Women love him, flock to him, lust for his sculpted body. Yeah, life is good for this hockey player. Or it was until lately. After blowing a key play in what may have been the biggest game of the season, the fans sour on Jaxon. Good thing memories are short, right? Uh, they're not when a widely popular sports blogger, known simply as Mr. Hockeypants, calls Jaxon out and places all the blame for the loss on him. Life goes from bad to worse, and Jaxon wants to get away. Good thing one of his teammates has a beautiful, secluded beach house he can escape to. Sand, sun, surf, and lots of alone time sound good to this disgruntled centerman. Only problem is the beach house is already occupied--by beautiful and spunky Cara Milne. Cara and Jaxon are off to a rocky start after an extremely awkward first meeting. Yeah, these two pretty much hate each other. But Jaxon, forever a "player" at heart, vows to win his housemate over. What he doesn't know is Cara is Mr. Hockeypants! His worst enemy, the bane of his existence! And she's determined that he never finds out. This book is the fourth book in the Seer Series. In volume one we explored the concept of the Seer gift and briefly looked at the language of visions and dreams. Book two examined how the seer gift operates while ministering to the sick and hurting. Book three we looked at the seer gift and its relationship to prophecy and the office of the Seer Prophet. In this volume we will look at symbolism and its relationship to the language of visions and dreams. The ministry of the prophetic to the body of Christ has always been a passion of mine, partially due to my own personal gifting from God, but more so to the impact it can have in the life of the believer. Visions and dreams are a big part of that gifting. This book is simple a guide for you to ponder as you pray about the symbols and metaphors God uses when speaking to you.

There's something about looking at people in old photographs. Maybe it's their smile-or lack of a smile, maybe it's the look in their eyes, or maybe it's the way they're posed. If you look closely, you'll realize the photograph shows much more than just people. It is a microcosm of the time the picture was taken, a museum of their era, a depiction of their when. As our modern eyes stare into their historic eyes, something passes between us, not only from the picture to us, but from their time to our time. When the picture was taken, THEY had the modern eyes, THEY were up-to-date. In this age of digital pictures, what our legacy will be? A hundred years from now, will people stare at our pictures on device screens and wonder how we lived? The next time you take a picture appreciate what you are doing. Realize that pictures are so much more than pixels arranged into something coherent. They not only show who we are, they show WHEN WE ARE.

Cenacolo is a historical drama based on a not-so-fictional encounter between three of the most famous characters of the Renaissance, Leonardo Da Vinci, Ludovico Sforza, Duke of Milan, and Niccolo Machiavelli. The action takes place at the height and glory of the Milanese court, while Leonardo labored to finish his most famous creation, the fresco at the refectory of the Santa Maria delle Grazie known as the Cenacolo, (The Last Supper), which depicts Jesus Christ's repast with his apostles on the eve of the passion. The plot unfurls the eternal philosophical debate of good against evil; intrigue, falsehood, wickedness, manipulation and treason, versus the ignorant simplicity of innocence, and where torture and murder confront the sublime artistic expression of the human spirit.Cenacolo was the winner of the San Juan Theater Festival of 1996 and was presented as a workshop in Lincoln Center, NYC, in 1995.

The Real Fake World is a reflection of my life told after the passing of my mother who suffered initially from breast cancer for two years and then ovarian cancer for four years. This memoir is about how my mother's illness affected my life and relationships during this six year time period, but it is also generally about the human experience. Who are we when constantly reminded that death waits for us right around the corner? What makes this story different from most is that my mother was psychic, or what she liked to call a sensitive. I knew since the age of ten that she would die young. She told me she would, and she was never wrong. I begin the story with a metaphor - a crashing plane. An adolescent boy deals with the illness of his mother, pretending not to feel the world around him, until which time the plane begins to crash and he is told that his mother is dying. This is a different kind of dying message though, he's heard those many times before. This message, delivered in the last 6 months of her life, feels real. It is not the impending threat of another surgery or another tumor, but something more, something the boy feels and knows to be true. As this 'reality' sets in, a feeling of turbulence builds within the boy and mixes with the threat of an end he knows he cannot change. This presses him up against an emotional wall that refuses to let up, and like a cornered animal, it leads to a feeling of desperation and the rules of his society to crumble around him. His mind eventually reaches a tipping point where it is willing to do anything to find a way to escape the horrors building within itself. This breakdown reshapes how he sees and hears his friends and family, it escalates his sarcastic and sometimes humorous view of the world, and it leads to the trashing of his self-esteem as he throws his body carelessly into alcohol abuse and the arms of the women around him. Knowing from the age of 10 that his mother would die, the boy constantly struggles against this power and the idea that her death is inevitable. He turns this idea around in his mind every which way he can like a feverish dream, trying his best to come to an understanding of it, all the while, doing his best to try and stop it. This book is relevant to any parent going through cancer and wondering its affects on their child. It is also relevant to any adolescent and young adult with a parent suffering from cancer.
