Moringa oleifera Lamarck is a plant grown in many tropical countries, which has numerous popular uses due to its nutritional and pharmacological applications. This plant originates from northern India and belongs to the Moringaceae family. It has the characteristic of adapting to nutrient-poor soils and arid climates. Its seeds are of industrial importance as they produce an oil used to lubricate watches and other delicate machinery. It is also used in the manufacture of perfumes and in the chemical treatment of water. An interesting option to analyse the possibility of the seed oil being used in human food is by placing it as the base of one of the most consumed sauces in the world: mayonnaise. In this work, moringa oil was used to produce homemade mayonnaise, as a substitute for conventional oils. Physicochemical analyses of mayonnaise based on moringa oil were carried out, comparing it with mayonnaise based on soybean and sunflower oil, as well as oil characterisation through LR-NMR analysis. Further research is needed on this, which could be a possible new product to be introduced in the market.

In current times, depression is advancing in a frightening way and may originate in situations in which some people cannot manage their feelings and emotions in the face of the demands of our society, with stress as a factor that can greatly contribute to its outbreak, or even in fixations that may occur in the stages of child development. In this case, given the difficulty in elaborating unpleasant experiences, these emotions will be repressed, lodging in the unconscious, with returns often expressed in the body, without awareness of somatic responses. The purpose of this book is to bring to all those interested a little of the theory of Body Psychology and present some cases with depressive patients, using some therapeutic techniques of this science, which can greatly help the individual to overcome this disorder and organise himself internally. "It is a book that makes us navigate the history of Body Psychology in a simple and clear way, understanding stress and depression from an energetic-emotional point of view, which is missing in many literatures" (José Henrique Volpi).

Urban mobility plays an important role in emerging smart cities, addressing issues such as congestion, pollution and especially accident reduction. The use of new technologies such as VLC (Visible Light Communication) could contribute to different aspects of infrastructure-to-vehicle (I2V) communication such as traffic lights and streetlights with the potential to become smart. One of the major challenges related to VLC rests on flickering, interference and flickering. This paper seeks to present a new VLC communication technique to enhance and make smart the current traffic lights and poles by enabling them to transmit information to vehicles using the existing structures. For this, a prototype using microcontrollers and LEDs was developed. Results obtained demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed solution for I2V communication in smart cities.

The time appointed by God to end the Roman law political system and re-establish the 5th divine law political system arrived on May 03, 1983. In that year, God enthroned his Son, Jesus Christ, to overthrow the world's states and establish the Kingdom of God. The re-establishment of the Kingdom of God implies the balkanization of all multinational states to enable every tribe on earth to establish on its soil a free and independent nation-state totally free from any allegiance to any worldly state. This book presents the advantages of the divine organization of the earth and shows the origins and disadvantages of the creation of multinational states, before proposing the balkanization of the latter as a solution to poverty, unemployment, social inequality and political instability worldwide. This political revolution will begin in the D. R. D. Congo, which God has chosen to be the locomotive of this balkanization. This book is addressed to people of all languages and to all state authorities in the world.

The advent of sustainability brings with it the multiple interactions of all sectors of the economy and the environment due to the increasing severity of environmental problems and the growing awareness of the repercussions of these problems. While conventional national accounts take into account an analysis fundamentally based on economic growth, they reflect only the level of activity of the economy, disregarding issues related to the use of environmental assets traded during the process of transformation of goods and services from these activities. The System of Environmental Economic Accounting (SICEA) contains the internationally agreed standard concepts, definitions, classifications, accounting rules and tables to produce internationally comparable statistics on the environment and its relationship to the economy. The System of Environmental Economic Accounting (SICEA) contains the internationally agreed standard concepts, definitions, classifications, accounting rules and tables to produce internationally comparable statistics on the environment and its relationship to the economy.

The present work aims to bring to the public a constructive dialogue about bibliotherapy, a subject that arouses much interest due to its simplicity and proven effectiveness. Bibliotherapy, known as the practice of telling stories and giving rise to a therapeutic moment of dialogue, reflection and good humour, causing improvements in the physical and emotional state of people, with or without apparent health problems, has also been widely studied for some time. Considered a science, as it has a marked presence in universities around the world, with research related to its nuances and forms of application, it is a prominent theme in the academic world. This practice is presented here through an analysis of the content in the scientific literature, but mainly by the knowledge about the subject acquired over the years of experience of the author, as a volunteer in the Storytellers Group-DPS. As a member of the group since its inception in 2011, and coordinator of one of its teams, the author practices bibliotherapeutic activities at the Hospital de Base do Distrito Federal (HBDF), one of the largest and best-known public hospitals in the region.

The monograph deals with the issues of improving the quality of electrocardiographic systems through optimization of methods of digital processing and intelligent analysis of electrocardiographic signals. The paper proposes informative criteria and methods for evaluating the quality of signal filtering algorithms, develops an effective multistage algorithm for noise suppression and forms a general approach to the selection of significant informative features for the diagnosis of myocardial infarction using electrocardiographic signal recordings in one lead. The solutions proposed in the monograph open up opportunities for building mobile analyzers of electrocardio-signals as part of medical info-communication systems. Such analyzers are able to perform automated express diagnostics of cardiovascular system diseases by means of self-learning intelligent algorithms. The proposed methods of digital filtering simplify the structure with the expansion of the dynamic range of recording electrocardiographic equipment.

In an economic era marked by fierce competition, companies must adopt all the methods authorized by law to improve their competitiveness and keep pace with the global economic market, by means of various restructuring operations, the most important and most widely used of which are partial asset contributions. This is the only restructuring operation that has no legal definition in Tunisian law. The Tunisian legislator has merely listed it among the various methods of increasing the capital of existing companies or creating new companies, without however presenting a specific tax regime for the partial contribution of assets. This book attempts to clarify the ambiguity of the concept of partial asset contribution in Tunisian law.

Juvenile myoclonic epilepsy (JME) is an idiopathic generalized epilepsy affecting older children and adults, with a peak in frequency at puberty. It begins between the ages of 12 and 18, and is rare after the age of 30. The child will have one or more myoclonic jerks that predominate after awakening, associated or not with CGTCs and/or absences. EMJ is an electro-clinical genetic epilepsy. Our aim is to describe the electroclinical, therapeutic and evolutionary aspects of our patients. This is a prospective study from May 2014 to July 2015 at the epileptology consultation of the clinical neurophysiology department. Nineteen cases (11 M +9 F with a sex ratio of 1.22), mean age of onset 16.15 years, extremes from 9 to 30. The age group most affected was 14 to 19 years, with a frequency of 36.85%. History of familial epilepsy (73.68%), consanguinity (5.26%); myoclonic jerks associated with CGTC (64%) absences (10%); pathological EEG in all patients. Point-waves were the most frequent (57.89%), i.e. 11 cases. PHB was the most commonly used treatment, effective in 63.15% (12 cases).

Vermiculture consists of the intensive cultivation of the red earthworm (Eisenia foetida) which, by consuming organic waste, transforms it into humus, which is the highest state of decomposition of organic matter, making it an excellent fertiliser for agricultural crops. In response and in order to increase the resilience of agroecosystems to soil unproductivity, lombrihumus is used as an efficient, environmentally sustainable and low investment cost alternative that improves the physical, chemical and biological properties of the soil, improving its fertility and increasing the nutrient content for the plant, allowing the recovery of soils eroded by the indiscriminate use of chemical fertilisers. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of three diets based on organic residues, bovine manure and plantain rachis for the production of Eisenia foetida and to determine the reproductive behaviour, number of oothecae, production of lombrihumus and leachate and their nutrient concentration levels in the different treatments.

This book sheds some light on the subject of work. Work, an old recommendation, remains one of the few sources of income and well-being. Without work, man becomes dependent on the compassion of others in this capitalist world. This book deals with the aspects of the employment contract that binds employer and employee. It shows us the conditions of validity of the employment contract, its possible modification and also its termination. No one can be forced to remain permanently in the contractual relationship; he or she can leave ad nuttum, but in compliance with the legal procedure. This book will help employees who have been unfairly dismissed to follow the correct procedure to regain their rights.

Bacterial resistance to antibiotics has become one of the major threats facing the global community. It can result either from mutations or from the acquisition of resistance genes carried by mobile (plasmids, transposons, insertion sequences) or mobilizable (integrons) genetic elements. The aim of this book is to provide an overview of the main resistance mechanisms encountered in both Gram-negative bacteria (E. coli) and Gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus). It also describes the main genetic carriers of this resistance.

An important problem is the high concentration of pollutants, which mainly affects the health of workers, as well as the health of the nearby population. In addition, pollutants have a negative impact on the climate. Climate change due to greenhouse gas emissions has become a global concern. In this regard, carbon capture and sequestration technologies are recognized as critical to contain the global temperature rise within 1.5- 2 oCby 2050. The application of these technologies will reduce the amount ofCO2 emitted by businesses.

Today's terrorist threat is global. The centuries-old phenomenon of terrorism knows no borders. In fact, it makes its way across borders. From its Western origins, the terrorist threat has contaminated the Middle East before spreading to Africa. The terrorist threat is not a phenomenon that can be considered remote, outside our borders when it hasn't yet affected us. No country in the world can claim to be immune; indeed, terrorism has claimed more than 3,000 lives in a single day in the United States of America, one of the world's most powerful nations. The fight against terrorism requires the support of our neighbors. The Sahel states must not be abandoned to their fate by their immediate neighbors, the coastal countries of West Africa and Africa as a whole. The Accra initiative launched in 2017, bringing together Benin, Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Ghana and Togo, five years on, what has been its impact? Terrorism continues to gain ground in Burkina Faso, and Benin is under increasing threat.

In this book, we delve into a thorough study of prescriptions and medication consumption profiles in this very vulnerable and important population. The health of the elderly is a complex and challenging issue, especially when it comes to managing multiple health conditions. They often require ongoing pharmacological treatments and may use multiple medications at the same time. Drug interactions pose a significant challenge in contemporary clinical practice. With the frequent use of multiple medications by patients, the chances of interactions occurring that may affect efficacy, safety, and therapeutic outcome increase. These interactions can occur in a variety of ways, involving changes in drug absorption, metabolism, distribution, or elimination. In addition, individual patient characteristics, such as age, health conditions, and concomitant medication use, can influence the potential for drug interactions.

The fig (Ficus carica L.) is the fruit of the fig tree, a member of the Moraceae family, which is the emblem of the Mediterranean basin, where it has been cultivated for thousands of years. Mediterranean countries are the main producers of figs. Algeria produces 12.54% of the world's total fig crop. This fruit is a rich source of fiber, trace elements, antioxidant polyphenols, proteins, sugars, organic acids and volatile compounds that provide a characteristically pleasant aroma. Recently, a great deal of research has focused on the nutritional, physicochemical and pharmacological quality of this fruit. Thus, the proximate composition of fig fruit is reported by various researchers as 77.5 to 86.8% moisture, 2.53 to 3.08% ash, 9.453 to 26.016 (g / 100 g) carbohydrates, 4.4 to 6.7% protein and 4 to 7.4% fiber on fresh weight. Phenolic compounds are a group of secondary metabolites that contribute not only to the fruit's sweet, bitter and astringent taste, but also to its aroma. Figs are rich in glycosidic flavonols, anthocyanins and other polyphenols.

Party autonomy is a principle relating to the freedom of the parties to choose the law applicable to an international contract. However, this principle is limited by rules of public policy, and more generally by mandatory provisions, which reduce the scope of this autonomy. In order to improve the application of these rules while guaranteeing a degree of predictability, it is important to study in detail the origin and nature of public policy rules. A comparative study with Egyptian private international law is necessary to perfect the current mechanisms. The current conceptual debate highlights the role of international cooperation, in addition to purely state interests, which will give rise to a new transnational, even supranational, public policy.

This work brings together texts that address complex and dense aspects in the field of intellectual property in agriculture. Specifically, it presents studies and analyses regarding the Class Action filed by the Unions of soybean growers in Brazil against Monsanto do Brasil Ltda and Monsanto CO. The discussion is about the genetic manipulation of Soya promoted by Monsanto, which created the transgenic seed "Round-up Ready Soya", popularly known as "RR Soya", capable of generating seedlings resistant to herbicides formulated based on Glyphosate, providing significant production gain. In order to obtain patent protection for the seed breeding process, Monsanto has established a system of charges based on royalties, technology fees and indemnities for the use of the seeds. The Unions and the authors of this book believe that the issue should be analysed under the Cultivars Law, not the Patents Law. Thus, they would be allowed, regardless of the payment of any fee to the technology holder, to reserve seeds for replanting, to sell products as food and, as for small rural producers, to multiply seeds.

The literature emphasises the institutional characteristics of each nation as the main explanatory factor of economic growth. There is also evidence that taxation and the efficient application of public resources positively affect the quality of life of citizens. The objective of this paper is to verify the impact of taxes on short-term economic growth and the effects of their efficient application. This paper also set out to verify whether characteristics such as inflation, public spending, interest rates and others related to the degree of freedom of private initiative, property rights, corruption and bureaucracy influence the performance of economies. The sample consisted of 219 countries in the years 2000-2016. The results suggest that excessive tax burdens and red tape negatively impact economies and that their effects are reduced in the long run by efficient public resource management. They also indicate that the effects of ownership, economic freedom and interest rates are positive on growth and quality of life in the long run.

This paper addresses the construction of a marketing plan for a local travel and tourism company. The importance of this plan is the possibility of being able to plan on a very uncertain and changing context, with the purpose of giving a contribution to an industry greatly affected by the crisis that began in June 2018, deepened in 2019 and detonated in 2020 with the pandemic of COVID 19. The research is motivated by the interest and concern about the deep problems that small and medium-sized companies in our country are going through, particularly those in the tourism sector. They need to transform their organizational form to face the great changes of the sector, which give origin to part of the title of this work "from the traditional business model to a digital travel agency", a confrontation that transformed the service of the travel agencies to a digital one.that transformed the service of travel agencies since the 1990s. The need for transformation must have implications in the practice of the sector and must be contemplated in the policies linked to re-launching the tourism industry.
