Maritime medicine represents an area of medicine that has origins dating back to Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Viking and European times. Seafarers have been the pioneers in the exploration of new continents, they have accessed territories that have given mankind access to resources found in other regions. The practice of maritime medicine requires that the professional has a series of skills and competencies that include a deep knowledge of the subject, professional ethics, ability to work in teams and interact with professionals from different areas, an openness to multicultural treatment, relations with international organizations to meet requirements for the transport of people and goods at the international level. This work is a compendium of some of the training activities that should be developed by students of the maritime medicine specialty program at the UCA and can serve as a first contact with the subject and reference for people who start learning in this specialized medical area and unknown to most of the medical staff at international level, we hope it will be useful.

Industry 4.0 (I4.0) is increasingly present in the academic and industrial environment, however, there are still barriers and difficulties for its implementation. Technology Transfer (TT) has a relevant role as a facilitator in the digital transformation process and is directly linked to the importance of increasing the knowledge base in I4.0 technologies. In this sense, this study aimed to develop a maturity model of Industry 4.0, where Technology Transfer influences its maturity level, in order to facilitate its implementation. For this, first a Conceptual Framework that presents the existing influence between TT and I4.0 was carried out, developed from a vast literature review. To prove this framework, the I4.0-TT Maturity Model was developed. This model was based on the DEMATEL multi-criteria method, because it is based on the influence between the factors (I4.0 and TT) and their dimensions. The results showed that there is indeed a mutual influence between these two factors. TT can be seen as a strategy for the implementation of 4.0 concepts and technologies to occur more easily.

The use of treated wastewater for irrigation can become an alternative for regions that face water scarcity. The reuse of this natural resource is increasingly taking space in the scientific community. Thus, the book aimed to evaluate the feasibility of using wastewater from a sewage concentration system by stabilization ponds in irrigation of butter cabbage, evaluating agronomic and microbiological characteristics of the crop. The microbiological analyses were Salmonella and thermotolerant coliforms (coliforms at 45 ºC). It was concluded that the use of treated wastewater in irrigation of the culture of butter cabbage influenced the agronomic characteristics evaluated with a significance level of 5%. In the microbiological analyses it was concluded that the values determined in the laboratory were lower than the parameters established by ANVISA, so it is feasible to use wastewater for irrigation of the cabbage crop, not compromising human consumption.

Until the mid-2000s, language teaching in Brazil was delegated to Language Learning Centers, which suppressed the inefficiency of the proposed additional language teaching within basic education. Even for those who could afford to pay for this service, this reality intensified the common sense that foreign languages are not learned in regular schools and further amplified social inequality. This scenario has been undergoing major changes with the intensification of bilingual education proposals. In this scenario, we find the teaching figure and the necessary knowledge to act in this context. It was with the purpose of contributing to the formation of teachers for bilingual Portuguese-English education that I started the present investigation about the teachers' knowledge needs and the major difficulties encountered by educators who work with bilingual education of choice in the midst of the unprecedented context imposed by the pandemic of the new coronavirus and lockdown, and their voices and their places of speech constituted the foundations of the present research.

The intensification of livestock systems is normally accompanied by the use of chemical nitrogen fertilizers, but these can be substituted by the nitrogen biologically fixed by leguminous plants associated with existing grasses in the pasture, which can lead to an increase in biomass production. Traditionally, animal production systems in the Mexican tropics are based on the use of native forage species of low productivity. However, when the intention is to intensify animal production, introduced forage species are used, both grasses and legumes; but in the case of the latter, their permanence in the field is short, that is why the use of Arachis pintoi; associated with grasses; has been noted for its persistence under grazing, but its survival mechanisms are not fully understood to date, so this study aims to provide a minimum part of the basic knowledge of these mechanisms, in order to improve the management of these species under the conditions of the Mexican humid tropics.This would allow the sustainability of dual-purpose cattle raising.

Sexuality, defined as the aspect of every social person that includes not only the erotic act, but also the emotionality and capacity of expression of this, sexual orientation, the gender role that is decided to play, among others, is not only exclusive to those who call themselves neurotypical, but also every person from adolescence onwards, including those who have some degree of disability can experience it. This book was born as an experience to explore from the clinical and bibliographic aspect how sexuality is experienced in adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) from its clinical aspects, parents as a family nucleus and as a guide on responsible sexuality and the difficulties of this topic.

At the heart of Beninese positive law, consent is the preferred legal pillar for legitimizing the processing of personal data. Consecrated by Book V of the digital code in Benin and other international and regional legal instruments, consent represents the cornerstone of informational self-determination which is recognized by the manifestation of the will of the person concerned. Faced with the lack of intellectual mastery of these tools by users and mechanical consent to the processing of personal data, it is necessary to ask whether consent is illustrated as a formal reality or a practical illusion with regard to the digital issues?

The monograph presents the results of a study on topical issues of developing scientifically based principles for intensifying the roasting of cement clinker in a rotary kiln, aimed at energy and resource saving, optimization of technological processes in the face of changes in the traditional raw material base, production parameters based on non-traditional local raw materials. The issues of obtaining Portland cement clinker in high-temperature apparatuses are considered with a change in the properties and mineralogical composition of the processed raw materials; studies of the features of physical, chemical and technological processes of clinker synthesis using non-traditional raw materials; development of principles for controlling the firing process and ways to improve the quality of clinker; development of an algorithm for designing and improving a complex of heat exchange devices in a rotary kiln, taking into account changes in the physical properties of raw sludge when heated. The monograph is intended for engineering, technical and scientific workers involved in the production of high-performance materials for the construction industry, teachers, masters and bachelors of technical universities.

It is true that violence affects both women and men at some point in their lives, the impact of which varies according to various causes and factors, directly influencing the construction of the relationships that adolescents establish in their environment. Recent studies show that adolescents still have an unclear concept of gender violence, so this research reflects on this problem, with the aim of describing the psychosocial conception of gender violence presented by 9th grade students of the "Los Cañaris" Educational Unit of Azogues, in this case from the description of a focal sample.

Aircraft with four or more horizontal rotors have undergone an accelerated evolution in recent years. Research groups in the area of systems engineering, control engineering students, and amateurs in general are working on the implementation of more robust models and controllers, so that they can work with more detailed, accurate, and therefore more realistic simulations of the behavior of quadrotors. Many authors, thinking in the future in a practical implementation and limited in computing power by the imposed lightness in weight, choose to keep relatively simple the modeling of the vehicle dynamics which makes possible to control the quadrotor using classical control techniques of linear systems such as PID, through the linearization of the dynamics of behavior of the device around an operating point that is usually chosen according to where the device should hover. However, wide range flight or more complex maneuvers require a better performance of the control system.

Farms play a crucial role in the global economy by contributing to the production needed to feed more than 7 billion people around the world. However, in Haiti, this sector represented nearly 45% of general employment and 63% in rural areas, which shows that farms are at the heart of Haitian agriculture. From where comes the general objective of this work which consists in analyzing the performance of the farms in the commune of Hinche case of the communal section Marmont. To do this, a simple random sample was carried out on 55 farms spread over 7 localities, then the processing and analysis of the data are done with software: Word 2007, Excel 2010 and Eviews. In addition, the results obtained showed that there are 18 non-viable farms or 32.72% of the sample, 32 moderate farms or 58.18% of the sample and 5 viable farms or 9.09% of the sample.

This paper addresses the problem of an institution that defines as a management objective the implementation of a system of indicators to support decision making, based on a Business Intelligence (BI) solution.In this sense, the challenge focuses on the design of a system that allows the implementation of a solution that is not only efficient, but also sustainable over time.For this purpose, we worked with primary information obtained through in-depth interviews; and also from the identification and documentary and bibliographic survey and important processes, in order to detect strengths and weaknesses related to the generation of data with impact on the indicators system.Finally, based on the data collected and their analysis, information was obtained to formulate a proposal for a management indicator dashboard model aligned with the institutional strategy, as well as considerations for the sustainability of the system.

Unión Eléctrica (UNE), the governing body that includes all the electric utilities in the country, has as a fundamental premise the computerization of the main tasks performed in its entities with the use of information and communication technologies (ICT). In the electric company, specifically in the Basic Business Unit (UEB) of Commercial Services, the use of technologies such as office automation software, databases, even information management systems generate a large amount of data, which is a challenge for specialists to manually integrate data from different sources for the generation of reports, with the purpose of contributing to the decision making of managers both at the provincial and national level. For this reason, the development of a management information system using database tools and web technologies is proposed to facilitate the process of data integration on the commercial activity of the Electric Company.

The nursing consultation in the oncological setting in a primary care hospital is perceived as a special challenge by the staff of the higher service for health care and nursing. Above all, it involves being able to engage in conversations with patients and their relatives, which are characterised by complex questions. Nurses in the oncology setting are therefore required to engage in conversation and communication so that a deeper understanding of counselling can subsequently emerge.The aim of this research is to experience, identify and understand basic issues that come up in the context of a nursing consultation in the oncology setting, as well as a focus on difficulties, obstacles and the unexpected in the context of a consultation. The research methodology of grounded theory is chosen for the present work.

The birth of a son or daughter usually involves a series of mixed feelings: on the one hand, there is the excitement of meeting this being who has been in the womb for approximately nine months and finally holding him or her in our arms; and on the other hand, there is the fear that arises from the new responsibility that falls upon us.However, the birth of a child with a disability is immediately perceived by parents as an extraordinary and unexpected event.But have we ever asked ourselves whether disability affects all members of a family equally, or should the influence of the disease on the primary caregiver or on the whole family structure be given equal importance? Currently, interpersonal relationships in the family play a fundamental role in the healthy and responsible upbringing of children. My proposal is to be able to give tools to have interpersonal relationships in families with children with disabilities, from a person-centered approach, especially in the attitudes that can be strengthened to enrich these interpersonal relationships in the family with children with disabilities.

We present a model based on patient anatomy to predict the percentage of ipsilateral lung and/or heart volume receiving at least a certain dose in breast treatments with static tangential fields of external radiotherapy. The introduction will briefly guide us through the disease of breast cancer and the importance of external radiotherapy in its treatment, as well as the work involved in a radiotherapy treatment until we reach the core of the work: the theoretical framework of the model. The variables defined in the theoretical framework and computable through the DICOM structure file of each patient, will be useful to predict the volume occupied by the isodose within the organs at risk.

The security situation in the Sahel, particularly in the tri-border area (Burkina Faso, Mali and Niger), is the result of several geopolitical factors. Since the Algerian civil war and despite the Barkhane and Takuba operations in support of the national armed forces of the three states, the Liptako Gourma has become a refuge for armed terrorist groups. The Arab Spring, which led to the destabilization of the Maghreb through the fall of the regimes in Libya and Tunisia, brought thousands of fighters to the Sahel. These fighters, who came with an arsenal of weapons looted from Libyan barracks, will support the armed wing of the MNLA in a secessionist conflict. Dormant cells of Algerian Islamist organizations that had taken refuge in northern Mali seized this opportunity to become active again. This alliance between MNLA militants, Algerian Islamist groups and fighters from Libya led to the territorial occupation of the Liptako by these terrorist groups. The struggle to secure the area leads states to make strategic choices, placing the region at the heart of international rivalries.

The conservation of nature in the Congolese context comes up against a series of threats in which man is at the center. The latter, once properly framed, plays the role of conservator, but if he does not find his account in the conservation efforts, appears in second place as a destroyer. In the Congolese context, not only is the population in a state of survival, not feeling concerned by conservation, but also the dependence on mines to which state institutions are subject leaves a grey area in the application of the law in matters of conservation. The geology of the country shows that the subsoil is a scandal and thus, the protected areas are sometimes the places of abnormal concentration of mineral substances of great industrial interest, which is the cause of conflicts of all kinds and covetousness. In this context, seeking to reconcile the two areas would be necessary. However, it is noted an incompatibility between conservation and exploitation of resources at the same sites, where it is necessary to think of alternatives that can compensate for the protected resources that would be protected if the blockage of conservation would not oppose it.

Today such crimes are more and more difficult to solve. Difficulties are due to the fact that some new ways of transferring money are constantly appearing. Face-to-face meetings are not necessary. Often funds are sent to an electronic purse or bank account, can be transferred to the account of a front company, transferred to the account of a relative of the bribe recipient and so on. The problem of solvability of this type of crime largely depends on the correct formulation of the very course of the investigation, planning on the case. This cannot be done without development of a special methodology of investigation. The basis for the creation of methods of investigation of any crime is the generalization of experience in the investigation of cases of this category, analysis of the methods of environment and ways of committing the crime, identification of relevant patterns and characteristics typical of these crimes.

This book is designed for those who wish to enter the world of machine learning, i.e. beginner mode. Initially, data manipulation through dataframes in the Python programming language, embedded in the Jupyter-lab and Pandas framework, will be addressed. Then data will be extracted from csv files to manage them in dataframes. Indexing, selection and allocation, indexing in Pandas, tag-based selection, conditional selection, data allocation, summary functions, maps and grouping and sorting. Finally, we will proceed to program basic supervised learning models such as linear regression with a single variable, linear regression with multiple variables, saving and loading the training model, data management with dummy variables, separation of the training and test data sets.

The work contains a theoretical part, reflecting the general principles of landscape architecture, guidelines for the preparation of the landscaping and beautification project, a list of documents included in the landscaping and beautification project and brief characteristics of some decorative trees and shrubs of particular interest for the landscaper. Such a structure allows to facilitate the preparation of the landscaping project, to select the necessary plants for its implementation, to create landscape compositions, taking into account the functional purpose, aesthetic qualities and biological characteristics of ornamental plants.

At the present time, due to the intensification of production, the increased use of electricity in various areas and the use of various electrical appliances, further development of the electric power industry is necessary.There is a constant growth of generators' unit capacity and the total growth of power plants' capacity, the voltage and length of power transmission lines are increasing, and electrical equipment is becoming more complex. All this puts forward new parameters and requirements for efficiency and reliability of the system elements. These tasks are solved at the stage of designing electric power facilities. Thus, it is necessary for a future specialist to get skills in designing such objects. One of the important elements of such design is the calculation of short-circuit currents in different modes.

The Cuban Higher Medical Education after the revolutionary triumph has been zealous with the comprehensive training of its professionals, for competence and good job performance, which has resulted in the progressive improvement of the different training plans for professionals in the sector, with the objective of achieving a continuous improvement of the level of health of the population as a result of the optimization of the services that are provided with equity, as well as the elevation of the effectiveness of professional competences.

2019 : The digital revolution is underway, it's the beginning of Industry 4.0. As with other industrial revolutions, innovations and new technologies have enabled this disruptive period. But the rapid pace of global diffusion of these techniques requires the company to understand "forced march". This revolution implies new business models and a rapid transformation. Our major challenge is to be able to adapt. There are many examples in the news: artificial intelligence is capable of diagnosing better than doctors, a humanoid robot can do back flips and drones will soon be delivering our packages. Some companies have already started to transform their supply chain and many others are thinking about it. This transformation implies the use of many technologies impacting the performance of supply chain activities. These changes will profoundly modify the way companies are organized, but they will also raise many ethical questions about mankind and the world we want to build.

This essay provides some details on the terms that are the basis for the development of a new city placing the environment at the heart of its creation. In addition to these concepts-issues of sustainable urban development, a multi-criteria evaluation method making it possible to assess the importance and quality of taking the environment into account during the development of planning documents is elucidated. This was followed by a case study conducted by L3 students in Architecture, urban planning and development from the Kongo University in the LOMA district in order to identify the environmental characteristics of the SAVLO locality.The results obtained from this study led to the hypothesis of adopting the reinforcement of the consideration of the environment in the creation of a new city. This is a development of the SAVLO locality which has experienced since its creation successive waves of uncontrolled urban floods which must be stemmed. This approach is particularly in line with the economic logic of operational urban planning tools, namely: matching demand, densification, controlled diversity and economic management.

As reported by the Ministry of Health, Equality and Social Affairs (2021), on December 31, 2019, the Wuhan Municipal Health and Sanitation Commission (Hubei Province, China) reported 27 incidences with cases of pneumonia of unknown origin, with a common manifestation in users of a wholesale seafood, fish and live animal market in that city, including 7 severe cases.Therefore, the aim of this work is; to determine the effects of a moderate aerobic exercise program combined with respiratory therapy on physical fitness, health-related quality of life, executive functions and pulmonary function in a survivor of SARS-CoV-2 induced bilateral atypical pneumonia after hospital discharge.The 8-week intervention program consisted of the application of different respiratory exercises plus others aimed at improving cardiorespiratory endurance and muscular strength.The results show an improvement in the physical condition, executive functions, and pulmonary function of our participant.

The purpose of this book is to analyze the situation of the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) Jumilla from a historical, geographical and economic point of view. The Jumilla PDO, located in the province of Murcia, has a great winemaking tradition dating back centuries, through which its companies have evolved over time. One can create a company and develop it without being a graduate of prestigious schools because social success is important for everyone.

To build a smart technological base for this complex integrative technology, the following innovative technological techniques are proposed:- RITM technology to improve the performance level of electronic devices and smart mobile home systems to combine with quantum computers;- metallization in a directed flow of electrolyte to prevent edge effects and to produce electronic circuit boards for modules and blocks of control and monitoring of the smart mobile home;- application of diamond-copper composite for heat dissipation effect and accelerated cooling of infrastructure elements of a smart mobile home;- control of the parameters and characteristics of the infrastructure of a smart mobile home in real time on the basis of electromagnetic resonance spectroscopy.In the book the author considers techniques, technologies and design in the formation of design and infrastructure systems inherent in smart manufacturing and smart mobile home and its equivalents, as well as their adaptation to the classical TRIZ and ARIZ statements.
