Evidence-based medicine (EBM) is the explicit and judicious use of the most efficient evidence in making decisions about the care of individual patients. EBM does not work on the basis of intuition, it says that through clinical experience and pathophysiology concrete clinical decisions can be made, emphasizing the value of clinical examinations and scientific evidence provided for clinical research. In pathologies such as Parkinson's disease, where not only the occupational performance of the person is affected, but also his or her immediate environment. Offering treatment to people and their families, with the greatest possible certainty and efficacy, is fundamental and the MBE is the one who facilitates it.

The problematic addressed in this research is based on the main question of the participation of civil society in national development. It is based on two main observations. Firstly, the unsatisfied needs of the population despite the implementation of development projects that are supposed to bring about a better well-being and reduce poverty. The second observation concerns the inability of the State to fully address all the development sectors without the support of civil society. The methodology adopted is based on simple random sampling with data collection from one hundred (100) NGOs and Associations constituting CSOs in Togo. In addition, the analysis of the contribution of Togolese civil society focused on three areas, namely, the protection of children's rights, women's rights and the care of PLWHA (people living with HIV/AIDS). This research shows the role that civil society organizations play in the development of African countries and in Togo in particular, in a continent decimated by political and ethnic conflicts.

When we follow the origins of the feeling of morality and its unfolding in different human societies, we can see that at its core lies the problem of violence and the means to avoid, diminish or control it. Therefore, through a study of reality and of our biological aptitudes for altruistic behaviour, we can observe the importance of these characteristics for human and scientific development. Bioethics seeks exactly to diminish the damage caused by man to other animals and to himself. And considering the importance of empathy and perception for the recognition of animal suffering, we observe that people who limit their moral considerations to the boundaries of their own human community may be more indifferent to the suffering of other animal species. Thus, a society that represses our moral considerations and endangers our mental health, may at some point produce a population indifferent to suffering, making acts of violence common, contributing to an inhumane education, and in a specific case, may also contribute to an inhumane science.

Flax is a herbaceous plant whose seeds are rich in polysaccharides, polyphenolics and essential fatty acids that are beneficial to health and could help prevent certain diseases.First, the effectiveness of this plant in healing experimental burns in rabbits was evaluated. Flaxseed oil significantly and rapidly reduced the surface area of the wounds compared to other treatments. The histological study showed that wounds treated with linseed oil showed thinning of the epidermis and more marked neo-vascularization of the granulation tissue, which is favorable for good tissue regeneration. Given these results, flaxseed oil could be suggested as a promising phyto-healing agent. The aim of the second experiment is to estimate the hair regrowth in adult rabbits. The trichogenic effect is quite marked. Indeed, the results show that the ingestion of flax seeds results in an increase in the length of the strands collected with a slight growth in the diameter of the hair. The use of this plant could thus be proposed as a promising treatment for alopecia.

Excess mortality appears to be associated with rheumatoid arthritis, with life expectancy reduced by 5 to 10 years. Several studies have recently emphasized the preponderance of cardiovascular events in the excess mortality associated with rheumatoid arthritis, and atherosclerosis is currently considered an inflammatory process. The latter is similar to that observed in rheumatoid arthritis. Other explanations could account for this risk, in addition to the inflammatory syndrome, there is the greater prevalence of cardiovascular risk factors, the deleterious effect of treatments, the lesser prevention of cardiovascular diseases in patients with rheumatoid arthritis. All these factors make it necessary to look for high-risk situations and the risk factors that are responsible for them. This conduct will interest asymptomatic subjects to establish primary prevention and specific populations for secondary prevention.

This book deals, but not only, with bilateral air agreements, precious legal instruments of air law, which were, until recently, the framework founding the establishment of international air services, whether scheduled or not, between states. However, some initiatives, of great importance, concerned international air services, in addition to that which reformed the traditional air agreements with a view to their liberalization. Without neglecting the American initiative of 1978 which concerned the deregulation of air services within American territory. Moreover, the most important and the most complete, until today, is undoubtedly that initiated by the European Union. The Member States were affected by a new community air order. The regionalization of air services has been approached differently depending on the degree of cooperation between the States Parties.

This book is the culmination of thirteen years of research in the field of archaeology as it relates to major works in Côte d'Ivoire. It first attempts to understand the organisation and functioning of Ivorian archaeological research from the first finds at the beginning of the 20th century to the present day. Then, on the basis of extensive documentation on the destruction of sites, it calls for the establishment of preventive archaeology as an alternative to "protect through study" the sites threatened with destruction by major works in Côte d'Ivoire. This "White Paper" on archaeology in Côte d'Ivoire is also intended as a handbook for policy makers, archaeologists, students and cultural heritage professionals in sub-Saharan Africa.

It is pretentious to suggest that law, as a set of norms, however binding, can regulate the fury of arms in combat. The notions are diametrically opposed. Law is invisible, intangible, ordering and psychological and weapons are the most empirical, concrete and chaotic. However, this relationship between law and arms has taken shape since ancient times in the slogan cedant arma togae, which has changed in intensity and meaning according to the times and the balance of power between belligerents. In the end, the Law of Armed Conflict does not hinder military necessity and should not reasonably hinder it.

This book aims to contribute to the understanding of the importance of human capital development, highlighting its advantages for obtaining significant results in reaching the goals established in its analytical planning, reducing staff turnover and obtaining profit. As an innovative potential, it is essential that companies incorporate it into their Strategic Management of Human Resources and administrative practices to act competitively in current and future scenarios. For the company to keep rising and develop a competitive base in the market, it needs to pay attention mainly to its internal resources, that is, human capital, to build an important survival strategy thus creating a tip for obtaining the success of the organization. It highlights the importance of people for the company and that their performance depends on them, which enables it to remain more balanced and structured in the market, ensuring that at the end of the process the desired success is obtained and new goals can be set, by the confidence and capacity that its human capital can exercise for their own benefit and on behalf of the organization.

The managerial practices in our Health Care Facilities call upon managers and lawyers to examine not only the actuality of legal texts but also the impact that health legislation could have on hospital management. The health legislation has necessarily an influence, whether positive or negative, on a health facility whether it is public or private and whatever its size and mission. A study conducted at the Yaoundé University Hospital allowed us to analyze the influence that health legislation can have on the management of a health facility in general and that of the University Hospital in particular. This was a qualitative study during which 12 people responded to our interview on the different themes of our work. The data were collected using a semi-directive interview guide and a non-participant observation grid. They showed the existence of texts, although they need to be updated, applied by managers lacking competence. The need to update the legal texts applicable in the health field and a profound reform of the hospital system emerged.

The issue of natural hazards in general and Floods in particular is a topic of current interest that marks a memorable action in the world and specifically in Tunisia, especially in view of the last major floods of the Medjerda. Indeed, the management of this risk becomes more and more a necessity that must include all actors and all possible means available. In this work, has been exposed the mapping of flood areas of the middle valley of the Medjerda by means of the combination of different complementary approaches of remote sensing coupled with GIS and hydraulic modeling (HEC RAS) and (HEC Geo RAS). The processing and interpretation of satellite images, has allowed to have a digital terrain model of high resolution, a mapping of land use at different dates and a hydromorphological map. Thus, simulations of three flood scenarios with three flows were made for different return periods. The combination of all these results allowed to elaborate the hazard map. This map seems to be one of the most effective means of efficient management.

The relevance of the problem is due to the need to expand the versatility of water-soluble cellulose ethers and the field of their applications. In terms of their importance and properties, water-soluble cellulose ethers are now an independent specific group of cellulose derivatives. It should be assumed that these cellulose derivatives will receive further distribution not only in their traditional applications, but certainly in other new areas, in particular, in medicine - one of the most interesting and perhaps noblest areas of their application. The book focuses on new cellulose ethers synthesized recently, along with the known water-soluble ethers, methods of their preparation, properties, applications, and physiologically active polymers derived from them.

The failure of village water supply projects and the consequences that it has generated raise enormous questions about the participation of populations in development actions. This research proposes to investigate field practices in order to see how participation translates into two of its main objectives, namely the reconfiguration of powers in favor of the poorest and the self-development of local communities. It was conducted in the districts of Pahou and Avlékété and is part of a qualitative research approach that favors the collection of data through in-depth qualitative interviews based on interview guides developed according to the categories of actors. Thus, the introduction of a project into the local political arena in Ouidah is confronted with a complex dynamic of action logics and power issues. The appropriation is made with a political aim that reinforces the relationships of inequality and domination within the local communities.

In September 2021, Burkina Faso will have more than one million internally displaced persons (IDPs) receiving food to cover their food security needs. Our study analyzed the environmental impact of this assistance. It targeted twelve field sites in the country's six humanitarian regions in 2021. The Nexus Environmental Assessment Tool (NEAT+) was used for this study. Field observations showed a negative impact on the environment after food distribution, livestock rearing, farming, and irrigation system deployment. This impact is illustrated by air and water pollution, deforestation, water scarcity, soil degradation, climate change and flooding. This study is being conducted in a context where efforts are being made to strengthen coordination on accountability and environmental management issues. However, these efforts need to be strengthened and coordinated. The shortcomings identified, at different levels, have allowed the formulation of perspectives for a better Environment and Humanitarian Action tandem.

It appears that the XXI° is the century of rapprochement between architecture and the luxury universe. It appears that luxury brands have the ambition to make architecture the pillar of their new marketing strategies. We then witness the incorporation of architecture within the houses, and the appearance of new forms of plural collaborations. Architecture emancipates itself from its functional rigor towards a competitive race for the exceptional, for the iconic. Through the world of luxury, particularly Louis Vuitton, this paper aims to define the icon as an architectural concept. The aim is to see how the architectural icon has become a tool for vectoring and mediatizing the luxury brand. From the embodied icon to the architectural icon, this thesis tends to see how an architectural icon is constructed in the luxury universe, and if it can really still be, today and tomorrow, the tool that will establish the supremacy of the said brand in the contemporary city. By laying the foundations of the icon, of luxury, and of marketing, then through the filters of luxury values, how is an architectural icon conceived, built and acts for luxury?

Autism, a neurodevelopmental disorder with diverse etiologies, continues to attract the attention of researchers. Disabling the child in the areas of communication and interaction, it is considered to be severe and disabling for life. In a contextual and psychodevelopmental approach, this book highlights the contribution of traditional and modern therapies in the care of the child. Using a comparative approach, the author conducted a cross-sectional study of 143 autistic children, all from Gabon, aged 3 to 10 years, divided into two groups. The first group was composed of 75 autistic children, including 21 girls and 54 boys, who had received medical-psychological-pedagogical care in a specialized institution. The second group is composed of 68 autistic children, including 28 girls and 40 boys who benefited from traditional therapeutic practices. This book is in line with new research in human and social sciences, particularly in developmental psychology.

The health of an individual is conditioned by a multitude of factors such as genetics, environment, stress, smoking, types of care, lifestyles, food consumption patterns, etc. There is a strong correlation between nutrition and health, since a balanced diet is a real factor in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases, certain cancers, obesity and deficiency diseases. In order for the health professional to participate in primary health care, in the promotion of correct nutrition, and to be able to integrate general and specific nutritional recommendations for malnutrition, it is important that he/she acquires knowledge related to nutritional needs, the main dietary characteristics, the risks of deficiencies or excesses in vulnerable groups (e.g.: the elderly, pregnant women, infants, adolescents), diseases with nutritional or metabolic determinism, as well as means of prevention. This nutrition course is therefore designed to achieve and enable this type of targeted learning.

This book is about how to acquire, exploit and protect intellectual property assets. Small and medium-sized enterprises in general, and those in the West African region in particular, have very few means of ensuring good management of their intellectual property assets. The aim of this book is to provide them with a simple guide for a non-lawyer to understand the steps and formalities to be completed at all stages: creation of assets, acquisition of titles establishing ownership over the assets, their exploitation, marketing and defence. This guide will enable the reader to understand the specificities of the various intellectual property assets and the possible exploitations. SMEs operate in an environment over which they do not have complete control. As a result, certain actions are the responsibility of governments, which must play their part. The book provides avenues that governments can exploit or explore in order to create an environment in which the owners of intellectual property assets can enforce their rights.

Taxation, as an economic policy device, should actively contribute to the achievement of the objectives of economic growth and social peace. Therefore, it must be reformed as the economic situation evolves. The new approach to taxation is therefore to ensure a better balance between its purely financial and economic function and its function of guiding and implementing social policy. The dynamics of change, for its part, is that the tax administration is taking up the challenge to be more open to its environment and in phase with it. These are the two axes of reflection that we propose to expose through this work. This work is an opportunity to discuss the main aspects of modernization of the Moroccan tax system to guide the efforts of the Moroccan company to adapt to the major changes that the national economy is experiencing and, particularly, due to the emergence of the global information society.

In order to diversify its activities to revitalize its economy, Morocco has focused on the industrialization of the country and launched the "National Pact for Industrial Emergence" which aims to install Integrated Industrial Platforms (IIP) which are poles of competitiveness in the Moroccan way, with the aim of forming business ecosystems capable of attracting FDI through various incentives, and where the interaction between actors requires a relational dynamic based on trust. In this paper, we study this relational dynamic that highlights the role of trust in the attractiveness of the territory and in particular the emergence of Tangier as an automotive cluster.

This research analyzes the impact caused by the signing of a free trade agreement on Ecuador's trade balance during the period 2000-2019. Over the years it has been a topic of discussion and controversy what comes with being part of a free trade agreement. This is why it is important to know in detail and identify its true effects. Regarding the development of the research, in the first place, the calculation and analysis of the coverage rate, export coefficient and degree of openness is carried out. Then, the estimation of the econometric gravity model is carried out, applied to both the United States and the European Union. Based on the results obtained, it is shown that the variables are significant and therefore it is possible to interpret that the GDP variable is directly proportional to the flow, while the distance variable is indirect. Finally, it is concluded that free trade agreements do not have a negative impact on the Ecuadorian trade balance.

It is about making an incursion into the Ivorian culture. Borrowing from the cultural reality the facts of the traditions of the Agni, Tagbana and Malinké communities and present them on the screen. This update is a way to enhance the Ivorian cultural heritage under the leadership of our filmmakers who have understood that no one will come to do it for them. Thus, the dance, funerals, marriage, libation and divination have served as arguments to expose the rich cultural potential of these communities.
