrifying. The Nazis have taken their occult science and made it reality under the aegis of Projekt Regenschirm. They can raise the dead to fight for the Nazi cause. They are also creating new supersoldiers, ubermensch, that may very well be unstoppable on the battlefield. One man has been tasked with the impossible job of leading a commando team to penetrate the Nazi's most secure stronghold and render Regenschirm vulnerable to Allied destruction. He has ample motivation for doing so. His sister is the agent who first exposed Regenschirm and is now being subjected to the tender mercies of the SS in her captivity. His former girlfriend, who is another deep undercover Allied agent helping his sister with her work, has also gone missing with his sister's very last data drop on Regenschirm, and no one, not even the Nazis, knows where she is. Thus, Major Jonathan "e;Jack"e; Bradshaw has two very personal reasons for taking down Regenschirm for the Allied cause.
