CIA agents must play catch-up in time to stop powerful men in Homeland Security and the Defense Department from staging the overthrow of the President and his administration!Escalating gang violence in Denver, Colorado, and in other large cities in the nation captures the attention of the first term President. He wants a solution, and he wants it NOW. Legislation takes years. The Director of Homeland Security presents a convincing argument that the remedy to the deteriorating situation may be a highly classified program deep within the charter of the Federal Emergency Management Agency-FEMA, known as Annex K. This deep-black program, nicknamed STARDUST, would be executed beneath the heaviest cloak of utmost secrecy and without the informed consent of Congress. When the CIA sends Agent Dave McClure to Denver to investigate inexplicable lethal violence being waged with advanced weaponry against organized street gangs, McClure discovers that what has been unleashed is a sinister solution far worse than the problem. He unearths a nightmarish plot to do much more than eliminate gangs in America - rather, an attempt to seize the military district of Washington and overthrow the federal government. McClure's own life is now at especially high risk. The CIA must act quickly and with overwhelming force. The clock is ticking.

This book is dedicated to two men I met along the way, Gray and the C.I.A. agent named the Repeller, for he repelled down everyone. A man, before I ever knew his name, I knew his flame and came to hear his call, About the gypsy with a ball. I once said to George, "To hell and back." George called me out on it after the crack, the crack of the baseball bat as he hit it out of the park. "Hey, Blondy, I need a little help here...I'm on a tack wearing flak."

  • - My Life
    av Enquied Fields-Taylor
    249

This book is a story of my life as an adulterer for a decade, even during my own marriage. It speaks about sex, sex, sex, and more sex in the relationship and how I tried to leave on various occasions, only to return every time. Through prayer and fasting, and continued trips to the altar, the Lord delivered me and set me free from this stronghold that plagued my life for so long and blessed me with my own husband. Thank God for Freedom! The Lord began to speak to me saying, "I want you to write a book based on your own adulterous life but do not mention the man's name because he is still married. You will refer to him as HE or HIM. I am going to use you because you are bold enough and you are not ashamed to talk about your life situations to anyone because I have now delivered you. I want you to start from the time the very thought entered your mind, because sin starts in the mind, how the affair started, meeting places, details, and how it finally ended. Male and female will read your book because the things that you say, they are too ashamed to admit. But they are committing the same acts themselves. I WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU, THUS SAITH THE LORD." Now, I don't know about you, but when the Lord tells me to do something, I do it. And so, it begins...

  • - The Rise & Fall of a Private Ambulance Empire
    av Sean C Cusack
    349,-

Code 3: The Rise & Fall of a Private Ambulance Empire proves that people from all walks of life are attracted to the strange realm that is Emergency Medical Services (E.M.S.). But like average employees, many of them come and go. "Like druggies, they get their quick fix and then they leave. E.M.S. sees them come and go like the motions of the ocean." But what they leave behind are their unforgettable stories.Code 3: The Rise & Fall of a Private Ambulance Empire is not your typical novel about the heroisms of what takes place in the back of an ambulance, rather, Code 3 takes you on a fast-paced 'lights and sirens' ride through the delightful disgraces that are hidden well from the public eye.Code 3 is a satire ripe with figurative allegories in concert with such prime world events as Nazi Germany and the Titanic Disaster, uniquely intertwined in the unforgiving E.M.S. field of battle set inside a huge garage on the north side of Chicago that is a branch of a massive private ambulance company merger. It was inside this garage where most of the mayhem took place. Sean C. Cusack began his professional writing career in 2004 and has since published several works of different genres. In Code 3: The Rise & Fall of a Private Ambulance Empire, Sean C. Cusack chronicles his early upbringing in the 'family business' and into his teenage years that were well absorbed with stories and characters. He further explores the odd world that was the calamitous private ambulance company that he worked at with an observant eye and humorous take on an otherwise suppressed occupation all from the watch of his comfortable confines.

In the 1960's the Andy Griffith Show was a great hit. It followed the lives of a small-town sheriff and his family and friends. The show presented the soft side of a sheriff's life. It was funny, charitable, and gentle. The author of Playing Cops grew up in the same time period and as the member of a rural sheriff's family. His memoir at times is funny, but it is also frightening and heartbreaking. The author and his brothers worked as deputies for their father from their early teens forward and were exposed to all the variants of life and death. They saw the underside of life that most adults go through life without understanding or even acknowledging. Go for the ride with tissues and an open heart.

  • - Promises of Peace, National Security & Safety
    av Patience Okon-Ndekwe

VIOLENCE is truly the modern word for SIN, SINNING AND SINFULNESS. Without associating Violence with Sin--the chaotic, aggressive, immoral or sarcastic elude most people as SINNING. The Preacher's message against sin has become dull, and is no longer heard. The reason is that the society has failed to associate Violence with Sin. Sin--the old spiritual word is synonymous with Violence. And VIOLENCE has so many other names, e.g., Terrorism, Religious Wars, Emotional Disturbances, Offending, Harming, Pestilence, Famine, Disease, Assault, Hatred, etc. The list goes on and on and we know it. For this reason, acts of Murder, Stealing, Greed, Profanity or Immorality... are acts of Violence. Violence is that word that describes the entire 10 Sinning Acts in the 10 Commandments. So when is it OK to Sin? How will SIN be made comfortable for the next generation? Let's look at the Gun Laws for instance--Laws of Violence, Rules to Offending, Practical Principles of Hatred and/or Authority to Harm. These are new ways to legalize sin. Our gun laws legislate sin. The right to harm and carry instruments of offending is legislated attracting heavy spending. Let the conscience speak. Is it alright to legislate tendency to violate, offend, harm or hate among the youth? These opposing laws authorize the vulnerable to expand their scope and increase their populations in the criminal justice system. If it becomes OK to tout hatred by weapons of violence, would leadership not also legislate the immoral, corrupt, stealing, greed, embezzlement? Let's be sensitive--Violence or Sin and these Instruments perpetuate the decay factor in our society.... These can all be turned off, minimized and extinguished. We owe posterity awakened consciousness. Associating weapons of Violence with Sinfulness, help shun evil. Limiting these means embracing National Peace, Security, Safety and such. If we commit to Peacemaking sacrificially, we attract personal Peace, Safety and Security and transform individually, socially, politically and economically--for our generation.Personal sacrifices litigate the Enemy dragging the Avenger and the Foe into divine court of Justice where martyrs rule. By obeying the Seven Laws of Sacrifices we suspend judgements against self and loved ones, frustrating the enterprise of wickedness. These laws promote peace, cancel negativities and extinguish claims against you, your society and your possessions. They are the Laws of Peacemaking. Global Peace, National Security and Safety are founded upon these principles for sustainable development, self-transformation, environmental stability and social reform. Such are dream promises that every responsible care issues, which government makes to their citizens. Violence, terrorism and conflicts pose serious health threat, thwart sustainability and waste spending. Violence is the issue in the criminal justice system and the dilemma in human rights protection. Bust Sacrifices of Peace eradicate diverse intensities of conflicts and behaviors that threaten us. As Divine Peacemaking eliminates hostilities universally, our united effort banishes all types of fear, correcting the negative, righting wrongs. Chaos will retreat, brute tendencies with distinct types of selfishness will be curtailed to balance natural laws. "Feasting the Enemy Peace" restores generations stagnated in conflict back to times of prosperity. Feasting Laws are weapons--the passcode of Masters. The Temple Church is the divine agency that establishes these metaphysical principles for global peace, security and safety. The Temple Church represents sustainability and threats-reversal.

  • - Making of a Medical Leader
av M D Julius Quintin Mallette
    289,-

My story is not unique but perhaps exceptional because of my parent's belief in me and their values. We were not rich in dollars but wealthy in skills for personal success and helping others. Early in my life my parents taught their ideals. They were both educators. I believed, embraced and acted on those ideals. Now during this learning period, I certainly had fun, made and lost friends. I explored nature and studied both hard and smart. Most importantly I respected, admired and loved my teachers. And I believed their feelings were mutual. My teachers made it possible for me to say with full confidence, as I said in the chapter on my future goals, that I could be a Surgeon, Army General or a Scientist. I was not given a silver spoon for material things. But, I was taught to look for the gold in me and others to overcome temporary road blocks. These and other lessons from my early childhood village-Wilmington, NC provided foundation guideposts for my success in a helping profession as a medical trailblazer.

Jess, Jeremy, and Amanda grew up under the Ice-Scape Dome. The Dome housed a complete, climate-controlled ecosystem for scientific study. It was an ecological and a social experiment: the brainchild of Dr. Emily Rose. She posited that future successful space exploration would require both self-contained ecosystems and self-sustaining social structures. Isolated under the Dome, residents experienced no competition for resources, no social caste structure, and no economic conflict. Jess, Amanda, and Jeremy have lived in the social utopia of the Ice-Scape Dome since infancy. As they approach their sixteenth birthdays, though, the experiment concludes, and they are sent to school in New York City where they must face the realities of life as an American teenager. It remains to be seen how well their utopian upbringing prepared them for life in an American high school.

“This extraordinary book includes a broad spectrum of information that is focused into an easy-to-understand single best source on the Afterlife.”“Death cannot separate us.”Unlike all other books on this topic, The Definitive Book of the Afterlife introduces an astonishing new way of looking at the Afterlife. It is very different and profound – a true documentary that shares in-depth information and detailed experiences of dying, death, transition, and existence in the Afterlife – actual experiences!”In the very early stages of writing The Definitive Book on the Afterlife, Marshall Smith unexpectedly passed away through a tragic accident. However, he continued to contribute to the book by sharing his personal experiences of dying, death, and the Afterlife. Patricia Hayes, highly experienced in communicating with those in the Afterlife, and having shared this process with Marshall for three decades, documented over a hundred communications with Marshall who, now in the Afterlife, provided detailed information that greatly influenced the content and direction of this book. The information about the Afterlife conveyed in this book comes from Patricia Hayes’ decades of first-hand experience with helping others to cross over, and with her frequent communication not only with her husband, but also with her brother, Fred.  She shares intimate details of Marshall’s dying, including his moment of death, transition, and acclimation to the Afterlife – intimate details that are made possible through their deep love and dedication to their personal and working relationship. Using Marshall’s observations and understanding of his existence in the Afterlife, Patricia draws comparisons between the physical levels of consciousness and the levels of consciousness in the Afterlife, so that you will know what to expect and how to function.Practical and easy-to-understand, you discover what the transition process is like, how the Earth and Afterlife are intertwined, how to determine your place in the Afterlife, and, most important, how to communicate with your loved ones who are in the Afterlife while you are still here on Earth. The Definitive Book on the Afterlife transcends religious views of dying to share first-hand, direct experience with the process of dying and death, as well as the realities of being in the Afterlife. One thing is for sure -- you will never look at dying and death the same way again. Inspirational, transformative, comforting, reassuring – it is a must read!
