Ղազարոս Աղայան (1840 - 1911թթ.), հայ գրող, մանկավարժ, հրապարակախոս Սկզբնական կրթությունն ստացել է ծննդավայրում՝ Բոլնիս-Խաչեն (այժմ Վրաստանում) հայաբնակ գյուղում և ապա Շամշուլդա գյուղի քահանա Տեր-Պետրոսի մոտ։ Մեկ տարի սովորել է Թիֆլիսի Ներսիսյան դպրոցում, այնուհետև զբաղվել է ինքնակրթությամբ Դասավանդել է Ախալցխայի, Ալեքսանդրապոլի, Երևանի, Շուշիի դպրոցներում 1861-62 թթ.-ին եղել է գրաշար Թիֆլիսում, 1862-67 թթ.-ին՝ Մոսկվայում և Սանկտ Պետերբուրգում 1867 թ.-ին վերադարձել է հայրենիք Աղայանը 1900-ական թվականներին Թիֆլիսում Հովհաննես Թումանյանի ստեղծած Վերնատուն գրական խմբակի եռանդուն անդամներից էր, նրա նահապետը Աղայանը գրել է բանաստեղծություններ, հեքիաթներ, վիպակներ Նա օժտված էր բնության զարմանալի զգացողությամբ և նկարչի նուրբ դիտողականությամբ Նրա պոեզիայում առանձնանում են Հիշողություն, Ճախարակ, Սերմնացան, Մանուշակ բանաստեղծությունները, Տորք Անգեղ պոեմը Իսկ արձակ գործերից հայտնի են Արություն և Մանվել, Երկու քույր վեպերը Հայ հեքիաթագրության լավագույն նմուշներից են Աղայանի Անահիտը, Արեգնազանը, Հազարան բլբուլը, Վիշապին հաղթողը, Եղեգնուհին և այլն Մանուկների համար գրած նրա բազմաթիվ ստեղծագործություններ առանձնահատուկ տեղ ունեն հայ մանկական գրականության մեջ

It was later published in a single volume. It is the second of Dostoevsky's full-length novels after he returned from his exile in Siberia, and the first great novel of his mature period.Crime and Punishment focuses on the mental anguish and moral dilemmas of Rodion Romanovich Raskolnikov, an impoverished St. Petersburg ex-student who formulates and executes a plan to kill a hated, unscrupulous pawnbroker for her money, thereby solving his financial problems and at the same time, he argues, ridding the world of an evil, worthless parasite. Several times throughout the novel, Raskolnikov justifies his actions by relating himself to Napoleon, believing that murder is permissible in pursuit of a higher purpose.

The Black Arrow: A Tale of the Two Roses is an 1888 novel by Robert Louis Stevenson. It is both an historical adventure novel and a romance. The Black Arrow tells the story of Richard (Dick) Shelton during the Wars of the Roses: how he becomes a knight, rescues his lady Joanna Sedley, and obtains justice for the murder of his father, Sir Harry Shelton. Outlaws in Tunstall Forest organized by Ellis Duckworth, whose weapon and calling card is a black arrow, cause Dick to suspect that his guardian Sir Daniel Brackley and his retainers are responsible for his father's murder. Dick's suspicions are enough to turn Sir Daniel against him, so he has no recourse but to escape from Sir Daniel and join the outlaws of the Black Arrow against him.
