Marcie was desperate to find out what was wrong with her. The constant depression with antidepressants and tranquilizers since the age of twelve; too many suicide attempts to count; migraines that caused her to hit her head against the wall; lost time she could not remember; and numerous psychiatrists, but no answers. There had to be an answer. Almost by accident she starts seeing a Christian psychologist who wants to find the answer too. Her feeling of losing control; her rapid mood swings; her nightmares about a closet door; these all led to an unexpected discovery. A poem she wrote in therapy led them to believe that her inner child was hiding in a closet. But why? A dream revealed a closet full of children that she was hiding. Twenty-seven of them to be exact. Who were they? What did this mean? More therapy revealed that they were all parts of her. Alternate personalities that had lived through: the sexual abuse as a child by her father and others, the rejection by her mother, who blamed her - a three year old; the horrifying rituals of a satanic cult; the torture she endured from them; the rapes, even by a religious clergyman. It all spelled out Multiple Personality Disorder. She had dissociated and alters were created to live through the horror and terror of her childhood. She would have to relive these memories that they had been keeping. Only through the help of God, and the caring therapists, was she able to live through the eleven years of therapy. Interesting and suspenseful as the discoveries are made and inspirational as God puts the pieces back together to make one whole person.

As a teenager, Ron Coleman passed up some pretty amazing opportunities, all for reasons even he didn't understand. This book presents an argument for the thesis that Jesus is the incarnation of the divine Son of God. This argument is based on the philosophical arguments (1)that God would become incarnate in order to make it possible for human persons to become sons of God, (2) that God would confirm that the divine Son of God had become incarnate in a specific individual human person, (3) that God would confirm this by an appropriate manifest miracle, (4) that the human person in whom the divine Son of God has become incarnate would claim to be the divine Son of God, (5) that the teaching and character of this human person would be consistent with what it would be reasonable to believe the teaching and character of God incarnate would be and the justified historical claims that (6) Jesus claimed to be the Son of God incarnate, (7) that his teaching and character were appropriate to God incarnate, and (8) that God raised Jesus from death, and thereby confirmed (9) that Jesus was the divine Son of God incarnate.

The problems of life, they can make you or break you, depending on your beliefs and perspectives. After setting myself up for failure and my world began to fall apart, I found myself sitting alone, humiliated, and broken beyond repair. There was no way of coming back from this, or was there?I chose to end my life when I could not handle the consequences that came from my own actions. My mind was totally consumed with dark and painful thoughts that I could not let go of, but God, who is in control, decided, "No, Jerome, it's not your time. As a matter of fact, I have plans for you, things for you to see, places you are to go. No, my child, it's not your time." And with that, one chapter of my life came to a close and a new chapter began with God leading the way and blessing me beyond anything I could have imagined for myself.This book was written while I was working abroad in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia, in one of the many countries that the Lord gave me the opportunity to visit and work in. This was a prime location for solitude with God, and I had a lot of free time to devote myself to the Lord in prayer, meditation, and fasting. I feel God led me to this location for a deeper relationship with him, and part of me feels he led me here to write this book. I'm one of the many people who looked at suicide as an option to dealing with the hardships of life. Had it not been for God's grace and mercy, I would not be here today, and I would not have experienced the beautiful life that the Lord had waiting for me on the other side of my problems.

The big silver bird was mortally stricken, both engines were out and one was on fire. Even the right windshield had been breached. The large cranes had flown with multiple impacts all over the jet. Inside, the pilot was struggling for control in the buffeting winds, cold and feathers. The copilot was fighting the surging of cold air, trying to plug the hole in the windshield with his winter coat. The manager of the six Asian girls was yelling instructions in Chinese to them. They had to protect their heads and necks with inflated life preservers and their pillows and blankets, for a crash landing was soon to take place. They might have maybe three minutes before impact. The pilot scanned the terrain. Mountains were everywhere, save the half bowl. But one set of eyes up on the mountain saw it all, and he prayed out loud for God to help them....and him!

The Coffyn/Coffin Dynasty is a genealogical recapitulation of fifteen generations born in the United States. At first, I was going to title it The Coffin Saga Continues, but R.
