Ian Nicholas Ferree has served in youth ministry for over seven years. He currently serves full-time as the Operations Director for Student Ministry and he has a passion for leading the lost to life in Jesus. Ian holds a Graduate Diploma in Theology, Biblical Studies and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Liberty University. Peter and Meena are fourth year medical students at St Louis University. In spite of fiancée’s skepticism about his mental problem, Peter decides to take certain pivotal steps to deal with it straightway. He visits his mother at Farmington, Missouri and learns from her, dad was an alcoholic and also exhibited severe mental symptoms. She did not know much about his side of the family, but recommended to contact a grandma living in New York.Peter found Grandma Agnes extremely forthcoming about her family history and learnt from her, his father returned from Vietnam as a heroin addict, quit using it after finding out of his Hepatitis and later turned to alcohol. Grandfather lived in and out of State Hospitals and committed suicide.The next step for Peter was to find a good psychiatrist. He learnt the best way to find one was through the Physician Referral Services of a good hospital, following it up with Face to Face Assessment. He was totally surprised by the first psychiatrist selected, who in spite of his high qualifications ignored the family history he painfully collected, telling the medical student’s problems came from witnessing as a child, the abuse father inflicted on the mother.With no desire to see him again, Peter met another psychiatrist who was extremely interested to hear about his family history. She told him, he definitely has a Depressive Illness, however, the family history increased the risk of developing Bipolar Disorder. After discussing the various treatment options, they decided on a trial with an antidepressant.  A week into the medication, Peter woke up from sleep feeling more energetic than usual, a natural high, and asked himself if the medicine hit the target earlier than intended. He learnt from the new psychiatrist, his diagnosis now was Bipolar 2 and she told him to discontinue the antidepressant, as it could make his condition worse.Meena got perplexed hearing about Peter’s new diagnosis and began to worry about her future with a seriously mentally ill person. Grabbing an offer that came from New York Presbyterian to do neurology clerkship, she moved to the Big Apple, on the pretense to be closer to her parents. Devastated Peter took an overdose. It took a while for him to recover.Couple of months later, Peter received an unexpected phone call from Meena – Her father, a neurosurgeon was in coma after a plane accident that happened on a business trip - Mother had a nervous breakdown. Meena begged him to come to New York and help her. Father died soon after his arrival. Mother showed signs of improvement only after receiving ECT.Father’s sudden death and mother’s illness shook up the daughter. She returned to St Louis to finish the school year and prepare for graduation. Peter was accepted to the residency program in psychiatry at the University. His main interest was to do research and wished Meena would take up residency in psychiatry as well and be part of his research team. However, she was into the neurology residency.One Sunday afternoon, after church Peter and Meena decided to take a stroll through the Saint Louis botanical garden. It was a beautiful day and a gentle breeze made it feel even better. They sat on a bench, close together, in the Japanese section and watched the people passing by. Most victims being young Indian girls along with robbery ending in murders that covered the scene. With the death came scalps that sold to the Trading Post. The Hellgate treaty of 1851 forced the Indians tribes to move to their newly established reservations, creating uprising from young braves not wanting to leave their ancestral grounds. This problem solved with U.S. Calvary to keep peace with the Indians. Alexander Culbertson, Montana Territorial governor soon learned that Indian girls were missing, with no possible peace with the tribes until this problem solved. He questioned, "Who would track down and capture these elusive mountain men? The answer came from Fort Benton in a burly, young arm bending blacksmith named Caleb. Along with an a half breed French Canadian raised Blackfoot named Fitz and a giant befriended black wolf, Sage. As a team they would run these criminals to ground, Sage would lead the hunt, Caleb would pronounce the sentence and Fitz would dish out immediately punishment that be met their lawless ways.

Initiated primarily from the fear fact that all those vast funds out there whenever made available; meaning ready to be allocated to supposed or genuine lifesaving projects in less developed countries in those part of our world, will end up for the majority of cases squandered with no guilt of any kind from none of the parties involved in it. So, why, and how then this different kind of book can be a useful one for partners in any given project per se? Verily, after having been a constant watchful recipient about project funding subject from the field and having accumulated a sound experience for such a long period, it has appeared to me like a personal duty to release my modest contribution to all parties involved in any project, for now, hoping that as the first of its kind, this book can awaken from the fact only both funders and recipients. By genuinely attempting to show to all partners in project funding how to preserve funded projects around the third world particularly, that should at the same time open up a global debate that would ultimately lead us to more sustainable projects.

A passion for life and learning exemplified the short career of one of the best American portrait artists of recent times. Florence McNeil Hardy started from the Kansas plains and, by her college days, was developing into an extraordinarily talented artist, winning an international competition while in college. She continued training at the Kansas City Art Institute and at the prestigious Art Student's League of New York, finally settling in Monahans, Texas, where most of her portraits were done. Her portraits won first place and/or best of show at major exhibitions all over the United States. Many of her paintings, including some that won exhibits, "Jane's Stormy," "Asyrian," "Kellen's Child," "Dark Canyon," and "Adeline Kennard" and others, have not been found. And, there is a mystery about her painting, "Girl in Pink"; who is she? Retirement brought Florence and her family to northwestern Arkansas, settling at Winton Springs in Pea Ridge. Florence did only six landscapes in Arkansas, all at our new home at Winton Springs; there are no portraits known from her brush after leaving Texas. About a year later on her wedding anniversary, April 15, 1955, Florence died of a massive heart attack.
