That was written almost 2,000 years ago, so "the time" is that much closer. The word "blessed" can mean "happy." The word "keep" means to "keep safe." It is important for followers of Jesus Christ in our day to be aware of what lies ahead for the Church, it is our hope and our joy, leading to holy living.In this book terms such as Apocalypse, the Tribulation, Anti-Christ, the False-Prophet, Rapture of the Church, Armageddon, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, the End of the Age and others are explained. Blest and happy and hopeful is God's promise for those who read and hear the words of this book, and keep it safe for others. The time may be nearer than we may expect. There is Heaven to gain, and Hell to escape for those who acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.

As we live by faith, we pray to be an example and an inspiration. My 'go-to' phrase is "Push, Push, Push." Whatever you need to make it, I urge you to take it!

Although the Smith family name is common, the story of this Smith family is anything but common. This history begins with the ancestors that arrived in the British Colonies of North America in the early 1600's. The majority of the book is made up of the biographies of five generations of the family that are primarily based on first and second hand sources. Some memories are quoted in the text to give a personal perspective. The direct line ancestors of family were expelled from Nauvoo, Illinois in 1846 with other members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They faced great hardship crossing the planes and then had to establish homes in the wilderness. The suffering and dedication of those people is inspirational. This family played a significant role in the settlement of the community of Daniel in Heber Valley, Utah. The accounts go up to the 1980's.

There isn't much question that we are living in a world and at a time, that is more dangerous now than ever in our history. True or not, it's probably fair to say that in today's world, we are exposed to continuously negative energy and polarization. It's also probably fair to say that if each of us chooses to change our focus, even if only for a few moments, we may find a different way to handle a difficult reality. Perhaps, if enough people focus on the simple beauty of ourselves and our humanity, we may actually be able to create a new paradigm shift. Awareness and understanding, kindness and compassion, and taking the time to be a participant in them... although perhaps "pie in the sky," or a seemingly impossible task, is what this book is all about. It's about "you," and how you may deal with and experience the time in which we live. Hopefully, you will find that the words and photos in this book, will help to inspire and guide you through the process of coming to a new and more peaceful place in the world. And just maybe, you can pay that forward.

Jake the Snake - not quite a con man, more a hustler trying to make a buck and keep his head above water in the seamy life that is Midtown New York at night. In trouble with the pimps, with the cops and with those whose tastes lead them into trouble as well.

The boss, (oh, I work at The Opinionated Daily News, just call me George)...ah... stuck... uh....assigned... me to interview turtles, terrapins, and tortoises at La Cite` du Tortoises, which is located in Pennsylvania. The boss ordered a series of articles on how these creatures lived so I managed to get several life stories from them, and I can't stress enough, these turtles are peculiar! Sam and his friends get themselves into some weird situations. Like shopkeeper Walter Wall, who made a grab for a bug, over reached himself and slud (not MY word) into the crik (Pennsylvania Dutch for creek), and floated unwillingly and unhappily down the crik, eventually ending belly up in Johnstown. Through a series of rescues he finally arrived home... which annoyed some "friends". When the turtles were being collected by bad men, Alice, the snapping turtle, joined the resistance and fortunately, all were saved. Jock, the Lock-box turtle has an amazing ability to literally close up shop and completely hide himself in his house, (his secret- hinges on the bottom shell); he and his buddy, tiny Bog turtle, Herkimer, joined in feasting in farmer John's garden, (they called it borrowing), happily gobbling up his delectable produce, and sometimes joined the group which meets in La Tortoise Bar and Grill most evenings. Due to the turtle's misuse, abuse, and mangling of the good King's English, I have translated and transcribed these articles and have sent them to the paper. Believe me: I am NOT responsible for the results. Groan. Their instructions: all visitors should bring carrots!

An assemblage of cousins from various states, who are close and meet every year for their annual vacation, like to have fun and go to places they have never seen before. All this didn''t faze the strong women who were wanting a place to relax with their favorite cousins.They meet a variety of colorful characters along the way that would be hard for people to believe if they told them. Some of these characters were good and others not so good, leading the cabin ladies to have to do things they had rather not do to survive. Not all the vacation was bad. They had good times along with the bad. The cousins were close and would stick together no matter what came their way. The lady at registration was correct when she said some people would do anything for money, and they did.

The extent of Arab diffusion in the Orient in the first century BC, around 64 /63 BC, the year of Pompey''s settlement in Syria, rendered by Arab groups who were moving from north to south then.
