Ted Buckley has spent his career helping people plan financially for retirement. But retirement is about much more than money. That's why in "Retired! What Do You Want to Do for the Next 30 Years?", Ted covers everything about retirement except the money. Once you've got your money on the right trajectory, it's the day-to-day aspects of retirement that you need to work on. Even if you are single, divorced, or widowed, you'll find ideas that will change your retirement years for the better. You (and your partner) will: ¿ Learn what drives you and your personality, behaviors, and core values. ¿ Develop a purposeful Personal Bucket list that will endure and be revised throughout retirement. ¿ Gain an understanding of a deeper connection to your partner through fun couples and individual workbook exercises. ¿ Understand why having OUR lane, THEIR lane, and MY lane activities makes your retirement journey more satisfying. ¿ Develop strategies to realize the 5 phases of retirement to be as connected and active as you want to be. ¿ Learn how to plan ahead to avoid one of the major crises facing seniors, "loneliness as you age!"As a dedicated financial advisor, Ted Buckley was often asked by retiring clients to recommend books on the HOW-TO part of retirement. He never found one that he thought offered enough helpful information. So instead of recommending sub-par books, Ted decided there was a huge need to write a comprehensive guidebook to help people get mentally ready to enjoy retirement to the fullest and have the time of their lives. This book is not about the money. It's all about being happy in Retirement!Retirement, Retired, Financial Planning, Investing, Hobbies, Bucket List, Goals, Widow, Divorced, Social Security, Pension, Insurance, Long Term Care, Money

God created man as a spiritual being like Himself with the intention to live with them forever. Because of mankind's rebellion against God, they died spiritually but continued to live under the powerlessness of their soul--intellect, emotion, and will. Man's intellect gathers information from the senses of the body and processes it, his emotion decides what he desires to do, and his will carries out his soul's evil intent.Even though man was spiritually separated from God, He still desired to live among His people. His first dwelling place was a tent called the tabernacle, which was later replaced by the temple. Both shared three distinct parts: the courtyard, the Holy Place, and the Holy of Holies. God dwelt specifically above the Ark of the Covenant in the Holy of Holies. The tearing of the temple's curtain at Christ's death signified God's coming from behind the curtain to dwell in man, His new sacred temple. Man's soul forms the new Holy Place with its intellect, emotion, and will. These correspond to the lampstand, the altar of incense, and the table of showbread. Man's re-born spirit forms the new Holy of Holies with its intuition, conscience, and communion. These correspond to Aaron's staff, the two stone tablets, and the gold jar of manna, all of which Moses placed in the Ark. For the first time since the fall, man no longer has to live by the powerlessness of his soul. Because of Christ, God can indwell man. His presence enables them to be spiritual men and women who experience the power of His resurrection. The intent of The Tabernacle, The Temple, and You is to understand what we were, to identify where we are, and to grasp what God has called us to be.Ron joined the military at the age of seventeen with the hope of adventure. On the flight to boot camp, he heard God's voice: "Ron, are you going to live the rest of your life for yourself, or are you going to live for Me?" By the time the plane landed, Ron had made Christ both his Savior and Lord. During his time in the military, he was nicknamed "Reverend" because of the radical change in his attitude, behavior, and character. After an honorable discharge, Ron endeavored to serve his Lord Jesus Christ in instant, absolute obedience. Christians first recognized Ron's prophetic gift while he was working in the inner city. His heart was broken by the church's apathy to the poor and by their conformity to the world. The Bible defines the gift of prophecy:And if I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; ...but do not have love, I am nothing. (1Co.13:2 NIV)The gift of a prophet is used to reveal God's truth and will to man. Love does not deviate from the truth; love always tempers the truth. The Bible teaches that the truth shall set us free when it is applied to our lives. Ron's life has been committed to sharing the transforming truths of God's Word. His heart is for Christians to become fathers of the faith who can display Christ's love, share His wisdom, reveal His power, and walk in His Holiness. It is Ron's hope that after reading The Tabernacle, The Temple, And You, you may have a better understanding of who you are in Christ.keywords: Spiritual man, God's temple, Tabernacle, soul, spirit, born-again, spirituality, transformation, new beginning, hope

My nonfiction, self-help book, Caring for Someone You Love, deals with helping my father during the last year of his life. Healthy and active all his life, Dad suddenly took a fall at age 80 that resulted in a downward spiral that rendered this fiercely independent man suddenly dependent. Caring for Someone You Love, is the story of how this affected both of us. It is a story of love and adjustment and lessons learned, a personal story with broad implications at a time when our older population is larger than ever before in history. With more than 40 million Americans 65 and older, countless sons and daughters will one day find themselves in my position. My father's end of life was an inspiration to me. It is my hope this book will be an inspiration to others. I am also the author of an earlier book, Kindness on a Budget, which illustrates the gifts of being kind daily, both for the giver and the receiver alike. I am an experienced promoter, having discussed Kindness on a Budget on numerous radio shows and as a featured guest speaker before various organizations. Suzanne Elise Abels, M.S., is the mother of 3 dynamic children: Zachary, Haley and Riley. Her husband of 30 years, Peter, is her anchor in life. This book began as a coping mechanism following her father's near-fatal fall in April 2016. She promised him she'd see it through. They shook on it. Suzie's first book, "Kindness on a Budget," illustrates the outsized impact of subtle, daily generosities of spirit. Suzanne lives in southern California, where she enjoys, hiking, Yoga, and gardening. The Valley is a treasure trove of precious metals and gem stones that could fund global Islamic extremism for generations and ignites a race to secure it. The crisis forces Secretary of Defense Madeline Coltrain to fight a political war with her nemesis at State, and a shooting war with a drastically eroded military capability. Coltrain must walk a fine line between what's needed to meet the threat and what's constitutional as she stretches the boundaries of the President's directives. The race to the Valley of Stars violently erupts when Pakistani forces, led by a rogue General aligned with the Caliphate, collide with the severely outnumbered allied forces in the rugged Afghan mountains. As the battle for the Valley rages, a new set of leaders emerges from unlikely places. The allies, led by Lieutenant Colonel Abdul Qadir, a Shia, unique among Afghan officers, who commands unwavering loyalty from his mostly Sunni troops. Lieutenant Colonel DB Watkins, a highly decorated American commander with a reputation of building relations with local leaders. And Staff Sergeant Shirin Kirkorian, nicknamed "e;The Lioness,"e; an intelligence asset and first female to complete Ranger training who balances deference to Islamic customs and culture with deadly efficient combat skills. They form a lethal triad to counter the savagery of the Islamist forces aligned against them. The tentacles of the Caliphate's violent ideology expand across the globe, and blurs the lines between ally and enemy. Throughout the history of man, aside from the Gospel itself, few Biblical topics have been studied and debated more than Bible prophesy, specifically prophesy surrounding the events leading up to and including the Rapture, Tribulation, the Second Coming of Christ, the Millennial Reign, and the judgment of man. Any such study vividly reveals the intricate role of Satan and the demonic realm. This is a story about the involvement of these fallen angels in the affairs of man in an attempt to disrupt God's plan for mankind. Although the scenario described in these pages is speculation at this point in time, it may well come to pass as End-Time events continue to unfold. THE ENGLISH MAN is a frightening tale of dark spirits weaving themselves throughout a serial murder investigation in a Missouri Amish community while attempting to alter prophesied events already set in stone by God before the creation of either man or angels. And the LORD said unto Satan,Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it. Job 1:7Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour. 1 Peter 5:8
