A Reluctant Agnostic is a story about sincere, humble, joyous Christianity confronted by contradictory natural evidence-a tale of religious conviction at odds with science. The author grew up in the very unique Old German Baptist Brethren Church, where he was immersed in wholehearted fundamental faith, and he shares details of the Brethren experience with an insider's affection. Yet for all their distinctiveness, these plain-living people nevertheless embrace the same biblical precepts and theology as multimillions of other Christians, so the broader questions and issues raised in this book address a wide audience from their familiar Christian point of view. Furthermore, the author speaks movingly of the Gospel and savior he loved in a way even non-Christians will appreciate. But why did this reluctant agnostic lose his beloved faith? And how do these same questions relate to you? This is an important discussion which is relevant to everyone who values truth and contemplates mortality. Join him as he explores the distinctions between science and faith, and wrestles with how we can know for sure what's really real.

She Who Finds a Husband is about a young woman who was looking for love in all the wrong people. All she wanted was a husband, and it didn't matter what came along with that title. The Lord never intended for women to chase men or for a wife to find her husband. If it's done that way, it's already out of order. This book shows how God can use any situation that He chooses to show Himself mighty. In this story, you will see that He used an abusive husband to push his wife into God's arms. Through obedience and sacrifice, He was able to take her on an amazing, miraculous journey.

To the best of my knowledge understandably when I first saw the New Yorkers, I was in a state of euphoria concerning the awesome lifestyles of the great people on earth. I choked out a few words the first time I interacted with them. I immediately realized there is so much more to explore about their characteristics and to create a highly readable novel about them to the world's profundity of their lifestyles. Reading this novel will be more than ecstatic to add more time to your readings, and have you on the edge of your seat or bed, make you want to stay at one place to turn the last pages or finish the novel. So sweet without honey. Ecstatically, a great way to spend your ample time due to any action they take is complex and interesting scenario characters that deliver a good reading attention, an impressive array of characteristics. Writing about New Yorkers' lifestyle is entertaining that blends them all beautifully together, never letting the novel drop, keeping the reading flawlessly intact, and riveting. Reading about New Yorkers has no stopping especially about their insatiable educational background that refutes the imbued from their respective parents. They are talented, expressive, sophisticated, sexy, beautiful, courageous, and controversial, tending to conform to societal norms when it comes to dress codes and celebrate their beauty with clothes that accentuate their style and look dreary and bereft and elegant. New Yorkers' food IQ refrain from binging nonstop on an appalling diet of fried potato chips, jumbo sausages, fried eggs, and heavily salted bacon. They fix holiday period especially a scheduled period during which their activities in schools or other regular business are suspended. New Yorkers' lifestyles in sports are phenomenal especially when it comes to the Super Bowl, with a giant appetite that stands a record breaker every year. Music was first originated in Africa, but the transformation of its quality digital sound has long been transferred to New York and America as a whole in decades. One of the best Christmas spectacular is the celebration of playing Santa Claus in a New York role. They wish the world all the best, and hope the coming year repeats all the best and eliminates all the worst of the past. New Yorkers celebrate July 4-Independence Day annually, and at sometimes remember that fireworks are illegal in New York City. Memorial Day is a special public holiday to commemorate American soldiers who died in wars, and New Yorkers' patriotic tributes to honor and celebrate is awesome. New Yorkers have a uniquely diverse approach to Thanksgiving Day, a legal holiday marking the feast given in thanks for the harvest by the pilgrim colonists in 1621, celebrated on Thursdays in the month of November. New York parents have been treated exactly like kings and queens whether traditional or more unique in their Father's and Mother's days incessantly. New Yorkers' Halloween celebrations are one of the biggest carnivals in the world. Valentine's Day is the Christian feast day of Saint Valentine and the traditional day for sending a romantic card or gift, especially anonymously to somebody you love, on the date of February 14. As enunciated, few percentages of New Yorkers are gay and lesbian, and they're pretty happy about the status. New York City's New Year's Eve ball drop countdown celebration is fun and entertaining to witness. The festivities in the middle of Times Square is held annually with millions of spectators around the world.

Painting the Town contains a small collection of poetry and short stories. Some pieces are written in a bit of a dark perspective. You'll find that the short stories are written with little to no character description. That was an intentional feature to allow the reader to imagine their own version of the character in the story.

Being in the fight game for over forty years, I thought that is was the perfect time to write a book to educate young athletes on the dos and don'ts of any sport, be it boxing or baseball, when entering into the professional ranks, as well as the business side of it. I have seen too many professional athletes make millions of dollars, only to wind up completely broke in many cases after their respected careers are over or, in some instances, even before they are over. In today's world of sports and business, you need to be educated on the many details that you do not get taught in the portals of higher education. The waters are infested with sharks who are looking to take advantage of many young athletes when it comes to finances and sports; it has been this way, especially in boxing, since the dawn of the sport. Unprotected will give you the insight and vision that you will need to navigate your career in a direction that will protect and educate you, so that you do not wind up as another professional athlete who makes the national news of going broke. All my best to you as you read this book, and may you be blessed no matter what endeavor you path that you choose in life.

The year 2016 was heartbreaking for law enforcement agencies across the United States, with 140 officers being killed in the line of duty. Their deaths, and the deaths of those who died so long ago, should never be forgotten. Officer Down: 1850-1900, Volume 1 is a compilation of seventeen riveting stories of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty between 1850 and 1900. These stories are pulled directly from various newspapers across the United States, captivating the reader just as they did when first put to print. Many of the stories are so mesmerizing, you can practically hear the gunfire erupt while choking on the pungent aroma of spent gunpowder as it fills the air. The book begins with the shooting of Newark, New Jersey, police officers Benjamin Elsden and Augustus Dickerson in July 1876. The shootings were perpetrated by three notorious brothers, who met justice in an unconventional manner. The final chapter is a fascinating case involving the death of multiple law enforcement officers in the state of Washington at the hands of Thomas Blanck. This book is a tribute to all the men and women who wear a badge and carry a weapon for a living. These stories are retold, so they will never be forgotten.

My name is Cermalean Kay Kimber. I am a mother of four children, two girls and two boys. They are grown up now and married and have given me six grandchildren; three girls and three boys. I used to make up stories for my children when they were little and now I have my grandchildren to tell them to. I have always liked stories about magic and flying. I also love to draw all of the illustrations of my characters in my stories. So in this story called Starlight the Little Fairy & Her Friend I have used all of these in my story. It is a story about good overcoming the bad and how some time you may need a little help from your family and your friends. "e;Out of the Blue"e; is a mother's story of her family's transformation after learning their daughter wanted to become their son. Part study on GLBT social issues, part revelation of the personal journey toward accepting her transgender child, the author suggests that parents who say, "e;I just want my child to be happy!"e; might not realize what that really means. "e;At last. A smart, wise, and practical User's Manual of a memoir for ordinary small-town families whose children are no longer "e;normal"e; in the eyes of neighbors, relatives, and fellow churchgoers. Written for parents who feel lost, ashamed, and utterly helpless, this book offers down-to-earth examples of what to read, how to listen, and where to seek support from surprisingly sympathetic sources. Moore is a brave and unusual writer who includes notes, essays, and manifestos by others whose interpretations of family lore may be more accurate that her own. She moves back and forth in time to face her illusions, change her mind, and rethink past attitudes. This is the real deal: a how-to guide that keeps on working."e; --Sheryl O'Donnell, Professor of English, University of North Dakota"e;This touching account of a family's journey, from a mom's perspective, is not only heartwarming, but enlightening at the same time. The author opened her heart to her readers and shared the ups and downs her family faced during this unique time in their life. As a mom of an openly gay son myself, I have encountered several of the same thoughts, questions, confusions, and uncertainties as this author has shared in her story. We never get to etch out the exact path our children will walk in life, but reassuring them that they're loved and cherished, UNCONDITIONALLY, is key in any person's growth and inner strength. Regardless of your viewpoint on GLBT issues, this story will apply to some aspect of life for all parents, and what they want for their children. This is a must read to understand the thoughts, struggles, joys, and reliefs that go along with a transgender journey. Very well written; a treasured account of a mother's love."e; --Karyn Hippen, author, "e;Make Me New: one woman's fight to mend a broken past"e;Please feel free to contact the author directly at roxanne.moore@live.com.
