The Church is at the third and perhaps final leg of its journey.  As nations undergo development, the churches of the nations that become developed relapse into complacency and lukewarmness thereby compromising their Christian faith while those of developing nations remain significantly rigid and at the extreme.  As a result, the centre of Church unity gave way and individuals resorted to self-help and define Christian faith by what seems right or wrong in their opinion.Painfully, many Christians no longer remember the object of their faith, which is, to influence others with the virtue of Christ. Those dedicated to service have become the subject of persecution. Although persecution aims at discouraging the faithfuls from professing and practising their faith, it helps in the spread of Christianity and keeps the church spiritually strong and healthy, how then can one describe a situation where it is the Church that persecutes the faithfuls?Regrettably, many churches are altering their creed to accommodate the new communities of unrepentant believers and replacing faithfuls with reprobates; they smuggle materialism into the Church and are raising hybrid of materialistic Christians.In docility, the Church has jettisoned the Christian mission for the pursuit of material wealth and is breeding a completely new generation of “Very Shallow and Ignorant Christians”, who are lacking in the basic values of the Christian faith. No wonder, when they prophecy, it no longer comes to pass.The Church: In the beginning it was not so, is the history of Christianity and the Church, which aims to build a strong base of Christian faith in individual Christians and the Church in general.

Church and State examines the wall of separation Thomas Jefferson spoke of in his letter to the Danbury Baptist Association in 1802 to answer a letter from them written in October 1801. The Danbury Baptists were a religious minority in Connecticut, and they complained that in their state, the religious liberties they enjoyed were not seen as immutable rights, but as privileges granted by the legislatureas favors granted. Jeffersons reply did not address their concerns about problems with state establishment of religiononly of establishment on the national level. With the election of President Trump, we must look back to see the original intent of our founding fathers, take a snapshot of the current state of separation, and peer into the future to see if the balance between politics and religion can be sustained.

It covers the learning curve of a sales trainee, and how to sell products. It continues to follow my career path through various levels of sales management, and all of the issues encountered, while working as an employee, both good and bad, until I was promoted to vice president of the company. You will read about my having to report to a very difficult boss, and how I dealt with it.After 25 years, I resigned, and started my own company. I was successful, and enjoyed going to work every day. Starting a company, and building a business, has a lot of challenges. Slipping in the Church is an addition to my first book, Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places. I accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior, but I kept hearing, what happened? I had this notion that everything would be peaches and cream once I accepted Christ-Not! I will take you on my journey of many struggles I continued to deal with while going to church, trying to figure out how to maneuver as a born-again believer, while still trying to hold onto the things of the world. Some things I was instantly freed from; some behaviors took years to overcome, such as smoking, drinking, the abortions, amongst other things, while still hanging on to the Word of God, which I had sown into my life from what I had learned.

Prior to becoming vegan my life was a chaotic nightmare. All of a sudden I have woken up. I invite you to give this journey a try. You might be surprised as much as I was once I made the choice.I was addicted to alcohol, drugs, and negative self-talk. I felt as if I would live that way for the rest of my life. It all changed the day I became vegan. Being vegan is more than a diet, it is a life-style where you do good to yourself and the planet. Becoming vegan was a positive change for me but a scary one too. The world I thought I knew while growing up was not real. I always felt out of place and if I did not belong on this world. After countless times of suicidal attempts, I concluded that I was put on this Earth to make something big out of my life. The love I have for animals opened up a door for me that for years I did not see. Veganism made that door visible and everything I thought I was, was not true. After experiencing the wonderful changes in this vegan life-style I will never turn back to my old life. I share with you all of my enlightened thoughts in this book.
