The world around us seems more confusing and chaotic than ever. We have questions about our lives: meaning, purpose, and satisfaction. We search for answers. Our worldview is our belief about God, ourselves, and the world around us. In the middle of the chaos, we attempt to make sense of life. Life's Inescapable Questions are more than the philosophical questions in the classroom. These questions are an internal dialogue as we attempt to answer the questions of our existence such as: Who Am I? Why Am I Here? Where Am I Going? and How should I live? How we answer these straightforward questions shapes our view of God and ourselves. From this, we determine our identity along with the purpose and meaning of life and how we are to live it out. It sets the direction and destiny of our lives. Amazingly, answers to these basic questions are found in the ancient source of wisdom-the Bible. Once you begin understanding the principles of the Bible, the personal meaning of life becomes clearer. You will discover that truth is knowable and corresponds to reality. Human history is going somewhere meaningful. God has a purpose for your existence in His plan. God loves you and has provided a way that you can have a personal relationship with Him. He wants you to know peace and purpose in your life. This book draws inspiration from the study of philosophy and theology, and the passion rekindled as a pastor, teaching the Worldviews Class where I serve. It is written as an entry-level worldview discussion and primer suitable for a college ministry grappling with the major issues that set the direction of their lives. Hopefully, this worldview primer will give you the foundations for a biblical understanding of God, yourself, and others. Some may discover the deep satisfaction of a relationship with Christ, and living for Him. A few people may be drawn to explore more deeply Life's Inescapable Questions and a biblical worldview. To whatever end I pray that all are drawn to the Creator's purpose for them.

The book of Hebrews is a message of warning. The admonition to "hold fast" to one's profession is found three times in Hebrews. The admonition was to hold fast to the better hope, better testament, better covenant, better promises, better thing, a better and enduring substance. They were warned not to forsake this new and better way. This booklet is an exegesis of a key passage concerning those who may forsake the new and better way.For those of us who believe in the possibility of personal apostasy, Hebrews 6:4-6 is obviously one of the most important passages. It ranks right along with Hebrews 10:26-29 and 2 Peter 2:20-22 not to mention several other signi¿cant passages-as providing the basis for our teaching on the subject. The purpose of this book is to present a thorough exegesis of this passage and to treat questions about how it relates to the possibility that a truly regenerate person may "fall from grace." One thing all Christians ought to be able to agree on-whether on this doctrine or not-is that all our teaching should be based on what the Bible has to say and not on traditional philosophical-theological arguments. My aim, then, is to determine exactly what Hebrews 6:4-6 teaches.

Have you ever wondered why the world is so broken? Where is God among the fragmented pieces of life? What are God's answers to ordinary people, who have been gathered from the broken world to become a redeemed grace-filled community? The Apostle Paul addressed this when writing to people living in First Century Ephesus who had gathered to worship and adore Jesus Christ their Savior and Messiah. This monumental letter is packed with theological and doctrinal truth that mends people at the core of their humanity. By His grace, Christ had saved each one of them and gathered them into a new community of faith. These grace-gathered ones are called to imitate the love and grace of their Heavenly Father to whom they now belong. As His children, they are to be growing in their understanding of their new life in Christ. In Christ, there is a depth of satisfying love that not only mends their hearts but also produces love for those around them who are still broken.Through the power of the Holy Spirit, this Grace Gathering carries forth the Good News of eternal life in and among the battered and broken. The new life that Christ gives is lived out at the core of life's relationships in the midst of life's deepest trials. God answers the question of suffering through the broken who have been recipients of such healing grace. They are not satisfied unless they are growing in and sharing the grace of Christ's redeeming love with others. As long as the world is broken, the Grace Gathering is relevant because of its hope-filled message of life in Christ. God calls all people to this new life in Christ to be a part of this grace-gathered community. Those who answer the call display Christ's grace, truth, and love to the broken world. The Grace Gathering is the very Body of Christ beaming His light into a dark and broken world.

In Ephesians 1:3 (KJBT), the Apostle Paul declares that God "has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ." These spiritual blessings are given to Christians for living in this present world. They provide the clarity which is necessary to deal with the chaos created by sin''s curse. God''s blessings are necessary in directing believers'' thinking in order that they may live each day with a biblical worldview. These spiritual blessings are a constant source of enlightenment and encouragement. They are a rock of stability in the midst of the shifting sands of humanistic philosophy. They are a defense against the constant attacks and schemes of the evil one.       In over fifty years of being involved in various ministries, I have observed that many Christians have little understanding of all the blessings that God has given to them in Christ. This book will help believers understand all that God has given to them in Christ. Spiritual Blessings from your Heavenly Father may be used in devotional reading for personal Christian growth. It can also be used for small group Bible study or for the entire church. Successful Christian lives must be based on an understanding of biblical truths and how they are applied daily. Christian living must be guided by a clear understanding of the Word of God. Our Heavenly Father has given believers many spiritual blessings revealed in the Scripture. Volume one of Spiritual Blessings from your Heavenly Father explains the first twelve blessings the Heavenly Father provides for His children.RedemptionForgivenessHoly and Without Blame Spiritual AdoptionAcceptance with GodAn Inheritance Sealed with the Holy SpiritEnlightenedEmpoweredMade Alive SpirituallyGod''s WorkmanshipMade Near

Retreat of the Soul journals the spiritual pilgrimage of a group of ministers from a variety of theological traditions. Their journey parallels their annual retreat to the Abbey of Gethsemani near Bardstown, Kentucky. This collection of writings invites you into their spiritual journey of the soul. Their writing expands the Apostle Paul’s encouragement to “pray without ceasing” as the core of the contemplative life.In these reflections a person will discover how the disciplines of silence, meditation, ritual and nature set the table for personal communion with Christ in prayer. There is a biblical practicality that encourages the awareness of Christ’s presence on the daily path. In the midst of the realities of life one needs to retreat to reinvigorate the soul.Spiritual renewal in worship and a deeper appreciation for the cross of Christ awaits one on every page. Be encouraged to “be still” and hear Christ knocking at the heart’s door. He invites all to a Retreat of the Soul in prayer. This book is ideal for a personal spiritual journey. There are also discussion questions that encourage meaningful small group interaction.
