The purpose of this book is to help couples to build solid marriages devoid of financial conflicts and marital dissolutions due to money arguments in marriage; by understanding financial planning in marriage, God's design for marriage, commitment in marriage, and the need to put one's spouse above the love for money. This book will help rescue couples teetering on the edges of separation, and divorce because of money arguments in marriage. Scholarly research has found that thousands of couples are separated or divorced yearly because of money arguments in marriage. The enemy of the family knows that once couples are separated, those under their care, such as their children, will be vulnerable to all kinds of social vices such as drug use, dropping out of school, ending up in jail, prostitution, and having children as single parents. Children raised in broken homes do not perform well in a society like those born and raised in two-parent homes.

A Dena Bay Steampunk Story: The Personal Divide takes place in the early 1840s during the Victorian age. The town of Milton, England, had a meager fifty families. Orphaned at the age of seventeen, Abigail (now twenty-two) is the youngest adult in the steampunk clan. She had a secret that not even the original fourteen steampunk members knew about. All fifty families in Milton always saw Abigail as independent and a bit odd, although she had help from a few people to get her to maturity. Cora, a seamstress, had the greatest influence on her. She was like a mother to young Abigail, who lived alone in her father's house after his death. The steampunk clan lived in a cluster on the outskirts of the town while the others lived in town. The land each group farmed was separated by the town. The steampunk men farmed with steam-powered machines while the townspeople balked at change and continued to use horses to pull their farming equipment. Personal differences caused a rift between the steampunk clan and the townspeople as time passed. Socializing with each other became almost nonexistent. Conflicts arose. Spying and gossip became the norm for those who were both curious and disgusted by the steampunk people. There are secrets, cooperation among the steampunk people, issues at school, defection from some townspeople, and terror in the air as Aviator struggles to get home.Enjoy the lives of the steampunk people with physical, mechanical, and social differences that grew from a group of forward-thinking people--the steampunk clan.

Many sincere Christians are in bondage to all sorts of addictions and bad habits that have become strongholds in their lives. These strongholds can be anything from pornography, drugs, food, sex, gambling, etc. that ruin their marriages, employment, and most importantly, their Christian witness. I've experienced the shame and guilt that comes with these sins, and by God's grace, the Lord revealed how to use His Word to pull down these strongholds. I have written this book to help those who are frustrated with being on the roller coaster of guilt, repentance, and failure again. It is an easy read and simple to understand, pointing out God's plan in His Word for you to be free as Jesus stated in John 8:36, "Whom the Son set free is free indeed."

When you read chapter 18 in the book of Revelation, you can easily become curious as to what country this place called Babylon the Great could be referring to. Theologians of the past said it was the literal Babylon located in Iraq; however, upon a more current review of the clues woven within the verses, we find that the evidence points to America. In this amazing comparison of up-to-date facts between a city in Iraq and the United States, ample proof has been uncovered and presented that was not previously seen. The author, a theologian himself, has hammered out another interesting read.

I remember sitting there in silence as Daddy picked up his breakfast plate and threw it across the kitchen floor, unhappy with the way Mommy had made his eggs. This was just one instance among many when his unpredictable moods and behavior would leave me feeling shaken and confused. My story is about living and growing up in a dysfunctional home and the toll it takes on a young girl's heart and mind. Join me on this journey through all the ups and downs, through the abuse and dysfunction, and witness the wonderful ways in which God worked miracles in my life.

Death and destruction are the result of man's fallen nature. This world's history is filled with wars and rumors of war. Untold millions have lost their lives in these endless battles, and sadly, more battles are on the way. This book identifies the major wars approaching the people of this world, according to the Holy Word of God. Terrifying times are drawing near for those who are not saved and, as a result, will remain on this earth during these catastrophes. Praise God; this book also reveals God's simple plan of salvation and clearly describes what a person must do to be saved and escape the horror to come. God desires that all come to the Lord Jesus Christ, receiving forgiveness of their sins and an eternal home in heaven. He has done all He can by sending His precious Son into this world to die on a cruel Roman cross. We thank God that not only did Jesus die for us but that He was also buried and, on the third day, gloriously raised from the dead, giving eternal life to all those who receive Him as their personal Lord and Saviour. God never turns anyone away who comes to Him with a repentant heart. His grace is sufficient to take away our sins and gather us into His loving arms. If you are not yet saved, our prayer is for you to receive Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour today, finding the peace and joy that only He can give.

Writing my true-crime autobiography is only half the story. The second half is my redemption and repentance to my Lord and savior Jesus Christ. The book is 100 percent truth, from my wild childhood days in New York City to me joining the US Navy at age sixteen and serving eight years honorably. The only problem, I was living a double life. I was also a mob associate and worked with a crew from one of the five families. It was the early 1990s, the reign of the Teflon Don. I want people to know I'm Irish and Polish, not Italian. I did a couple of successful heists by myself after I was betrayed by my mob connections, who were also childhood friends. I tell my complete story where I was charged with the RICO Act, which is organized crime; conspiracy to rob an armored truck; as well as conspiracy to transfer currency across state lines. I never did no major time because of one mob contact, I'll call Big Loser, who was a total idiot. Every job he planned in New York with me went bust. Besides all that, he screwed up my job of a lifetime. My biggest mistake was picking him and his neighbor to take the money from the armored truck company I worked for.

The concept of Manifest Destiny has been highly misinterpreted. Such items as the Cherokee Trail of Tears, the US as the hemisphere policeman, exploitation of Pacific Island Nations, and the list goes on, have been, and continue to be blamed on alleged Christian-based Imperialism.Hence this book focuses on setting the record straight, showing via a historical and political analysis how this misinterpretation has occurred. It begins with a focus on the initial premises dating to Massachusetts Bay Colony in 1630. From there comes a central focus on the Cherokee environment setting the stage for the Trail of Tears, followed by US continentalization, all within the context of the political-religious environment of the times and setting. In the post-Civil War period the focus shifts to the framework of the emerging Darwinian era, and its impact on the sociopolitical environment through World War I and Woodrow Wilson's vow to "Make the World Safe for Democracy." This with a focus on Wilson's explicit reference to the Darwinian base of his policy. From there traced is the link leading to the official announcement of the New World Order in 1989 by US president H. W. Bush and Soviet leader, Mikhail Gorbachev. By this juncture, it is shown, the national philosophical foundation has succumbed to an existentialist-linked framework which impacted even much of the Christian Church, a situation which has expanded its reach through the time of this publication, underpinned via the expanding power of the United Nations. Finally, we reach the key purpose of the book, to demonstrate the positive impact which a reinterpretation of Manifest Destiny, in its true and original context, could have on our time, in light of the current national and international strategic scene.

Thoughts on Daniel begins a voyage that takes us from the great exile of the Jews in 597 BCE to a small island in the Aegean Sea called Patmos. What began as an in-depth study of Daniel and his prophecies soon morphed into a journey of discovery that led to Revelation and those things that were shown to John. In my studies, I have become convinced that Daniel and Revelation are bound by a thin red thread. The object of my studies finds a single objective--to bring a message to the church that will give light to future events not only for the church but also for the world. There are many things in Scripture that are hard to understand. For the untutored, it is a constant struggle to bring to light the unknown secrets--secrets that are hidden in plain view for those who do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly the word of truth. (2 Timothy 2:15)

For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. - Ephesians 6:12It is written that there is an ancient war going on! Whether you are aware of it or not, whether you believe in that sort of thing or not, and whether you care or not, that battle rages on even now as you read this. Have you ever wondered: Is the devil real? Can people really be possessed by demons? If so, can Christians be affected by demonic activity? What power does the enemy have over me?What power do I have over the enemy? Is there anything I can do to lose that power? Is there anything I can do to gain more power? How do I claim and use my authority in Christ? Is there any way to get the devil to leave me and my family alone? It Is Written: A Field Guide to Spiritual Warfare answers all of these questions and more by pointing the reader to the Word of God (book, chapter, and verse) for relevant, practical application on exactly how to overcome Satan (and his army) as well as how to take the fight to the enemy. Are you tired of getting pounded on by the devil day after day, week after week, month after month, and year after year? If so, then this is the path to freedom for you! It may surprise you to learn that it is written that if you are an authentic, obedient child of God then the devil doesn't have any power over you, unless you just give it to him! Furthermore, it is written that if you are indeed "in Christ" then you are actually the one with all the power and authority over the kingdom of darkness. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you. - Luke 10:19It Is Written: A Field Guide to Spiritual Warfare will teach you exactly how to endorse and enforce this God-given power and authority.

Broken but Healed is a book about a young girl who grew up in South Carolina and experienced a lot of pain and suffering at the hands of the people whom she trusted for that safety and love. Living with that, it was just unbearable for her, and she had no one to turn to for help. This book is to encourage those who are lost and broken that there is hope for the future and that the past does not define who you are and where you came from. Trust God. He is waiting on you to let him in.

Fresh Ideas for Revelation: From Genesis to the End presents the reader with a new and fascinating perspective for the much-analyzed biblical text--Revelation. In these pages, you will be taken on a tour of the tabernacle that was constructed according to instructions passed down from God to Moses, as well as journeying through the prophecies recorded in Daniel, both of which will serve as a blueprint for unraveling the prophecies of Revelation. Timothy A. Rogers, through study, prayer, and meditation, has delivered an interpretation of Revelation through the lens of typology, offering a spiritual reflection of worldly events where time is not linear, and the Word of God has space to interpret itself. This book is an offering of the eternalist view of Revelation, a significant shift in understanding, rich with new ideas that affirm the Bible as divinely inspired by the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. The reader will travel deep into the Old and the New Testament to gain a more meaningful understanding of prophecy and the role of the Holy Spirit, as well as confronting a new definition of what it means to be part of the body of Christ.

Lennie is an orphan. His father, James L. Lenhart, served as a Navy chaplain aboard the USS Cumberland. The frigate was struck broadside by a Confederate ironclad on March 8, 1862. The next year, influenza swept through Aquidneck Island, and Lennie's devout Quaker mother was one of its victims. Lennie is nearly ten when he is sent from his native Rhode Island to live with his Aunt Millie in Sunfish, Ohio. His family is convinced he'll be safe in Ohio from the uncertainties of war, yet along the way, Lennie would face many dangers. As Lennie begins his journey, he crosses the estuary of Narragansett Bay aboard the little schooner, the Blue Heron. There he is befriended by a barefooted Jamaican cabin boy. As a huge wave crashes over the prow of the ship, the boy turns to Lennie and, in a serious tone, speaks a prophetic word over him: "Listen! Lennie Star, the Lord makes a way out of no way! The dolphins will remember!"Much later, Lennie discovers that the Jamaican boy had not been seen by any of the others on board ship that day! Was the boy merely a figment of Lennie's imagination or had he encountered a ghost or even an angelic messenger? In Ohio, Lennie encounters another refugee of war, Tomochichi, a mixed-race Seminole, the son of the great Osceola. Lennie had no way of knowing when he began his journey, just how much his friendship with Tomochichi would influence his own path and the destinies of others around him.Tomochichi would pass on many gifts to Lennie, like the wisdom of Standing Bear the Osage guardian of the Misty Waterfall: "Some use a silver-plated compass to find their way, yet we have been given a golden compass. Our dreams are golden, given by the Great Spirit they point to our true north."This is a story of loss and recovery where ultimately love has the last word. In the end, walls that separate are dismantled, just as the sandcastle fortresses of children are dissolved by the steady rhythm of an incoming sea tide.

Are you watching the self-destruction of a loved one struggling with substance abuse, or are you the one addicted? Perhaps you are an observer standing outside the arena watching the chaos and asking yourself, "Why don't they just quit?" If you find yourself in one of these situations, this book is written with you in mind. By sharing our family's story of tragedy and triumph, we have an opportunity to encourage those whose life's pathways have taken them to some of the same dark places our family has been.If ever a story of miraculous recovery--from the agonizing valley of alcoholism and addiction to the mountaintop of recovery and service--should be told, it is the story of Gene Duffy, my dad. His journey took him from the gutters of Chicago's skid row, including a trip to the morgue to be prepped for burial, to the peace and serenity of California's beautiful Napa Valley, where he pioneered an amazing work and became one of the most prominent voices for recovery in his day.It is my hope and desire that this book, with my dad's life story serving as a platform for carrying the message of hope, and my sharing some lessons I learned along the way, may inspire someone who may be spiraling downward in cycles of misery and destruction to seek help. It may also encourage someone whose life has become difficult as they are being sorely impacted by another's deadly addiction. Let me assure you, there is hope! Although no one can go back and change their beginning, anybody can begin to change their ending! One does not have to live out the rest of their life captive to the misery and horrors of a difficult past; rather, they can begin today to embrace a happy and fruitful future.

Friskers was a very intelligent and unusual cat. He was king of Windy Knoll, and he patrolled the fields to make sure he protected his territory. There were bunnies and field mice in the fields behind the barn, and he was a fearless hunter. He started laying upside down on the steps leading into the pool and finally decided it was cool to just put all of himself in. Of course, he was very particular about his big red barn and did not like guests unless he had invited them. Ms. June would have to remind him that God wanted all of us to treat each other with kindness. Every morning Friskers would hurry so he could run to the house to listen to Ms. June read her book. Not just any book but the one that has all the rules for humans to live by each day.
