Spiritually, what you believe is unimportant, but spirituality is real and riveting in your own experiences, whether an inexplicable connection with a family member; the goes around comes around; karma felt in either some form of come up or misfortune; the sense of hope in a hopeless situation; a truth you knew intuitively or the sense that another''s negativity jinxed you in some way.Whether Fate, Destiny, Providence, Creation, Big Bang, Evolution, God or some misshapen formula of the previously mentioned is the truth that you acknowledge, neither can exist outside of spirituality, making spirituality sentient. We can creatively imagine a spiritual network with however many veins that you can conjure, but then the order would result in disorder. Or we can accept a universal balance that begins beyond our imagination and includes where we stand individually. But this isn''t about any of that. Spirituality is too convoluted to comprehend beyond where it includes you.The spirituality that I speak of and identify as the Lord, has a beginning that resists scientific comprehension, and as has been mentioned, has many affairs and it''s my assertion that you are among them and that the testimonies and experiences in Close Encounters with the Lord, attest to it.

  • - Don't Leave Your Family a Mess, Leave them a Legacy!
    av Gustin D Fox-Smith
    285,-

It is said that the only certainties in life are death and taxes. This workbook will help you plan for one and reduce the impact of the other on your loved ones after you are gone. Lessening your family''s burden in their time of grief is a priceless gift. Over 70% of people in the U.S. die without even a basic will, leaving a mess for their loved ones to sort through in the courts. There are thousands of excuses for not planning, but one of the most common is that we tend to avoid things we do not understand. Designing an estate plan has become one of the most complex challenges anyone can take on. But that does not change the fact that each of us must have a plan. The consequences of not planning are too great and none of us will get out of here alive. This workbook will help you gain a basic understanding of core Estate Planning concepts so that the subject will become less intimidating. Then the workbook section will take you through the process of building your own plan, step by step. After completing this book, you will have a document that can be given to your estate attorney that clearly lays out all of your planning needs. By significantly reducing the time necessary to complete the intake interviews, your legal bill should be much easier to swallow.

  • - Saving Ourselves and Our Planet Through a Global Social Compact
    av Doug Irmen
    275,-

The potentially catastrophic problems we face in our world today are the result of a massive spiritual failure. Mankind appears to have forgotten its connection to our souls'' core missions in our lives on this planet: to love and nurture ourselves, and the earth as well. But when you look around it''s obvious that we''re not really loving and nurturing when we cause the environment to decline and the climate to become inhospitable; when we keep wasting money and resources by amassing petrifying weapons to fight horrific wars; when we fail to take care of the weak; and when we demonize each other with so much vitriol and hatred that nothing effective seems to get accomplished. We are out of control as a species, and it is our children and grandchildren who will suffer greatly from our failures unless we find the "fire in our bellies" to act now. After an over forty year career as an attorney, counsellor, teacher, author and community volunteer, Doug Irmen''s thesis in Let There Be Light: Saving Ourselves and Our Planet Through a Global Social Compact is that genuine spirituality cannot be divorced from the physical world which our souls now inhabit; that spirituality finds its meaning and expression through the way we bring our values to bear on the issues we are confronted with on Planet Earth; and that the time is URGENT--RIGHT NOW-for a giant societal leap that will heal and transform our dangerous, bitterly divided world by embracing the wisdom, and manifesting the energy, of a higher form of consciousness than we have until now displayed. To accomplish this we must devise a specific way to bring the Light in our souls and the Love in our hearts to bear on our daunting challenges, to lay out a how-to for doing this on a global scale so that we can cooperate in saving ourselves and our planet from destruction. We will do this by using the internet to bring about the adoption of a worldwide Social Compact, a grass-roots spiritual and political movement that supersedes governments and will promote the core values that all peoples ultimately share. The Social Compact will connect like-minded people in an urgent crusade to reverse the course we are on. It will do this by establishing an international Light Network comprised of good-willed people who will share their ideas and strategies for funneling the core goodness we all have within us into a metaphorical but highly impactful ball of Light that beams out the conscience of mankind. A conscience that says NO MORE to our current failure to get along and cooperate. A conscience that will overwhelm our societies and governments with the message that NOW IS THE TIME to change course and love and respect all life on earth.Doug Irmen''s Let There Be Light advocates for the creation of a new worldwide social and political will that is grounded in universal spirituality. Doug writes with passion, occasional humor, and contagious optimism that we are capable of a transformational shift in human consciousness that will empower our souls'' life missions and elevate humanity to a place that is equal to the herculean task of leaving a healthy and peaceful world to those who follow us on Planet Earth.

When Thomas MacDonald, a somewhat dull thirty-something bookstore clerk, finds three suitcases near a dumpster, he has no idea of the adventures ahead of him. He swiftly discovers that his new-found baggage is a time-travel portal, one that seems to have a purpose to its destinations into the past. But what is it? And how does his new-found love fit in? Should he tell her about his travels? Will she think he has lost his mind? Or maybe, just maybe, they might figure out how to use those suitcases to their advantage.During the COVID-19 pandemic, three writers began searching for a way to beat the "stay at home" blahs. They began work on a series of short stories, wherein each would write the beginning of a story, pass it on to the second, who passed it on to the third. At the end of the week, they met on Zoom and shared their work. One of those stories just kept growing and became the novella, Baggage. Enjoy!

Freedom means being able to wake up every morning and loving who we are, loving the person in the mirror, and accepting the created of God. Loving ourselves in such a way that we are no longer bound by shame, guilt, and feelings of inadequacy. We have moved past the slavery and entrapment of "She Thinks" to the freedom of "She Knows". When a woman knows her worth her boundaries are limitless. She knows she is valuable and deserving of respect. She has broken the cycle of thinking she is not worthy; she has learned to stop underestimating her capabilities. Her life experiences have helped her to understand who she is, who she was created to be, and who is the Master of her steps. A woman who knows her worth understands that being tired does not make her weak; being strong does not affect her femininity; being single does not mean she is alone; or that being humble does not mean she is a doormat. She can stride through life knowing that she can move mountains with just the sway of her hips, the curl of her lips, the slant of her eyes, and the meeting of her thighs. A woman who knows her worth is a force to be reckoned with because she has survived her story and she courageously keeps pushing forward; living her best life in positivity and unapologetically.

  • - A Love Story
    av Mary Jo Myers
    309,-

Paddington's Inner Circle is a novel that takes place in a postcard-picture town obviously named "Paddington." But it is the people making up the town who, without realizing they are doing so, create an inner circle of caring for themselves and one another. It is not the overt care of soup kitchens and visiting the sick kind-of-care, though these people would never ignore that. But they live their own lives, as we all do, finding, hardly knowing that they do, that core of love -- all kinds of love -- that works healing. What is there to be healed? grief, fear, loss, loneliness, divorce, murder, pain, injury, betrayal, and whatever kind you need healed. And what kinds of love are there? Openness of mind and heart, generosity, seeing beauty in all things -- nature, food, body, kindness, poetry, woodwork, music, and everything you think of as a means of love. All of this circles through the people of Paddington.
