Formal training in radiology focuses on the identification and characterization of abnormality. Such skills are necessarily, but not sufficient to thrive in modern practice. One of the greatest predictors of professional satisfaction and overall productivity for radiologists is work efficiency - a skill not often formally taught. This book provides a comprehensive review of techniques that a radiologist may use to improve work speed, without compromising quality. Small differences across many domains (e.g., image analysis, reporting, and communication) add up to large differences in work efficiency. Topics covered in this text include (though are not limited to): Why Developing Efficiency is a Training PriorityOverarching Principles in Improving EfficiencyPACS Interface OptimizationOverview of Effective ReportingEfficient Dictation TipsMacro OptimizationMacro Special Functions and OrganizationEducational Preparation (For Residents and Fellows)Workflow Organization (For Attendings and Practices)Physiological and Cognitive OptimizationEnvironmental OptimizationHardware OptimizationAutoHotKey and Macro ScriptingAutomation, Informatics, and Other EfficienciesThe Future of Radiologic Efficiency>Not all variation in efficiency is easily modified. However, the strategies we discuss can help radiologists hone their abilities to the greatest extent possible. This book can be a useful guide on your journey in becoming the best - most accurate, thoughtful, and efficient - radiologist you can be.

Marriage is not a human construct but a divine covenant, designed for the mutual fulfillment and satisfaction of a man and woman. In A Marriage that THRIVES, the author introduces a new 7-part framework that challenges you to pursue a relationship that does not just tolerate your differences but celebrates your oneness! Rather than viewing marriage as an endurance test, or playing "defense" to avoid divorce, this book encourages the reader to go on the "offensive" to achieve the abundance God intended you to enjoy for a lifetime. Has anyone ever asked you; "Who are you?" Have you ever asked yourself; "Why am I?" Why do I think the way I do, and why are my relationships what they are? My relationships start off well, but often end in turmoil, why? You may have suppressed thoughts of a traumatic experience subconsciously living with you. Have you unknowingly been misled by your childhood religion to whitewash pain and disappointment with Jesus suffered so I too must suffer? Does what you were forced to believe as a child, agree with the principles of your adult life? At this point in your life, you may feel that you are living on purpose because you have decided that what has happened in the past is the past and everything has worked out for your good. In fact, you are who you are because of your past and the person you are now is the person you are supposed to be. Are you certain of that or is, "worked out for my good" a form of whitewash? Unfortunately, indoctrination, pain and hurt do not surface without a key to open the vault, and often, it's your significant other who has that key. It is then that you are revealed, all the pain, suppressed thoughts and repressed feelings are set free to cause your relationships to all end the same. Have you ever had to love someone out of their pain? You couldn't understand how the person could say they love you while hurting you at the same time, but because of your love for them, you endured. Church Hurt, Hands That Prey helps answer your questions, "Why am I, have I been living in the shadows of those who have preyed upon me, are those the hands that have formed me? You have not come upon this book by accident... Deeply seated pain is usually discovered later in life, this book helps you understand "the Person behind the Pain. So often we meet people who are the product of a painful past; the representative, but not the real person because to keep living with the pain, they had to become someone else. We must uncover layers to meet that person. Even those we love require the removal of "Fig Leaves," (the external covering) before we can ever know them... May this book be the answer to your question; Why must I endure pain to "See You?"... To Love You...

So what happens when you think you have it all figured out? When it came to health and wellness and finding my best health and even how I could help others find their best health...I thought I had it all figured out. Living with type 1 diabetes since the age of 7, I made numerous trips to my local pharmacy and I was always mesmerized by how awesome my pharmacist was. She always talked to me like I was someone and even when I picked up my insulin, literally a lifesaving drug, she never made me feel like a number. I was Tina and my health was important. This experience influenced my decision to pursue a career as a pharmacist and I was excited to give back and help others find their best health. Fast forward 37 years...and things just weren't the same. My desire to help people in the pharmacy was nothing like my experience when I was 7. What I learned behind that pharmacy counter was hard to swallow. People were no longer people. Now, they had become numbers. People were a quota, a prescription, a service and my ability to help them make decisions for their best health...was discouraged. A quick survey up and down the pharmacy bays and all the medications that stared back at me got me thinking. Not only was I thinking about their health but it got me thinking about my health. No one was getting healthy and no one was getting less medications. It was like I had become an all you can eat buffet except when it comes to medications, this is one meal, that the fewer the trips you make, the better. It took opening a package insert one day and reading it's 2-point font fine detail to realize...there had to be another way. It would take me a few years to come up with a plan but in 2019...I started my transformation. I left my career as a pharmacist and became a nationally board-certified health and wellness coach and got certified as a diabetes care and education specialist as well as becoming board certified in advanced diabetes management. What I learned on this journey, when I found ME, and put ME back into the equation was that the impacts to my health...were astounding! This workbook is meant to share a part of my journey as well as the activities I did that were so critical to finding my best health. In a world that seems to have normalized being sick...I hope that you will see through my journey...that it doesn't have to be this way and there is a different approach out there. The current approach, which is so eager to leave you out of the equation, is not the answer. This approach will help you...find YOU...and put you back into the equation. Once you find you...the magic pill you have been seeking...is there. Start your journey and remember that you can do this...one step and one bite...at a time.
