The mineral resource and reserve reporting standards were developed primarily to provide investors and stakeholders with reliable and auditable information about mining projects. Investors need to understand the characteristics and risks associated with mining projects before making investment decisions, and the mineral resource and reserve estimation standards provide essential information in this regard. In addition, these standards ensure that mining companies comply with disclosure and transparency requirements. Publicly traded companies are required to submit information on their mineral resources and reserves to regulatory authorities and the Mineral Resource and Reserve Estimate Standards provide criteria and procedures for such disclosures.

The offender has a number of rights to a fair trial. These rights are often not known to legal professionals, often due to lack of adequate training. This book aims to educate any lawyer on the rights that a suspect or prosecuted person can enjoy. However, only Malian legislation has been taken into account, even if comparative law is used. We hope that this modest contribution will help to advance legal science on the one hand, and on the other hand to enable further training of legal professionals, even those who are not Malian.

Recently we have observed numerous factors that contribute to ineffective access to justice: slowness, costs, cultural obstacles and technical and logistical unpreparedness of the Judiciary. The number of cases brought before the Judiciary has increased considerably over the years because we live in a culture of great litigiousness and, paradoxically, many people do not even know their rights in order to claim them when they are violated. It is therefore the duty of those who participate in the universe of scientific construction in the field of Law to collaborate with the analysis of this current situation and to make some considerations. As a way to combat these obstacles, alternative mechanisms for conflict resolution have been developed. It will be analyzed, more specifically, mediation, because it is a new institute that seeks to give greater effectiveness and speed to conflicts. It can be conceptualized as a means of conflict resolution, self-compositional, with the intervention of a mediator who does not use coercive power, but rather fosters an atmosphere of harmonious coexistence and encourages the effective achievement of solutions to social conflicts.

At a time when the world economy has just been shaken by the excesses of the banking and financial sector in 2008, the Basel III agreements propose a strengthening of the solvency ratio. Securitisation and the massive growth of balance sheets not backed by adequate capital is at the heart of the debate. The only measure completed in 2012, it aims in particular to prevent any systemic risk by combating the risk of bankruptcy. This 2012 paper examines this measure and determines whether the new capital requirements help to reduce bank failures and redirect banks' activity towards their original business. We base our argument on an extensive literature review complemented by an empirical study showing a positive correlation between capital and failure risk for unlisted banks and the focus of risks on banks' core business.

The text discusses the question of redefining the art of the actor, in the context of the two virtual projects staged by Mark Reaney and Ron Willis in Kansas, USA, in 1995 and 1996: The Adding Machine and Wings. The subject of technology pushing forward the frontiers of knowledge is addressed, while art, as always, is invited to reflect these new experiences. Virtual theatre implies, therefore, a redefinition of the actors' performance, the role of the technicians, the function of the directors and the relationship with the audience. The study discusses, at the level of the theatre, the existing relationships between the corporal, the psychic and the artificial, the multidisciplinary training of the actor, the question of the diminished actor, the question of a new performer, and the concerns that generally arise during the process of staging where new technologies are used. The work is addressed to specialists in theatre and new technologies, as well as to the theatre and virtual world enthusiast.

Mechanization is now widespread in all sectors of agriculture. Soil working tools are ploughing tools, pseudo ploughing tools which carry out a deep work without turning over the soil and the tools known as superficial manners which prepare the seedbed and their working depth is lower than that of ploughing. The seed drills must provide a precise dose of seed per hectare. Plant protection products and liquid fertilizers are applied with sprayers, while solid forms are applied with fertilizer spreaders. Slurry and manure spreaders were designed for spreading farmyard manure. The harvesting of grains (cereals, oilseeds) is done with a combine harvester. The harvesting of roots and tubers is carried out by different machines that can be used one after the other or simultaneously in combined form. Forage harvesting machines are also very different and depend on the type of harvest. It is therefore essential to have accurate and nuanced information on agricultural equipment.

The general objective of this book is to analyze how the variables of quality at work are configured for young workers who attend the vocational courses offered by Espro - Vocational Social Teaching in Belo Horizonte/MG. The theoretical framework delved into the theme quality of life at work, focusing on the approach of Hackman and Oldham, chosen as an analysis parameter for this study. The research methodology relied on a double case study, longitudinal cohort, of quantitative nature and descriptive approach. To this end, two data collections were accessed in the years 2010 and 2013 with young workers who attended courses taught at Espro. When describing and comparing the data collected, there is evidence of greater quality of life at work in the first collection made. This allows inferring that very little, or nothing, has been done for the satisfaction of this group over the years observed. It was noticed a need for a greater awareness of managers and society regarding the employment of young people.

For a few decades, tattooing has been an unprecedented craze in the West. In the past, only sailors and some marginal populations had recourse to it. This is no longer the case.In Japan, it is a thousand-year-old art that has taken on very diverse meanings over the centuries, but it is considered to be the prerogative of the yakuzas. As a mark of identity, the tattoo seals a tacit pact between the novice and the organization, which chooses its tattoos. The anti-gang laws of 1992 put an end to the influence of the yakuzas on the Japanese society and, under penalty of fine, it is forbidden to display tattoos. Also, the members of the organization are careful not to show them in public.David Cardoso is a member of the yakuza tattooists' brotherhood. He reveals the practices in force within this universe which remains impenetrable to any Westerner, where tattooists and yakuza share the same codes.

-PART 1: How marine protected areas adapt and mitigate to climate change PART 2: Marine protected areas in Morocco - the impact of climate change on MPAs In view of the deteriorating state of marine ecosystem and biological resources, the marine protected area (MPA) is proposed as one of several instruments to maintain an effective conservation policy. This instrument has two main objectives: the first is to protect the resources, and the second is to enhance the human activities that exploit these resources. In order to achieve these objectives, several difficulties have been mentioned such as the determination of the location of the MPA, its size, and the degree of protection. Ecological economics with the introduction of bio-economic models has combined biological and economic aspects to determine the impacts of the MPA.

Diggers, meaning "diggers," are people who are interested in exploring man-made underground structures. Modern digging is a youth subculture and needs its own mythology, legends and even some kind of quasi-religion. The leader of Russian diggers Vadim Mikhailov, the founder and leader of the international and Russian "Diggers" movement, is considered to be the founder of the "Inner World" Digger philosophy. The philosophy of "Inner World", according to Vadim Mikhailov, is the "foundation and concentrator of life of a modern man" in the conditions of underground space and underground time. The basis for this philosophy is the idea of our planet as the Hollow Earth.Diggers are convinced that the Hollow Earth theory, together with the philosophy of the "Inner World", is a science, a myth, an emerging religious cult, and esoteric knowledge.

As information technology advances, as well as communication, the emergence of an interactive behavior model is driven. In view of this, this paper aimed to investigate the use of fanpages (specifically Facebook) as a digital marketing tool by financial operations companies, and the companies Visa and Nubank Brazil were selected. Posts from the aforementioned social network were analyzed in a qualitative way using post categorization and content classification. The results obtained show that both companies use Facebook fanpage as a digital marketing tool, however, they differ in the strategy of user posts on the fanpage: Nubank leaves the fanpage completely open for user posts, a reason that seems to provide more interactions, while Visa leaves its fanpage closed. In relation to the content direction of the posts, Visa and Nubank focus more on advertising, while Nubank focuses more on information content.

The transition to international accounting standards will have an impact on all aspects of the auditor's work. Indeed, the impact of the change will not only be limited to the audit of the first financial statements established according to the international accounting standards, but also to other aspects, such as the cost of the mission which will certainly increase due to the increase in the work to be carried out by the auditor, as well as the interference of the auditor in the management of the company, in particular when he/she is going to assess the transition plan prepared by the managers of the audited company or when he/she is going to help the company to make a choice of accounting method provided for by the new standards. To this end, this report presents a practical approach to successfully make the transition to international accounting standards and, where appropriate, the impact of this change on the auditor's mission.

Chemotherapy-induced peripheral neuropathy (CIPN) is a common complication. These chemotherapies for which patients present symptoms in the short term are most often the platinum derivatives (PD) and Taxanes. The neurotoxicity of these molecules has long been reported. Their indications are often similar. However, it would appear that their neurotoxic effects would not have the same weight chronologically. This is what we have tried to explain in this book in order to better guide the clinician in his management.

The European Union has changed its paradigm in the formation of its Environmental Law. Unesco, in 1989 in Vancouver (Canada), declared: "The survival of the planet is now a major and immediate concern (...). Any delay in the establishment of a world eco-cultural peace will only increase the cost of survival". In line with this warning, the United States and the European Union first adopted strict liability regimes for environmental damage. The "polluter pays" principle, which appeared at the end of the 20th century and was inspired by the United States, seemed at first sight to be the most suitable to ensure the almost systematic repair of damage. However, the European Union noted the negative financial consequences of the principle and its legal fragility and turned to the principle of fault-based liability in 2004.

The Democratic Republic of Congo is experiencing a significant and complex growth of NGOs operating in different sectors of social life. In my capacity as a legal researcher and observer of the life of ASBLs and wanting to understand the organisation and functioning of NGOs, it was important to put in place this guide in order to respond on the one hand to the legal formalism with regard to the law in force and, on the other hand, to bring our analyses and observations in order to denounce the lack of associative and extrovert spirit which animates the majority of Congolese NGOs. The main objective of this work is to encourage the so-called Northern NGOs in their fight against poverty and anti-values to first build the man who will take charge of the future of his society and not a simple manager of a project conceived in the West by experts who, for the most part, do not know the Congolese difficulties. Its NGOs help underdeveloped countries to undertake a long journey towards the rule of law and social well-being. Affirming the need for a change of mentality in the operating system of Congolese NGOs.

Ulrich Le Vergor relates in this book a pivotal period in West Africa, between the yoke of colonialism and the independence of the young African nations. This research work focuses on the involvement of Syrian-Lebanese communities in the political domain, from the genesis of African political parties to the new independent states. The conciliation of the Syrian-Lebanese with the African elites was of course a certain stake for their future in West Africa. It was, of course, a crucial strategy for this community to continue to prosper, but by no means the only factor. This strategy was also the result of multiple currents stemming from anti-colonial movements, such as Pan-Arabism and Pan-Africanism. All these movements have influenced the Syrian-Lebanese opinion and vision of colonial and post-colonial societies, in which they represented a link.

The book reveals the challenges and prospects of fighting corruption in Africa. It argues that Africa has developed several impressive development plans; unfortunately, most of them have failed because of corruption. To address this challenge, Africa initiated a continent-wide anti-corruption programme in 2018. This publication therefore recounts how the African Union has traced its transformative steps and developed a 50-year Agenda 2063 for development. It explains the African anti-corruption architecture, the roles and activities of African governments at national, regional and continental levels and how many African states continue to be complacent in the name of fighting corruption. It highlights the achievements and challenges of fighting corruption in Africa and argues that the design of an anti-corruption architecture is fundamental, but that commitment to its implementation is far more important. He concludes that current trends in corruption must be prevented if Africa's transformation is to take place.

The learning assessment directed to students with disabilities is a tool of fundamental importance in the teaching and learning process, guiding a process of educational transformation. Moreover, by understanding the specificities of the students, it allows the assessment actions to be assertively carried out. However, the assessment practices are still fixed in the pedagogy of the exam, covering assessments of punctual and static nature that emphasize the grades. Thus, it is essential to invest in an inclusive assessment, since the focus becomes the individual's potentiality and ability, instead of emphasizing the peculiarities of their disability. Thus, the present research had, as a general objective, to carry out an investigation on the practice of learning assessment carried out with students with disabilities enrolled in undergraduate and graduate courses at the Faculty of Economics, Administration, Actuarial Science, Accounting, Executive Secretariat and Finance (FEAAC) of the Federal University of Ceará (UFC).

Within the framework of the adaptation to the climatic changes, by advocating a study of remote sensing of the city, to identify and measure the zones permanently floodable and flooded by associating them with the climatic models of the pluviometric predictions it was possible to register on our maps processed by GIS under Arc Gis the curves of the levels SRTM, to understand the leveling of floods below the 400m altitude threshold in the city of Kisangani, to identify the months with high rainfall and to find out how many seasons there are in Kisangani and to measure the floodable and flooded areas by associating them with the climate models of rainfall predictions to predict the risks of flooding. In addition, adaptation to climate change involves, among other things, the construction of dykes and water retention basins, the cultivation of wood energy, the fight against poverty by converting ponds into fish and rice growing areas, the treatment of wastewater, the prevention of water-borne diseases, and the financing of studies on climate predictions and modeling in risk areas such as Kisangani.

The geological history of the Rio Del Rey sedimentary basin has been known since the 1980s, and the majority of the large oil fields discovered more than 20 years ago are already tending to be depleted. According to the latest report declared by the national hydrocarbon company, production in Cameroon would have gone from 26.8 million barrels for an average daily production of 73,094 barrels in 2009 to 21.4 million barrels in 2011 for 63,211 barrels per day, a decline of 13.08% compared to 2008. The purpose of this work will therefore be to show that in this basin, there are still hydrocarbon reserves that could probably be exploited and that could make up for the deficit observed during the previous years, particularly from 2008 to 2011. Thus, it will be based on the evaluation of a block located in the southwest of the Rio Del Rey from 3D seismic data and wells. This study will consist of determining the type of trap, the place of accumulation of hydrocarbons, the extension of a reservoir and the estimation in volume of its content by designing a 3D model that is as close to reality as possible.

Mankind has probably never been so prolific in the artistic field as in our time. Our time has witnessed the appearance of new words and popular concepts that are in vogue and very fashionable: Cyberart, digital works, multimedia art, etc.. Many artists will claim the status of digital works, for their productions and make this new space their specific field of expression. In addition, a new category of individuals constituted of Webmasters, Computer Graphics, Designers, claims the status of digital artists. And it is in this context that the problem of digital artistic creation arises. Faced with all this, the need for a specialized lighting is felt. Does digital art deserve a place among all movements and art forms in the great artistic classifications? Or is there an ontological or non-ontological reason why digital creations cannot be recognized as truly artistic? Is digital art an art in its own right or an art entirely apart?
