William Frederick Cody (February 26, 1846 - January 10, 1917), known as Buffalo Bill, was an American soldier, bison hunter, and showman. 30 多年前發生的六四運動，已經過去三分之一個世紀了，作爲那場運動的當事者和見證人，我從來都無法停止去思考這場給我一生帶來影響的運動意味著什麽，它有怎樣的歷史意義和價值。 本書從最開始構思到寫作完成歷經 30 餘年，包括從監獄裏面夾帶出的很多手稿，以及出獄後我在南京悄悄的錄製了一些音頻，轉存在香港一位友人處，直到我到達洛杉磯後才開始整理所有的書稿，斷斷續續地完成這本書。 吳建民，八九年六四運動南京學運高自聯主要領導人之一。六四後組黨"中國民主前線"，擔任主席。一九九零年被中共國家安全局南京市局發佈〇〇一號逮捕令，後被中 共定罪"組織領導反革命集團主犯"，判刑十年。一九九一年美國總統老布希安排時任國務卿詹姆斯-貝克"六四"後首次正式訪華，向中共政府索要的主要政治犯之一。（參見中共外長錢其琛回憶錄《外交十記》第191頁）。一九九七年經美國政府斡旋提前出獄。 二〇〇八年，率所在小區民眾向政府和SOHO國際開發商開展百日維權活動。二〇一五年流亡赴美。二〇一七年在Youtube開設自媒體頻道《建民論推墻》。閱讀點擊率上億人次。每日更新時政評論成為海外政經類經典欄目之一。二〇一八年《全民共振》發起人之一。
