For years and years, I wasn't able to sleep for more than a couple of hours. You get used to it, but that's not necessarily a good thing. An ebony-haired, Indian goddess painting images of other worlds, who managed to paint a portrait of me before she'd ever seen what I looked like with her own two eyes. A century-old psychologist who believed that I could be made whole again. A Japanese assassin who turned his back on family tradition in order to lead a truly noble life. A selfless and courageous husband and wife, and their lovely daughter, who turned down the opportunity to be King, Queen, and Princess, respectively. What was it that they could possibly have seen in a guy like me? If there's one thing I've learned on this journey touching on all manner of life's many aspects; family, philosophy, psychology, economics, religion, music, romance, fashion, technology, politics, and even agriculture; is that when a woman chooses you as her mate, whether for a night or for life, there's practically no stopping her from getting what she wants - not that I ever wanted to stop her. The attraction of a female is the most powerful force in the universe. After having found the way out, I will find the way back. There's always another way. I'll do whatever it takes to get back to her. Anyone who stands between me and my love will be struck down, not by my hand, but by Death from the shadows, and there's nothing that you, or I, for that matter, can do to put a stop to it.
