We've been taught that creativity is for the particular kind; we've been lied to. We've been robbed of our creative superpower - the human right and innate ability regardless of age, gender, and access. Creativity is the very thing that builds movements, families, innovation, invention. It is the heart and soul of our society. In order for us to reclaim our creative spirit, we have to heal the inner child. 'Artistry is for Everyone' focuses on rewriting the narrative of 'the lucky one who is creative', to what creativity truly means and how it is the essential key to thriving individuals and communities.

This book deals with the peregrinations of a seventy six year old man who still lusts for life as he debates with himself the value of it. He has become spiritual in his old age. He also celebrates his twenty second year of sobriety that has enabled him to salvage from the ruins a misspent earlier time. He wonders if he should be overly remiss regarding himself in light of the politics of public opinion these last six years. In fact so unbelievable is it, he wonders if he isn't imagining it all.

See what she has to say in her "Letter to My Brother"!5-Stars: One of the hardest things is to confront a family member, when no one else will. It is even harder when there are children involved. I give Anastasia credit for writing this book and I pray her letter got some results, if not for her brother, but for his kids. Review by Editor at Book Marketing Global Network.

The transition from medieval feudalism to the modern capitalist world -- like that from ancient slavery to feudalism itself -- is considered to be one of the major historical transitions of humanity. The most common explanations for this passage, however, suffer from being more descriptions for this passage than actual explanations for it. This book offers a more acceptable explanation for this passage: The secularization of the Peace of God movement of the early eleventh century.

Marc is definitely an inspired poet: to produce such an immense volume of poetry, without repeating himself, puts him in a unique bracket, while his powers of observation and interpretations of what he sees, senses, reports on often stops me in my tracks. I relate to much of what he writes, but I find myself living experiences I would never live otherwise.Marc Creamore, to me, is a modern day prophet and he is someone often crying out in the wilderness, not just metaphorically; ours is a cruel, harsh world and the poet in this case often finds it painful to experience this world.~Richard Doiron

He had to endure the changes that were happening to his life. He couldn't control them, but he could survive if he could hold on to the pieces of his life that were important. The things that were food for his soul were the healthy relationships he had with his family. He was still active in baseball and basketball, and he enjoyed his time on the field and the courts. Now his career was finally on track and working at his grandfather's company as a designer was all he had ever dreamed it would be. He had to resist letting go of those things vital to his existence. But there was no lover with whom he could share his life and love. To add to his loneliness was the heartache of losing someone that had always been a part of his life.As he stood over his grandfather's grave, he said aloud, "You drive a hard bargain old man, but I accept your challenge. It's time for me to become the captain of the ship, even with this heavy heart."He remembered a quote from his favorite childhood book, "Blind as a Bat, Wise as an Owl". His grandfather had read the story to him until he started reading himself at four years of age. The line that fed his spirit now was, "To fight pain is to anger it and pain always win." And Kwame Jr (KJ) let his tears flow.

The Christian life demands both action and speech. Christians must, in the words of St. James, "live by the word, not content merely to listen to it." And St. Peter exhorts: "If anyone asks you to give an account of the hope which you cherish, be ready at all times to answer for it." The "Slow Motion" collections of Monsignor Ronald Knox take up these admonitions and provide indispensable assistance for the proper fulfillment of these Christian duties. Whereas The Mass in Slow Motion endows its readers with a clear vision of the liturgy and their necessary role therein, this volume, The Creed in Slow Motion, equips its readers to confidently articulate their faith. In the opening sermon, Knox links the Credo to the Confiteor to emphasize the fundamentally personal nature of faith. "It is always Confiteor we say, not Confitemur, even when we are saying it together. Why? Because my sins are my sins, and your sins are your sins; each of us is individually responsible. So it is with the Credo; each of us, in lonely isolation, makes himself or herself responsible for that tremendous statement, I believe in God." As a consequence, the one worthy of the grace to say Credo is also responsible for being ready to say it with proper understanding. Preached with the full homage of Knox's wit and intelligence, The Creed in Slow Motion is a certain aid for achieving that readiness.

Year 3250 BCE. A well preserved frozen iceman body was found covered in 61 tattoos at the elevation of over 10,000 feet in the permanent glacier of Italian Austrian Alps 5250 years later. Same year 3250 BCE. Several Egyptian mummies covered in multiple tattoos were found in the Egyptian Valley of Kings 5 millennia after departing to the afterlife. Year 2000 BCE. A tattooing shop in the ruins of the temple in ancient Southern China was discovered 4,000 years after the earthquake destroyed it. As we can see various forms of body art were practiced by ancient humans for at least 6,000 years, perhaps, much longer. Yet for the last several centuries tattoos and body art became tabooed and were considered deviant behavior until making an amazing comeback in various vivid forms in the late 20th century. Today with help of Igor Kryan book Taboo Tattoo you can delve into the worlds of stunning body art stretching from the dawn of mankind tribal art to the future cyberpunk digital world.

Written by Francis Barrett in 1801, The Magus is a collection of three books. Much of the material was actually collected by Barrett from older occult handbooks, as he hints in the preface: With over 500 pages, It is a collected works of the most famous magicians, such as Zoroaster, Hermes, Apollonius, Simon of the Temple, Trithemius, Agrippa, Porta (the Neapolitan), Dee, Paracelsus, Roger Bacon, Sir Edward Kelly and a great many others... Previous demonologists such as Binsfeld (1589) had drawn up lists that comprised a hierarchy of devils, and attributed them with the power to instigate people to commit the seven deadly sins. Lucifer was associated with Pride, Satan with Anger and so forth. In The Magus Barrett altered the "roster of devils" and Satan now became a prince of deluders (serving conjurers and witches). Edited and illustrated by Edmund Kelly The Magus is a Grimoire that holds its place in occult literature.

Everyone who has spoken publicly wrestles with the thoughts of how to put together a clear, effective, and interesting presentation. We may all at some point heard someone and recognised that they are an effective communicator. It is at those moments that you ask yourself, "How can I prepare effective messages?" I have asked that question of myself many times over the course of many years. As a young man in my first job in financial services I was sometimes expected to present in an office environment and even take meeting. It was then I began to read books like, the classic, Principles and¿Types of Speech by Allan H. Monroe and some management books by Stephen H Covey and the like Later, as a Christian I read "The Art of Preaching", and Biblical peaching by Dr. Robinson is the and W E Sangster Preaching trough the Bible. Dr. Michael Cocurus of Dallas Seminary and the Moody Church in Chicago and his "Introduction to expository preaching" also shaped my preaching. These resources, along with my own experience of preaching and teaching for over 30 years now have given me a foundation and framework for sermon preparation and preaching. What follows are my limited insights and. In many ways I feel unqualified to offer such advise but in truth sometimes when I hear ministers or church leaders preach and teach nowadays, I feel I perhaps can offer something of a framework to help people. In truth, I am sometimes shocked at the lack of forethought or even basic Bible knowledge that some people bring to the pulpit these days. I offer this advice mainly because I see so little expositional preaching in the modern evangelical church. I believe there are some basic guidelines that we can apply to preaching and to teaching and leading Bible Studies when approaching it from an expository framework.
