I wish upon these bitter laments, thesesubtle raindropspattering across perfectly indifferentparchment paper,a breath of life...May power be present in my pen's stroke, and song belted out with every supple verse;luscious chorus of violent embrace, vibrating in a golden haze, like the hummingbird as he skims acrossa brilliant sunsetand casts his melancholy shadowacross the landscape of time and space:even sadness has its place....Born from the embers of ashen periodsin the author's life,So Cried the Wolfjourneys into the darker expanses of human experience. Told overa span of over 120 poems, each representing its own threadof thought, emotion, sensation, wit, and, sometimes, wisdomin thismeticulously composed tapestry, this collectiontellsa dynamictaleofsuffering and healing.Influenced by literary figures and thinkers as wide ranging as Bukowski,Sartre,Aurelius, H.D. Thoreau, andNietzsche,So Cried the Wolfis a two-part,illustrated collection that interweaves personal experience withexistential philosophical and psychological themes to createa lushand intricatework of poetry. Complexly woven, deeply reflective, and sometimes outright biting,So Cried the Wolf is a vitalcontribution to the modern poetry scene. So Cried the Wolf is written, edited, illustrated, and self-published by upcoming Canadian author and multidisciplinary artist J. 'De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da' is a song performed by The Police and written by Sting from the Zenyattà Mondatta album. The stand-out line in the lyric is: 'meaningless and all that's true'. Poetry may not be strictly literal but its music and emotion often convey something deeply understood and wordplay is fun - right?

These Poems, The Who Trilogy, are written with the belief that We, the inhabitants of this great planet we call Earth, are not alone in this vast universe.Indeed, who are we to be so presumptuous as to think that we are the only so-called intelligent life forms in existence, and, as the questions raised by these poems imply or dare to suggest, have we been here before......?

You all wore masks to protect yourselves from Covid-19. But what sort of 'mask' have you been wearing to protect yourselves from lingering spirits?Nassos Komianos once again comes to stir the waters. If his first book shocked you, what you hold in your hands will send you shivers. The incidents and phenomena he shares with us will leave you speechless. No, he did not discover the wheel, nor did he introduce something novel. On the contrary, he draws our attention to a phenomenon known since antiquity, but which the modern and dominant scientific view deliberately overlooks:The phenomenon of psychic possession.Intrusion is a deliberate move into someone else's territory,a forcing upon another without invitation. As you will see in the cases cited by the experienced regression therapist from his practice, many of the disorders and diseases that affect our fellow human beings do not always have a biological or psychological cause. Nonetheless, they may be due to unimaginable aspects of the spiritual reality unknown to most of us, that is, to psychic stowaways...This book documentary is here to change the rules of the game.It will force you to see things by a different angle because it brings forth evidence with a concise and scientific manner. In that way you will discover along the way the unimaginable dimensions of our psychic nature.

My novel is not meant to scare or panic anyone. It are meant to encourage people to prepare for the known and unknown. How many people now think that workable evacuation plans for New Orleans or Houston were a good idea? It's a little late once the water's up to your attic. The same thing is true of what may potentially happen to all of us in the next few years. Regardless, it is inevitable that planet Earth will face these challenges in the future. Anyone who doesn't believe that is a fool. Ask the people of Atlantis or Lemuria or the other civilizations that vanished almost overnight from this planet. Whether you believe that they existed or not, the evidence that there was some civilization that preceded ours is overwhelming. Machu Picchu, the Nazca lines of Peru, Easter Island, submerged roads off Bermuda, Kailasa Temple, the "stone of the pregnant woman," and so many others were created by someone, but no one knows who or how. Maybe it would be a good idea to prepare for the unexpected. That was the original intent of this novel. The sequels have happened as a natural extension of the first story. This book was never intended to be a series. I had planned to kill everyone at the end, but I just couldn't do it. I wanted to follow them and see how they adapted to their new environment, something that we may all have to do one day, soon maybe, without modern technology. It could prove quite challenging. Mostly, this novel was intended to be interesting enough for students to read. It is written with high schoolers in mind. Therefore, there is no vulgar language or "sex" in this novel, nor will there be in the sequels. This book can be read by anyone of any age without fear of being offended for those two reasons. However, many of the questions posed by the characters are questions that each of us asks at some point during our lives. Questioning the existence of a higher power is human, regardless of your religious upbringing. I believe that the more questions you ask, the better answers you get. Above all, I hope that you enjoy my story. It should make you laugh, cry, angry, sad, and happy. Those are what separate us from the other animals.

Love and hate were once the main purveyors of the gallows. The tragic fates of three women executed by hanging in the days of New France and the United-Canada bear witness to this. Reconstructing the events from historical articles and, above all, from the Ottawa Criminal Archives, the author recounts these little-known stories that animated the lives of former Canadians:¿The crime and hanging of a young Montreal slave, Marie-Joseph Angélique, who, out of hatred, set fire to half the city of Montreal in 1734.¿the murders perpetrated by the legendary Marie-Josephte Corriveau, and her execution in 1763, on the very spot where Quebec's National Assembly now stands.¿the crimes committed by Marie-Anne Crispin, the murder of her husband and that of her lover's wife, as well as her problematic death on the gallows with her accomplice in 1858, which provoked an extremely violent riot in the streets of Montreal. This plunge into the heart of the crimes, trials and executions gives us an unusual opportunity to relive a part of Quebec's judicial History.

Do you sense that God is preparing the older generation to pass on a valuable legacy of our genuine faith in Jesus, the messiah to the generation to come for His next great and incomprehensible work?In order to establish the legacy, the author pens this book to tell the next generations about several stories of people who have experienced Celebration For the Nations (CFTN) over the past years.CFTN truly began with the immeasurable sacrifice accompanied by generous hearts, and then persistently carried on over the years. It should be mentioned that in order to bring it forth, many gave away such precious sacrifices of time, prayers with tears, finance, sweaty labour, etc. Without all of these, there is no way for CFTN to take place over time. I would say that the sacrifice of the worshipper is the heart of CFTN which holds its true beauty. The author dreams that this book may become one of your treasured possessions to cherish and remember what the generation of CFTN has done so far and will use the spiritual legacy as a springboard to take you to the next level on your spiritual journey.
