To love is to lose, life's ugly truthintegral, terrible part of life, death preys on all, a fate worse than itself, sometimes it gets those closest to us.Soaring and sinking is a gripping visual poetry collection that narrates a complete story through the enmeshed ensemble of 24 poems of how the grieving heart sinks and soars, only to sink again. It has an underlying theme of deep melancholy and grapples with difficult topics like hyper independence, depression, loneliness, suicidal thoughts and how these compound and confound the experience of grief, loss and the life after. It strives to find meaning in this fleeting flimsy existence we all share as humans and gives a satisfying conclusion to this underlying, old-as-time question. A product of deep emotional turmoil, it brings a unique perspective to the experience of grief that is as common as life itself.

"The old me is gone. I cut all ties of the old me. That is not me. I want to bring forth the me, that wants to represent who I am as a woman, that though I may have had traumas in my life, I won't let that define who I am. I am going to be the better version of who I am, truly inspired to wear the invisible badges of strength, confidence, courage, compassion, empowerment and fearlessness." - Chloe Rebekah, A Woman's Worth?

Python Dance is a play about a family that overcame tribal conflicts. Amid constant oppression, love wins. A couple's love is put to the test when the husband has to choose between the military and his wife. Growing suspicion and ethnic differences amongst their loved ones propelled the play forward. Also, the play revolves around a true-life story of a historical and illegitimate military assault on an ethnic emancipation group leader. Python Dance was a code name given by the Nigerian military for a brutal mission against those they were supposed to protect. The goal was to eliminate a particular political opponent. The play Python Dance gives the audience a chance to experience the interaction of ordinary citizens, their fear, their aspirations, their needs, and above all, their capacity to love in difficult times.

Every life has a tale to tell. However the sad point is that in most cases there is no one to communicate it to the world at large. Maa is an absolutely authentic, transparent and honest memoir of my mother but it is certainly not something to be kept personal and not public because the story and the learning it contains is immense and that is very much essential for each and every such woman of this country at least who believe that their family is more important than they themselves. It is learning for every such woman who digest many unpalatable events in their life with a pinch of agony thinking there will be better times ahead and thus losing out on life and what it has to offer. Maa tracks the journey of my mother since her birth and the important events that take place in her life. How her life keeps molding for the worse with the passage of time and finally how circumstances disallow her to lead a decent and peaceful life.

The moment "Oh..Julia...My Daughter" was breezing in words, a cute girl got portrayed in the author's inner mind. She was deprived of the comity of her mother and she simply expects motherly love from her father. But destiny has its arcane designs for both of them. If the girl pops off, how will the father survive lonely? If a father fails to fulfill the unique wish of a loving daughter? Surely the grief would haunt him for the rest of his life. And what happens, if the father's life has a vehement doleful end!! These tangled questions led the author to the vented skyline of this story. It discerns the innocent world of children along with their parents in the entranced arena, with the deadly combinations of mazy circus life, the magician's outfoxing and the police investigation to ravel one murder mystery, keeping the readers' intense curiosity intact. Banging away on human values ¿¿and money, entwined with truth, love and faith, is devilishly ancient. Only materialistic ecstasy can be enough for ? What does a man want as happiness? Will a man be happy if he gets it? But if he has trampled on someone's love and faith while acquiring wealth, will the inward bliss give him everything in this world? The sole moment of realisation reveals the craving for a relationship is more genuine than the hunger for money. "Oh Julia ..." truly depicts a father and daughter's fantabulous relationship in, of and after life enfolded in an entertaining essence. -P.R.Ramdasi.

Every journey begins with a word uttered to the wind in the silence of solitude. Each tale crafted as prose or poetry was once a promise to a self that died in the calamities of life. Unsaid words cling together to tell the stories of strong souls, with metaphors of trauma and similes of grief. When the extinction of the human race becomes a calculated experiment, will slumber bring comfort? When the demons that haunt you become a part of your soul, will peace ever find you? When sunlight could turn flesh to stone, will sun-rays ever remind you of warmth? When broken hearts could never mend, will hope ever adorn the horizon? When passion and persistence burn in your heart, will despair ever smother you? The most neglected relationship is with yourself. Oftentimes, we give so much love and care for others, and give what's just left for us, worst is we forget to care for ourselves the way we do for others. Self-love is more than the physical self-care: of pampering our bodies, enjoying what we want to do or where we spend time for our passions. It is more than the tangible things we provide ourselves with, as a gift or reward for an achievement. It is more than being kind to ourselves. Self-love is self-preservation of our sanity, our safety and our spirituality. It is loving the wholeness in us, the acceptance of our flaws and faults, the sense of self-worth. We all know these things, but it is the hardest to do: to love ourselves first. Thus, our love tank often runs dry of the supply of love to sustain us, simply because we sacrifice self-love. Know the five worst effects of sacrificing self-love, have a self-check as you go through each pages, and begin to affirm and promise to love yourself more!
