The future starts with the next minute in our life. The future is now and destiny. The future is seeing eternity. The quality of our future life depends on decisions made up to the present moment. Thus, the future becomes more important than the past and the present. The best life implies the best decision decisions today. None wants a better life and miserable living for his offspring. Thus, understanding the future is critical for generational success. It is paramount to understand principles that regulate a generation to leave a sustainable legacy to generations. Also, everyone needs to shape and demonstrate a reputable attitude underpinning generational successes. This book is about the keys to igniting positive change for generational success. Like no other, this book will change how the reader thinks, speaks, and acts to generate a successful future life. It is also about a family and a generation. The book treats how the current generation can prepare a better season for the next generations. The message and the truth the book carries are generational. It helps the reader prepare, educate, and raise his children and offspring for everlasting success. Thus, the message concerns the reader, the present, and future generations.

The enemy cannot stop destiny. As a young girl in Meggett, South Carolina (twenty miles south of Charleston), Sandra Magwood grew up very poor in a quaint, little four-room home with nine other children; she did not know they were poor. Although she was taught about Jesus, she was ashamed to say his name. She had no idea how significant her reliance was upon him as sovereign would save her life and guide her into her destiny, which far exceeded anything she ever imagined. Those who prophesied into her life about God planted seeds in her heart that were nurtured and watered for harvest at the appointed time of its manifestation. For years, she ran from any reminders of who God was and what he could do. Her ignorance beforehand did not stop her destiny and God's plans for her. At every stumbling block in her life, she was met with a ram in the bush for deliverance. Unbeknown to her, she was in a preparatory phase, as she ran more into his presence, diligently seeking his will and ways well before her challenges. She was kept through an open-heart surgery, major emergency surgery, broken heart, military sexual trauma, and through a crippling unforgiving spirit. She always knew she would become an author confirmed by God and by so many who prophesied from her testimonials and encouraged her to write books. She knows what a broken spirit feels like, and one of her greatest joys is to encourage and uplift others. She writes about truth, family, faith, hope, forgiveness, and humor when humor is fitting.Shhh! Can You Hear Him? is divinely written, divinely motivated, divinely encouraged, and divinely inspired by and through God. God poured into her over the decades, and she pours into others while giving God all the praise, glory, and honor that he rightfully deserves.

Rodgers, Growing Up on Fox Street Page 22 of 179Growing Up on Fox Street is full of warm and uplifting stories from an era gone by. Informative, nostalgic, and engaging at its core, it is written from the viewpoint of a little girl enjoying carefree youthful days with her brothers, cousins, and friends in a small American town during the 1960s.It was a time when moms stayed home and parents allowed their children to play freely in the neighborhood. There was only one car in the driveway, and family mealtimes meant eating home-cooked meals together around the kitchen table. There were bikes to ride, ball games to play, creeks to swim in, forts to build, and neighborhood quarrels to settle. Families went to church on Sundays and Vacation Bible School in the summer. The boys played Little League Baseball as the parents cheered them on from the bleachers. They watched parades every year in town and anticipated Santa's visit and Christmas festivities each December.Even though the times are different today, for the Fox Street kids (and all kids everywhere), the idea of growing up seemed so far away. Their personalities were shaped by their families and friends and the world around them. It is their childhood memories that now seem far away.Growing Up on Fox Street features charming illustrations by the author and helpful annotations for the younger reader. The reflection questions for each chapter will help the reader tell their own story and stimulate meaningful conversations with family members about their childhood recollections.

Have we lost our sense of awe and humility before the all-powerful, creative, and holy God of the universe? We inhabit a post-modern age where scientific rationalism has replaced reverence and self-centered "spirituality" has overtaken biblical faith as society's prevailing belief system. Within the church, we have become overly comfortable and casual with a domesticated, familiar view of God that is far removed from the burning bushes and whirlwinds through which biblical figures experienced the living God.Inspired by a brief remark during a sermon, Trembly sets out to recover aspects of God--including his physical presence and power--that are central to biblical narratives of human encounters with God yet often overlooked in our modern readings. As a practicing psychotherapist, he brings a keen understanding of character and the human mind to his consideration of Moses, Jacob, and others who were transformed by their direct experiences with God.The God who emerges from Trembly's exploration is a God of unlimited power, creativity, and righteousness who refuses to be confined by the limits of human imagination and who speaks an unambiguous message, inviting us to share in the transforming work of his mighty "right hand" in the world.

This cheerful children's book delivers the message that God is the supreme provider of all gifts. The book offers youngsters the realization that earthly possessions are wonderful blessings and favors, however minimal when compared to the gifts God gives us.The simplistic detail on each page absolutely brings the book to life. The words offer encouragement for children to reflect on who God really is to us and what God truly provides for us.Locked in crystal clear biblical scripture is the guarantee that God is the ultimate source of all things.Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above coming down from the Father. The storm was raging. Cold hard wind with torrential rain and mudslides. It was difficult to keep their footing as they slowly traversed the wet muddy trail.Suddenly, mud came falling from above like an avalanche. Both Hunger and Thirst were swept off their feet and began sliding down the mountainside. Panicked, they knew they needed to hold on to something to keep from falling all the way down the mountain to what would likely be the end of their journey. Feeling the pressure on all sides, tumbling hard, they made a desperate attempt to grab some tree branches and shrubs as they fell. They managed to stop their fall and pull themselves into some low-hanging tree branches and a patch of shrubs. Holding on for dear life, they held each other as they gazed into the dark stormy night.Evidence of Christianity is about the adventurous journey of two characters who desperately want to help the people of the City of Morphoo, a city lost in darkness. With an inner drive to set people free, Hunger and Thirst take inspiration from their grandmother as they set out to climb a mountain outside the city in hopes of finding answers at the top.As they navigate Mount Transformation, their journey becomes one of struggle to understand the difference between human effort and God's unlimited power to bring change through the power of the Holy Spirit. Hunger and Thirst experience many trials as they climb and receive strength to overcome from fellow travelers returning from the top of the mountain. This journey would not only change their city but would also dramatically transform their lives forever as they would come to understand, "When you change, things change."

God tells us not to be deceived about the timing of us being caught up to meet Jesus in the air, an event Christians refer to as the rapture. He would not have said that unless there was going to be an avalanche of false teaching with regard to the timing of the rapture in the sequence of end-time events. Diligently studying pertinent Scriptures in God's Word is the only way one can be free of deception and be spiritually prepared for the times that may befall us. This book helps the reader to deeply study the Word of God to see the truth. --Colleen Wandmacher"I've read a large number of books on the rapture debate, and in my opinion, this excellent book is by far the best. While reading this book I felt like my spiritual glasses were being cleaned so I could see the simplicity of the truth of scripture again. Well done, Colleen. Marvelous! Five gold stars from me." --Matthew Lloyd Grant "I have read several books about the rapture and end-time prophecy including Pre-Tribulation and Mid-Tribulation, and when I come across this book, it was so clear, logical, and well-written based solely on the scripture that I could grasp the subject clearly and convincingly which has helped me tremendously in making up my mind where to stand on the subject of the timing of the rapture at the end time. Really recommended." --D. Wynn

Many people who read this book may think that it contains dreams that have no meaning. They may even say to themselves, "God doesn't speak that way today." They may even try to explain them away by saying, "When the Bible was finished, God didn't need to speak to us in dreams and visions anymore. We have his Holy Word now, and that's how he speaks to us."

It's easy to say life is hard and nobody understands what I have been through. Every time you struggle to get ahead, you dwell on your past experiences. I work hard for everything I have accomplished. But when you focus on the present and all that you have been through, you say, "It was nothing but God." My past may have broken me, but it didn't destroy me. I may not have had the best childhood or past experiences, but I'm still breathing to share my story. The breath in my body is saying God is not done with me yet. I will continue to hold my head high, fix my crown, let my light shine, and live.God is more than good. He will see you through. Walk in victory because victory is yours! This is just a piece of my life's story. I am still living, so my story is still being told.I am expecting God to make miraculous changes in my life. The real-life stories of five courageous African-American women of different ages, backgrounds, and experiences, trusting in God's strength and love. Each story is told to share their experiences, and to encourage and strengthen others. As current executives of Take Your Sister 2 Lunch--a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in New York City, the ladies were inspired upon creating the title of their book from the inspirational song, "Blessed Assurance," a popular spiritual hymn. Under the guidance and tutelage of the TYS2L CEO, Dr. Dianna Anderson, JD, the ladies graciously came together to tell their personal stories in the hopes of providing wisdom, encouragement, strength, and self-love to women all over the world. It was God's love and mercy that gave them the strength and courage to survive and gain wisdom from each experience. Their unique experiences reveal His genuine love, mercy, and existence in each of their lives. So now, by a common thread through their own personal stories, which were destined to be told and shared, created an even stronger bond between them. There's healing in telling your story--for you and others! Speak up, speak out...speak!

  • av Matthew C Haner

Never has there been a time such as this; the world needs truth! It is time for this book!Nearly two thousand years ago, one of the most famous conversations in history took place as Jesus Christ said this: "'To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.' Pilate saith unto him, 'What is truth?'" (John 18:37-38).Pilate was aware that there were many people declaring at that time their truths about a great many things. As it was then, so it is in the twenty-first century, a time when it seems that the whole world is convinced that there are no absolutes, and so truth is only what we determine it to be. In the same premise, the world of religion has become a very confusing place. If God is not the author of confusion, then why are we so confused? Why are there countless versions of Christianity today? Why are teachers teaching so many variations to God's salvation message? When senior deacon and Bible teacher Matthew C. Haner began his quest to find the answers, he could not know of the magnitude of the journey he was about to take. He soon realized that finding the answers could not be about allowing himself to be entangled in the web of endless doctrinal debates and comparing doctrines to doctrines. Nor could it be about pointing to who is right or wrong in this present century but rather, finding and accurately presenting the genuine doctrine of the kingdom of God and heaven. It was then that God put it upon his heart to go "back to the beginning."Written in an easy-to-read format, Matthew's work will systematically guide you into the original truth about repentance, baptism, and receiving the Holy Spirit of God. This study guide clearly reveals the original salvation message taught to the whole world. The author reminds us that the Word of God exhorts all to "earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints," and so students and teachers alike, settle in as you learn of the original truth found within the Word of God.

This devotional book is a second book for the author, Lucy Allen. In her first work entitled The Pond, Lucy shows how God can be seen in everything in the natural world. Nature itself is a testimony to our Creator. In her new book, Pearls of Great Price, Lucy's devotional material has expanded beyond the pond, somewhat, but continues to focus on every day things to teach a spiritual lesson. Matthew 13:45-46 says this: "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant in search of fine pearls. When he found one very precious pearl, he went and sold all that he owned and bought it." Scholars liken this merchant to a Christian and the pearl as the kingdom of Christ. You will find pearls of faith, grace, hope, love, mercy, peace, promises, and salvation within these pages, and it is Lucy's prayer that the lessons contained within this book will point all merchants to the cross of Calvary. The last pearl is that of living the Christian life and knowing the tools that we have in our arsenal to walk the walk as a child of God. Will you sell out to Christ to obtain that pearl of greatest price? *All scripture references are from the King James Version or Common English Bible unless otherwise noted.

Will God use me for a purpose and a plan in my life? If He will, how can I know it? When I hear these questions from people, I always say, "Yes, He will." His personal promise is that He does have a plan and purpose for your life. Just read Jeremiah 29:11. You're not going to understand everything that comes your way in life. Trust one thing: The same God who loved you enough to give you life loves you enough to plan for the future of the life that He has given you. God promises that if you seek Him, you will find Him; and in doing so, you will also discover His plan and purpose for your life (God's will).A lot of people spend a lot of time wondering about how God's will is an enigma that cannot be figured out. This is a very common misconception. We can figure out the plans He has for us. All the details may not be crystal clear at first because God keeps some aspects of His will to Himself; but with study and meditation of God's Word, we can know the path to take in any given situation. He will never leave you searching for answers. You will have to spend time seeking Him for answers to your prayers; but once you do, He will never disappoint you. God is the only one who knows the plans He has for us and how they can be achieved. They are plans that hold renewed joy and peace. You must renew your mind with scripture from God.It's my desire that whoever reads this book will let God show His everlasting love in a fresh, new way. No doubt, once you come to Christ and accept Him as your Savior, the most profound aspect of the Christian life is discovering that He has a will and purpose not only for your heavenly life but also for every situation you face each day.
