Numerous nations, including the United Kingdom and its royal dependencies, the Republic of Ireland, the United States, and the former British Empire nations, are represented in English-language literature. More than 1,400 years have passed since the beginning of the English language. Old English refers to the earliest varieties of English, a collection of Anglo-Fresian dialects that were introduced to Great Britain by Anglo-Saxon conquerors in the fifth century. Despite being set in Scandinavia, Beowulf is the most well-known book in Old English and has attained national epic status in England. The written form of the Anglo-Saxon language, however, declined in use after the Norman conquest of England in 1066.French replaced English as the primary language of courts, parliament, and polite society as a result of the influence of the emerging nobility. Middle English refers to the English that was used after the Norman invasion. This kind of English persisted until the 1470s when the London-based Chancery Standard (late Middle English) took over. The Canterbury Tales author Geoffrey Chaucer (1343-1400) played a pivotal role in the acceptance of Middle English as a legitimate literary language at a time when French and Latin were still the two most common literary languages in England. The King James Bible (1611), the Great Vowel Shift, and Johannes Gutenberg's creation of the printing press in 1439 all contributed to the linguistic standardisation of the language.

The aim of this book is to make you realize the importance of not just knowing but learning. Each chapter in this book revolves around a lesson beginning with one of the 26 alphabets that english, as a language, provides us. This book will enable you to learn the significance of each letter in life. This book will compel you to learn the existence of several important things around you which you feel you lack, but you actually don't. This book will urge you to not to mesmerize the 26 alphabets of english as it is but to grab the potent learning it provides. However, to grab this most sought-after asset in life, you need to link all the pearls (in the form of the chapters of this book) in the most appropriate manner, and if you are able to do that, mind you, success is all yours.

¿ As he read, I fell in love the way you fall asleep: slowly, and then all at once." - John Green"When I say I love you more, I don't mean I love you more than you love me. I mean I love you more than the bad days ahead of us, I love you more than any fight we will ever have. I love you more than the distance between us, I love you more than any obstacle that could try and come between us. I love you the most." - Sankalp Mirani

I feel that the short story is as distinct from the novel as poetry is and that the finest tales are closer in spirit to poetry than to novels.Short fiction appears to be more focused - hand grenades of ideas, if you will. They hit, they erupt, and you never forget them when they work. Long fiction has a different vibe than short fiction: it's a lot smokier and less defined.A short narrative is a splinter, a sliver, a vignette. It's a biopsy of the human condition, but it lacks the ability to think for itself.A short story is a love affair; a novel is a marriage. A short story is a photograph; a novel is a film.

Marcus sat in his little upstairs bedroom, his head resting on the misty glass, watching the torrential downpour outside. A thunderclap rattled the home, jarring Marcus out of his slumber and into consciousness. An exhilarating exhale accompanied his abrupt withdrawal from the window."Marcus?"Taking his gaze away from the dismal landscape beyond his window, Marcus turned to look at his elder sister, Sophie, who stood at the entryway of the house.""If you want to say goodbye to Mom and Dad before they go for work, that's OK.""Following his sister down the stairs, Marcus nodded and risked a short glimpse back at his sister through the open window. A coat had been slung over his shoulders, and his mother was applying lipstick at the front door. As she looked in the mirror, she saw Sophie and Marcus coming down from the reflection. She grinned.'I haven't seen you since the early hours of the morning. ""Can you tell me what my little bee has been up to?"" Marcus thought her voice sounded phoney. It caused his insides to twitch.

I walked into the front door and locked it behind me, keeping the cold chill out. To go into the shower, I hurriedly opened the glass door and went into the shower while still fully clad in my clothes. The water had seeped through my clothing, and I had to undress down to my underwear. I went to the store and bought a bar of lavender-scented soap since I couldn't determine whether I should wash or burn the clothing I'd found. As I scraped my hands over the water, the water became a lovely, sudsy pink. I stood there and watched the gory run-off circle the drainage pipe.My thoughts began to clarify as the water began to recede. As soon as I came down from my adrenaline high, I set about making a strategy. After my shower, I'd put my clothing in a bag and toss them in the trash. Trash collection would take place in the morning, and then they'd be gone for good. As soon as I was certain that every single trace of blood splatter had been removed from my body, I walked outside and dried off. I threw on my sweatpants and went to the office.

Machine Translation has been one of the prominent areas of research in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Natural Language Processing (NLP). Although this area has seen a lot of research and we have achieved some major breakthroughs, but still a fully automatic high-quality machine translation remains a distant possibility. One of the major reasons is the lack of resources in the languages for which the translation is to done. One major bottleneck is lack of availability of parallel corpus. In this research, we have tried to address this issue. When we don't have parallel corpus available corpus available for a particular language pair then how can we implement a machine translation system for it.

Snakes are amongst the most fascinating, mysterious and unknown organisms on the planet. But due to unawareness, people have a certain phobia against them, and they often end up unnecessarily hurting, or even killing these magnificent creatures. But why? All over the world, only 20% snakes are venomous, out of which only 7% are fatal to humans. Even many superstitions across the globe cause many species to come on the brink of extinction. This may seem like a very small issue, but snakes too play a crucial role in the balance of nature. Cruelty to snakes is as serious as is cruelty to any other animal. Awareness amongst the population is absolutely necessary to end this. We all, every single one of us, must shoulder the responsibility to end false notions and superstitions, and to create awareness, that if we do not hurt them and leave them alone, they too will not hurt us. Their hurting us is all because of the damage we have inflicted upon nature and the Earth. In this book, I have tried to do my bit to help save these beautiful critters by including essential information about snake species, the IUCN red list, types of scales present on a snake's body, threats to snakes and ways to distinguish between a venomous and non-venomous snake simply by looking.
