I'm Jana Tayfour, a dreamer like Anne Shirley, free spirited like Jo March and a headstrong girl like Lizzy Bennet. Writing is my passion , and I always wished I could publish something of my own. This collection of simple poems or thoughts are how I used to express my feelings to myself in my comfort zone. Not a lot of people have seen them or read them. I'm giving my thoughts the chance now to see the light. The Thoughts are nothing professional , but just a spontaneous wave of thoughts.
Reflections on Reality is my observation of mostly my reality. The reality of what I've dealt with in the past few years and the deep thoughts and feelings I may not verbally express regarding it, but, rather put down on paper. Intertwined with those are many other random thoughts that I wrote. Nonetheless I welcome you to my Reflections on Reality.

This collection of poetry and short stories is all based on my life. It has many insights within it, brought to me by my guardian spirits and lessons learned through those gifts. Many are light filled and happy, others dark and broody, a balance of dark and light, as I am. This book is a fluctuating scale that represents the struggle for me to accept both the light and dark parts of myself and to always try to stay in the grey. To walk the line with balance and strength so as to stay in the lighter side and not fall off completely into the darkness. But as I know all too well, there is no light without darkness and no darkness without light. Neither can be seen without the other's presence.

The book encompasses 21 poems, which were written during times of sadness or apathy. While the poems do not delve deep into the psyche of the poet, he tries his best to convey his strong emotions towards the topic at hand. Each poem deals with a different topic, although they all might share an emotion that lingers towards a sharp and hopeless one.
